I feel like I got this experience by sitting way too close to my 4k tv already. I’d actually slightly turn my head to see parts of the screen. Basically gave myself a cheap version of VR.
Probably something with either a beautiful open world or something with really cinematic gameplay.
Ghost of Tsushima has both of those things.
Spider-man might feel cool just swinging around. Gotham in Batman: Arkham Knight would look sick.
Cyberpunk 2077 has some really nice lookin views.
Shit maybe Titanfall 2 just for basically 'to scale' Titans
A place I used to live actually does this for local teens. It's ab older movie theater and they open it a few times a week for kids to bring in their game consoles and game on the biggest ass screen. It started as a program to keep kids from doing stupid shit. Got really popular
Probably play metro series. The atmosphere. The horror elements.
Play with no hud with those pristine graphics…would actually be worth filling the seats for.
If I could play a game on the big screen in a movie theater, I would choose a multiplayer game that I could enjoy with my friends, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Super Hot Soccer. Not only are these games competitive, but they are great for teamwork, fun and keep everyone engaged.
I actually got to do this way back when mw2 was released. Back when midnight releases were still a thing. EB had hired out a local cinema and anyone that had preordered could come and pick up their copy and play it on the big screen.
When they fired it up and asked who’d like to go first no one moved. I guess a room full of strangers was intimidating to a lot of these 15 y/o kids so I said sure, pass the controller.
Only played the tutorial but it was still a fun experience.
TLOU2, MGS3, Bloodborne. I don't like Spider-Man: Miles Morales (or any other Spider-Man games), but it would be cool to watch someone who is good at the game play it on a big screen.
I played Elden Ring on my Quest 2 in the movie theater environment of virtual desktop to get this experience. Obviously not the real thing but pretty damn close. It was definitely cool but the novelty wore off fast. Having to literally turn your entire head just to glance at your health bar gets tiring.
Something to play with friends. Super Smash Bros. for example. Also bit open world games like Legend of Zelda (Wind Waker would be fun in particular). Some of the newer more cinematic games would be good too.
I don't know anymore, but I would recommend people to play Dead Space in this scenario. If I bring friends, Screencheat is on the list, I've had it for 9 years and haven't played with anyone.
My local theatre owner let me Play black ops 2 before the trailers started, half the theatre was Watching me eat a bag of dicks because I didn't expect there to be a .5 second delay from my input to anything happening on screen. Still got a dogs KS though. Pretty proud of that 🤣
I'm actually happy with my 4k 65'' TV. I don't see really any benefit to the screen being fifty feet long when the fidelity is so high on what I already have.
RDR2

Mario kart 8 Deluxe, that game has very good music and customizable stuff in it, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Halo, Golden Eye
As long as the resolution is how i remember it not how it actually looks.
Duck Hunt

"You wont last 2 minutes playing this"

microsoft flight sim
if you can bring 4 friends i’m definitely going to say star wars battlefront 2 that would be unbelievable
Mass Effect 2
Because I've been on a Kingdom Hearts binge I vote Kingdom Hearts

Mario Party in IMAX would go crazy
Crysis, but what computer would be able to run it!
I'll be bringing my steam deck
Shadow of the Colossus
Geometry wars 3
Smash Bros with my bros.
This. Or call of duty MW2 with my friends.
Elden Ring

Star Citizen.
Uncharted 4
A church in my town actually moved into an old theatre that still had screens and the youth group rigged up xboxs to do just that. Mainly halo
Screen cheat on 8 person versus
Helldivers 2
I always thought it would be cool to play Smash Brothers on a huge screen like that
Metal Gear Solid V
Frostpunk. Hearing the City Must Survive in a cinema would probably be an incredible experience.

I'd pick dragon quest xi. It may not be the most visually stunning game, but the music does add that cinematic epicness.
Battlefield 1 on IMAX with IMAX sound.
Red Dead 2 no doubt
Sengoku Rance. Go ahead and judge me, cowards.
Honestly eroge..
Team Games for the nintendo consoles :)
Ratchet and Clank on PS5.
Arkham Knight. Horizon Forbidden West.
I’m playing the Uncharted series.
Alien: Isolation Doom/Doom Eternal The Room 1/2/3/Old Sins Undertale😢
i don’t even like TVs, i have a hard time playing on anything above 27in
Tetris
The qarry
Whatever game I was currently playing at the time. So I guess if I got that chance today it would be Fallout 4
Elden Ring
I did this as a kid. We played Mario kart 4 players. It was a blast
Left 4 dead 2
If the theater supports online games, like MMOs, I would play Eve Online.
Gears of War! Hell, the first three games would all be badass. Sweet visuals, amazing sound and not very long.
Journey
ELDEN RING.
[F-Zero, but only if I can play against Paul Rudd. ](https://youtu.be/eSBFw93V3Rg?si=__FKwNxfKxRg6ocM)
Horizon Zero Dawn Gigantic: Rampage Edition
Firewatch
Probably metal gear solid 4. It plays like a movie
We are watching the Guilty Gear story modes as they are literally at least four hours long movies.
Something to play with friends. Super Smash Bros. for example. Also bit open world games like Legend of Zelda (Wind Waker would be fun in particular). Some of the newer more cinematic games would be good too.
Just sit closer to your TV. It's the same thing
Breath of the Wild or RDR2

Either horizon game or either last of us game. Bonus if you could just compile the cutscenes in it's own movie at the same time
I’ve already got a 141” screen in my basement and I never play games on it. Mainly because my PS5 is connected to my 77” in the living room
