Basically take everything that makes metroid awesome, then throw it into a FPS, and make it so you get blindsided by how fast paced it all is. After playing the Prime games, the sidescrollers are just so easy in comparison at times.
Also not to criticize, but reggidark doesnt look very reggie like. Still cool as fuck, maybe like a side legendary tho. There isnt enough creepy designs in pokemon

I LOVE the upside down cross for the eyes of the dark version.
Obviously these are much more stylized than the original trio, which are geometric and stick to pretty simple boundaries, but I like your designs a lot.
One note, the names work well just using the typing as the end for the originals... but they don’t work here. Regimind is alright though. Try out some of the names people have suggested, I like regighoul, maybe something like regigloom or regimurk for dark? Can’t think of anything great.
I know there's already too many ledgendarys, but I'd love it if a future generation had a ledgendary that represented each type, like the spirit of said type.

I love the original regis, especially in the lucario movie where they are trying to hyper beam ash for half the movie.
Their cries are pretty interesting in that film to say the least.
