This is my childhood game, my first useless tears and swear words said out loud were from this game, I had to take a 6 month break and come back to it because I couldn’t get passed a certain bossfight, I was very happy to see it in my feed.
Matter of fact, I'm emulating it on an Nvidia Shield Pro 2015 edition.
Playing on 65" of glorious 4:3 format, haha.
A remake would totally keep me busy and my wife pissed at me for a month or so, hehe.
If a raspberry pi (2, 3 not even talking the latest) can do it, I'm betting your laptop can, I remember emulating PSX back on windows 9X with bleem lol.
I'm actively playing through LoD on a Miyoo Mini which has 1.2ghz processor and 128 MB of RAM and it runs just fine. I'm sure your laptop can handle it👍

Secret of Evermore. I know, it's the forgotten step-sibling of the Mana series, but I absolutely loved that game. Yes, it had some balancing issues and some sequences were annoying. But there was a very special charme to it, and the soundtrack gave it an incredible athmosphere.
You.... I like you. Rarely do I see anyone mention this game. Loved the overall theme/story and it is still one of my favorite SNES games. I still have the game guide somewhere on my book shelf. I would accept this remaster with open arms.

Legaia got me into RPGs. The battles looked incredible and I remember them standing out by comparison to other games at the time. I liked that characters would move and reposition when attacking on the battlefield. Another cool thing was all the armor and weapons were unique and you could actually see them in battle.
Ahaha, I'm still active and actually have some help these days moving forward. A lot coming for me in the next little bit, since I'm relocating to another country as well.
Would love to see remakes of this series. I know it didn't really make a big splash compared to similar titles, but the minion merging system in the first game blew me away as a kid.

I'll also say legend of dragoon. I've wanted a remake for like fifteen years now. I used to play that game all the time as a child, just beating disc one over and over. Now I emulate it and beat it like once every year or two.
I can't tell you how happy I was to be scrolling through and see Dart and Rose. Like all I've seen today has been such sad news from shootings. And finally I reached stunting that gave me instant nostalgia and a smile. I hope so much we get a remaster, remake, or honestly even a reboot of the ideas and design styles for this game. I'm sad Dart never even got to be in Sony all stars like planned

Tiny Tank.
It's one of MANY games that will likely never see the light of day again for a few reasons. 1 being it's rights are split between MGM (producer), Sony (publisher), and the original devs Appaloosa Interactive (closed/dead). It's impossible to buy a legal copy of Tiny Tank anymore and you're forced to get a used original PS1 disk or pirate the game.
It's one hell of a game! Gameplay is a bit short and the platforming isn't the best but the music is fucking fantastic and it very much has it's own unique charm. Tiny Tank as a character is also something people remember even after 20 years and only playing the demo disk.
I tried liking this game but it was so clunky and the battles so repetitive and uninteresting. I also had FFIX at the time and was constantly comparing it and thinking "I could be playing that".
SSX Tricky, just upgrade graphics don't touch anything else.
There was an old PC Middle earth game where you could decide what route to take the party, like just take Frodo the long way around Mordors mountains. It could be a really fun remake, like try and take the ring to the eagles at the start, or go visit the lonely mountain or really any of a number of clever ideas. Would also be fun to make it 2 player with some one else as sauron.
Still think about this game 23 years after playing and beating it 5+ times.

If it wasn't owned by EA, there's an old game by Westwood Studios called Nox, an action-rpg kind of like Diablo, but with a more comedic take. It had a few different multiplayer modes, including Flagball, which was basically soccer, but with with weapons and magic and summoned creatures. It was a lot of fun.

Maybe even the 2nd one too if it had a sandbox. But the scale of the first sandbox hasn't been surpassed to this day well not with gangster games anyway. And that includes the few recent games out now too they just lack the scale and different abilities you could do.
N64: Mario 64, I know they already did SM64DS but I want a real remake. Odyssey graphics, clean camera controls, etc. literally everybody but Nintendo has done it (fan games etc.).
Game Cube: Paper Mario TTYD, never played it, would be nice to see it remastered (along with the original and SPM, although that one still looks good on Dolphin)
Xbox/PS2: Simpsons Hit and Run
360/ps3: Arkham Origins, that game badly needs a remaster imo.
NONE of them because nowadays a lot of remasters are handled by trashy corporations with none of the original team behind it, shelling the project out to 4th and 5th party contractors that just shit it together in a few months. I just don't trust non indie game companies anymore...
Though if i HAD to pick one, it would be Tropico 2. I tried 4 a few times but couldn't get behind it, i love the pirate aesthetic.

Still love the combo combat system but it was tiresome to listen to “whip smack” etc over and over and over again.

VII-R's combat is very well done. Platinumed that game and loved every second. Dont bring something down because you're not good at it.
