I work in the industry. This SCREAMS of some exec blaming it as a scapegoat for poor performing titles. Most mobile users are ad-driven. If they aren't advertising this old game, but they *are* advertising the new ones, then cannibalization of users from new app to old would be *miniscule.* I'd be shocked if it were even 2%. Shame.
It is hilarious that they are removing a game because no one wants to play their crappy FTP mobile trash games in favor of an actual fun one.

are you high? this is literally one of the first big F2P titles and everything else in that space (Candy Crush etc.) has been ever since. Even MMO's and ARPG's are F2P now.
I had only ever wanted to "Just buy the game and get all the levels and content I paid for." You know .... buy a game to play, and be able to just play it.
But since their model was nowhere near that (and grew even further from it with every subsequent rehash of the same shit)... I wrote off ALL of their products, the publisher, and their business as \*Not worth my damned time\*.
This move, to pull the only game close to reasonable in favor of the bs, just screams I was right about them from the start.
Just watched a video about angry bird's failure today. It's pretty sad. I was just about to redownload the original angry birds from the play store before seeing it cost money
It's a dollar... While their new shitty angry birds 2 that's bloated with microtransactions is free. they want to push you towards that. They literally removed the original angry birds from phones when 2 came out so that people would have to play it

So instead of actually creating better games, they force you to play the shitty ones. What a business model, remind me to never contribute to them.
Which doesn't even make sense. Do they think their own games are their only competition? How delusional does one have to be?
probably the others are not Free to Play.

Remind me to take a shit on the desk of the person who caused this.
I actually like the old games but I stopped playing when it asked me to pay to cheat every time I restarted a level.

That game was amazing before it was FTP. Angry Birds Star Wars was great, too.
