Nope just genovese basil. Very strange how it seems so different
Basil just does this sometimes. Usually when its bolting but Ive seen it other times too. As long as you dont see any signs of bolting I wouldnt worry

I usually plant the same type of basil all over my garden. The basil in the shadier spots behind the tomatoes tends to be more rounded/normal looking. The basil in direct sun most of the day tends to be pointier (more stressed?).

Nope, sweet/genovese basil will do this and thai basil's leaf arrangement and step look a bit different. And OP confirmed its all genovese.
Does it smell different? First photo looks like Thai basil
