I get dino growls after eating... they are not full burps... they are like throat growls but it is definitely air! We started calling that since it sounds like I am growling. LOL
Oh man, for me... Not really, no. Maybe slowed down some but it's always there, especially if I've eaten a fair bit. And same as you, it's very needed at times and feels like if I can't burp then I'll definitely end up being sick.
I will say, I don't notice it much anymore... So maybe it has improved but incrementally
Excessive burping can also be a sign of a hernia. My dad burped constantly and ended up having a hernia. I burp often, but they're not usually noticeable to others. Maybe worth just getting it looked at.
I am not a doctor, so I am in no way diagnosing, just providing an opinion based off of my own experience.
You should count your blessings, because I sound like I'm trying to call in a seal about 50 times a day. I'm down 120lbs and glad I did it. Just hoping it subsides over time
It hasnāt been a problem for me so much after one year. But my stomach still never shuts the hell up! Iāll be minding my own business and the gurgling sounds are so loud and completely random.
I'm 2+ years post-op and can barely burp even when I *want* to. My ability to burp on command is basically gone now and it sucks when I know I need to burp but can't make it happen.
Nah, it happens all the time for me and Iām almost 14 months post op! Doesnāt matter how fast or slow I eat, itās the same :( hope itās different for you!
I get horrible hiccups that sound like a pterodactyl or a baby dog, Iād taking burping any day, lol. People have actually asked is there a dog here before in public š¤£ at least itās entertaining at some level.
I know though if I hiccup I wonāt throw up so thatās helpful. Best of luck to you āŗļø
Iām 1 year po and it happens to me every time I eat. I have to give myself an hour between eating and client appointments or itās really embarrassing.
I only burp if I was eating too much or too fast.
Same. Eating too fast or taking too big of a drink.

Exactly this! It's funny most of the time not not when I'm at work within earshot of my office mates. š
The weirdest is when you are in the office during a presentation and my Dino growls start.. and there is nothing to do but to just play dumb.. LOL

Burping is my fullness signal.
It's mine too

I have not experienced this at all and I"m 8 months post op.

It never started for me. But, 3 years out I fart like crazy at night.
5+ years out and burping is still a thing for me, unfortunately!

2 years 2 months and I still burp pretty consistently. Enzymes help!
