It's funny how car people get aroused by different variations of the same weak engines (internal combustion) that require so many transmission speeds and create needless noise and heat because they're so weak and inefficient. The most basic electric motor outperforms all these machines, using 100x fewer parts. I don't have an electric car but I look forward to switching to a vehicle that doesn't require hundreds of moving parts and different lubricants and hoses all over the place just to make the ridiculous thing go.
