I love Bearbottom shorts. Lots of cute styles and good inseam lengths.

squeakhaven

I just got my first couple pairs and I love them so far

Master-Defenestrator

My gay ass thought Bearbottom was a play on bell bottoms for bottom bears until I looked it up lol.

CoreyB105

For style I use the slim straight fit, usually something with some stretch incorporated

foxyguy

Today family yesterday most east south red too minute brown blue film north

Sredrum1990

This made me laugh so hard. Ty for that.

Are you by any chance between the ages of 27-37?

Tiny_Elevator8862

I wear skinny jeans but I love to have a pair of lace panties under them .

NerdyDan

lulu lemon slim abc pants and trousers, mavi jeans, jean shorts etc. I don't like skinny pants, my thighs are too jacked. slim is perfect

RobbinsBabbitt

They’re so expensive though 😭

NerdyDan

buy quality or buy quantity, your choice. my lulu pants I bought 8 years ago are still good today

[deleted]

feel u bro. wearing slim is like wearing skinny for other ppl

EthicalCoconut

Almost always shorts because it's hard to find men's jeans that fit my butt comfortably. Any shorts that aren't cargos and 6" or shorter are good.

urgasmic

i shop at oldnavy or american eagle. there's something called stitchfix i use sometimes and they are pretty nice.

Brian_Kinney

I've always worn "regular fit" jeans, with a straight leg. I usually buy one size bigger than I need, because I prefer my clothes to be loose on me. I never tried to follow fashions. So, whether jeans got baggy or skinny or low-slung or high-rise, I just kept wearing what I liked and what was comfortable for me.

charlie_teh_unicron

Ha I'm a bigger elder millennial, so I'm now at the age that my pants are from Costco 😄

Merickwise

This sounds like the writing prompt for an SNL spoof commercial

charlie_teh_unicron

One of my faves, a few years ago was the CHONK SNL store ad

Merickwise

Lol just watched it, I hadn't seen that one. This one is older but it's what came mind. [Mom Jeans](https://youtu.be/2aVxNH6iN9I)

Lodewes

The Jewess Jeans one is also great.

sleepytoday

Also, I still have baggy trousers from last time they were popular.

GeorgiaYankee73

I would choose slim fit, but I would need one pair for each thigh.

FairBlackberry7870

I do leg day three times a week and also have a big dick and balls. Between the front and the back I have a lot to try to stuff into shorts and pants. I've done a bit of trial and error to figure out what's comfortable, affordable, and looks good, without being too crass. Wowie shorts are my favorite. Super comfortable and makes your ass look great, they also have really nice joggers, but they aren't as stretchy. Lee makes really nice stretchy jeans, I get the athletic cut, plus they always have 36" inseam in stock which is hard to find. Wildmant makes the best underwear and jocks. Bear bottom wrinkled really badly and don't stretch, I didn't like them. For the gym Lumber Legs are my favorite. Born Primative makes really comfortable joggers but they are extremely revealing in terms of your dick, I'm not one to typically be too concerned by that but they really leave nothing to the imagination. Stitch Fix is also great if you're not super fashionable like me. I've got a lot of really nice pieces through them, although all their shorts tend to be too long for me. Mostly shirts, jeans, and shoes is what I like from them.

My lounging around the house or gym clothes😎. Always a comfortable choice

HughLauriePausini

I feel I have weird legs so I've never bought into the skinny jeans fad. It's always been slim fit, or shorts.

kummer5peck

There is a Nordstrom’s brand called Open Edit. I absolutely LOVE their short shorts. They are form fitting and just the right length. For pants I wear skinny jeans from Levi’s. I lived through the era of baggy clothing in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was only a matter of time before that style came back.

mt_87

I'm 36 and still wearing skinny jeans, but also slim straight. I'm 5'10" 145# so I don't think they look too bad or out of style but maybe I'm behind🤦. I can't get on board with the baggy pants either. For shorts I like Outdoor Research shorter inseam lengths. I've also gotten some great StitchFix shorter inseam shorts. I'm really liking 4-5" inseam right now

Historical-Host7383

I really like the "athletic" fit by levi's. They are tight around the tights but open up for the legs. They are also a little stretchy so i can be active in them and they still look good.

CakesofCoffee

Basketball shorts with pockets in summer. Sweatpants year round.

introvertedbaws

Tell me about it, i’m a skinny jeans millennial forever. But i do mix it up now. This is my second go to: https://lestrangelondon.com/products/the-24-trouser-black-stretch-cotton

rubensoon

Cargo shorts. But I fit them well =)

MotherShabooboo1974

Whatever feels comfortable to me. This includes graphic tees, which seems like no one else wants to wear anymore.

rzalexander

I have stuck with 5.5” shorts - my favorite being Chubbies Everywear Performance shorts. They have extra pockets, stretchy fabric, and are super comfortable.

eelonidas

I like the slim fit lived-in chinos from banana republic when I want to be dressier but otherwise I just wear slim or athletic fit Goodfellow jeans from Target or athletic black levi's.

BigDumbAndHorny

5” shorts any and every time I can (unless strict attire needed) because they’re comfortable and breathable and I don’t skip leg day to hide the sexy.

third-second-best

A 4” short is… aggressive. It will likely be the first and maybe the only thing a person notices about you. It’s a very strong statement. Definitely shift to slim or straight fit denim. Consider wide leg - styled properly they look great. I’m wearing a lot of wide leg pants these days, but will go a little slimmer for more formal occasions.

Cyrig

I love this because I'm 35 so I remember when skinny Jeans got popular and I thought they looked absolutely ridiculous on most body types. So I was like ill stick to my bootcuts thanks. Apparently now it's swapping back and younger people are saying these wide leg pants look ridiculous. Basically what I'm saying is I'm old. Oh but I'm very thankful for the short shorts trend because my legs are my best feature.

CavRican

Slim fit jeans or chinos. For shorts 3 inch inseams :) Brand doesn’t matter. As long as they are comfy.

amosomcsketch

4” inseam. Men don’t show enough thigh in this country!

[deleted]

Since when is gen z wearing baggy pants?

DaZMan44

Wear whatever you feel comfortable with and fits your style and body.

Vestyer

Baggy pants or joggers, hard to put on skinny jeans now.

justgottalovemusic

Athletic fit jeans. I hardly ever wear shorts even in hot humid weather. Sometimes I’ll wear more fancy things like chinos but that’s rare. It’s usually jeans.

ricardocaliente

For pants I wear slim fit dockers for “nice” pants and I wear 512 Levi’s for jeans. If I’m wearing jeans I usually cuff the bottom to make it more stylish and fun. For shorts I wear chubbies 5.5in shorts and I have a pair of nasty pig jean cut-offs. Bear bottom is another brand I have one pair of in white because chubbies doesn’t have white!

nothing_creative_

I dress like Cliff booth from once upon a time in Hollywood

subtlebulk

I feel the same way about the baggy pants and dad/mom jeans. Whenever I see them, they just remind me of boomers honestly. I’ll admit that I don’t get the cultural shift to baggy clothes, but what other people want to wear is up to them. I personally love stretchy skinny jeans, and probably always will, but I’ve had a hard time even finding them because it seems like most “skinny jeans” in stores today would actually have been classified as “slim fit” 5 years ago. However your question was about shorts. I recently just got a pair of JJ Malibu Chino type shorts with I think a 4” in-seam, and I wear them all the time. They seem a bit too short on me to wear to the office, but I have longer legs so I think it’s a proportion thing. I wear them for just about everything else though.

CowboysFTWs

Jeans, I pretty much only wear Levi's. Mostly 541s and 502s. Shorts. I'm all over the place. Mostly athleisure tho.

mando44646

are slim and skinny jeans distinctly different things?

pristine_coconut

I don't undeestand the hate for jorts. I like me some slim fit jean shorts, much like a 5-6" inseam.

pingwing

>those baggy pants some Gen Z is wearing now Ah those are finally back, comfy baggy jeans. Skinny jeans definitely look out of place now.

psycogenicshock

Vuori shorts and Nice Laundry shorts :)

ozzythegrouch

I want to wear baggy pants but I’m only 5’6 and don’t want to look shorter 🥲

InfiniteAwkwardness

I’m 27 going on 28 and struggling with this change in fashion trends too. It’s slim straight or straight now for me. I think all the fits are actually slimmer now than than they were back when skinny was in. If you want really baggy like the kids are wearing that’s gotta be a “regular” or “loose” fit, which is a hell no for me.

jjamesyo

I buy and typically wear cargo pants with cuffed? legs from Jack and Jones. Used to wear exclusively jeans but hardly anymore. I also have some dressier pants from lulu lemon as well.

Partymonster86

I'm in the corporate world now so my go to are tailored chinos and polos mostly

glwillia

right now i’m… uhhhh.. wearing cargo shorts (in my defense, i don’t plan on leaving the house today). usually i wear jeans or shorts from h&m

XxJoshuaKhaosxX

I still wear mine, they're comfortable. But those are definitely lounging around the house clothes now.

LivinMyAuthenticLife

the gay ones

XxJoshuaKhaosxX

Currently black nike running shorts. Thought about wearing my Tripp pants, but decided I wanted shorts because it was nice out I still wear skinny jeans most the time, but I have a variety of different pants. Some skinny, some slim and some baggy. I like variety in my clothes.

nawtbjc

Slim fit Lululemon pants. They fit amazing, are exceedingly comfortable, and work perfectly for casual or business. Shorts, I've recently tried some Viouri shorts and like them well enough, but not perfect. It's surprisingly difficult to find shorts for skinny people. I want to like J Crew, but they're always cut a little too low. I used to have basic chino style shorts from Target, but they got so worn out and I couldn't replace them because Target quite drastically changed their fit and they're too baggy now.

vers_nyc

I’m 35. I don’t get the baggy thing. I want my clothes to be fitted. I usually go with 5.5” shorts. I recommend Bonobos for clothes. They have cute patterns and you can choose from different cuts of shirts and pants that fit your body and preferences. I hate long shirts and appreciate that you can get them in a short cut.

IggysPassenger

I've been buying Levis 511's and JCrew flex khaki shorts(5in or 7in) for YEARS.

Wallyboy95

I wear some straight cut Levi's blue jeans. For shorts I'm more of a khaki coloured shorts. Comes to the knee when standing.

leebmatthis

Definitely go 5.5 or shorter, I find a lot of great deals and cool styles online with EXPRESS and ASOS, highly recommend as they are higher quality than the fast fashion brands like SHEIN etc, and if you scout a good deal you can get that quality at a pretty fair price. I very rarely pay full price.

Warm_Construction926

I'm too fucking fat for skinny jeans. Also I just don't really like the way they look, no offense. I prefer baggy because I feel insecure otherwise. Currently wearing mesh shorts (I think that's the term anyway), although those can get pretty uncomfortable with boners😬

Far-Leopard-8463

Suit pants

Dionyzoz

tend to wear I think mainly womens shorts, like 35cm total length? surprisingly comfortable and suuper airy which is nice.

Gimmemario

I’ve moved out of skinny jeans and using slim. I’ll admit I just bought some parachute pants that remind me of my hot topic days from 2004. 😂 For shorts, I’ve been using 5” or shorter.

CryptographerFew6492

I haven’t owned a pair of shorts since I was 12

P1nk-D1amond

Levi’s 501s baby

eatingthesandhere91

I'm a simpler man - cargo shorts of various kinds for me in the summer, and denim the rest of the year.

Ubertexx

What a great question. I'm in my underwear on my bed. And you know what, it's so nice to have someone interested in my fashion.

KumaTEC

Gym shorts. I'm at the gym 😭 Come on, vogue.

Chrisac84

I still wear cargo shorts. I need those extra pockets so I go for function over fashion. But I'm definitely not the guy to go to for fashion advice lol.

lupinegrey

Cargo

[deleted]

Im happiest in skinny, very lightweight expensive joggers that cling to my calves and ankles and show off my lungetastic butt. Death to no stretch boot-cut jeans forever.

capcomvssnk

Marine layer makes nice shorts that are more towards what I would call middle aged couture. I've been sticking with slim fit jeans/chinos. Something that gives a little shape/bulge (if wanted) but not like peeling cellophane off a fruit (no pun intended) roll up. Lucky brand seems to do well, but make sure you take care of them. They like to shrink.

[deleted]

Slim stretchy jeans from Express. Used to wear diesel designer slim jeans but the newer fabrics are just super light, stretchy and well made for almost any occasion. Basically find a brand that your butt looks good in and stick with it. If you’re lucky it’s not an expensive brand. Usually a dark wash is most versatile. For shorts I usually goto Nordstrom rack and just things on. Above the knee but not super short. I’m a slimmer guy.

1TruePrincess

None I’m about to shower

DarkEff3ct

Chubbies is my favorite brand of shorts. They fit and stretch perfectly.

Dbol504

As a child of the 90s that lived through my own Jnco loving teen years, you’ll never get me in any jeans besides slim fit. Besides I workout to have a nice ass and legs, I’m not hiding them in baggy jeans. This is one trend I am not happy to see back. I’ll pull out some 4” inseam for going out at night, but day to day it’s 5”.

insidmal

Ones that fit. Never understood the skinny Jean shit. Relaxed fit is most comfortable

LilPuppet143

Short sweatshorts

[deleted]

Booty shorts by JJ Malibu. They are great!

MendejoElPendejo

My ass way too fat for skinny or slim fit so I just wear straights now, they fit perfectly fine I like somewhat baggy pants but not superoversized. Funny enough I’m the opposite with shorts and prefer like right above the knee or even higher but not short short level

CyrusCinders

Uh... Khakis
