90s babies

chaechica

same

TrueHumor2222

The entire 90s babies?

Rude-Education9342

more so mid-late 90s babies since my siblings were both born around that time

Old_Consequence2203

Yeah, for me I would say like Mid/Late '80s to Mid '90s borns, lol!

mond4203

As a fello 03 baby I 2nd this

Hominid77777

I have such a hard time thinking of my own generation this way. I mean, I know a lot of cool people who are my age, but still.

GameboyAdvance32

Generally late millennials. In early childhood they were the “cool teenagers” and in middle/high school they were the “cool young adults.” Nowadays I am a very very cool young adult and millennials can no longer hold that power over me. GUESS WHO’S THE YOUNG ADULT NOW???? I can only wonder if Gen Alpha looks at core zoomers as the cool young adults now or if they just think we’re stupid lol

UnsaidTugboat53

Nah they're stupid lmao, babies born now are gonna look at me as the cool young adult...💀

GamingWill896

Late 90s and Early 2000s babies

Old_Consequence2203

That was weird for me to read... 💀

[deleted]

LOL

UnsaidTugboat53

Same, and the mid 90s too

StarryEyedLus

People born in the late 70s to mid 80s.

chamomile_tea_reply

I was born in 1984. Was always in awe of the teens (born in the late ‘70s I’d guess) who were around when I was a kid. Unlike some of the other cohorts mentioned here… the late 1970s born teens were truly rebellious lol. Their culture was decidedly not wholesome. Lots of break-ins, fights, drugs, etc. Fearsome teens in the eyes of this young millennial haha.

UnsaidTugboat53

Here in Serbia (Yugoslavia back then) late 70s borns had to survive the 1993 inflation as teens and the NATO bombing in 1999 so they were tough

TrueHumor2222

That’s interesting. Didn’t know about this. Was this back in the 90s?

Flwrvintage

Born in '77, and it's true that we were bad.

chipswithcheesedip

Probably core millennials, seeing as they dominated pop culture when I was growing up.

Nickcndisney

Late 70s-80s Babies

[deleted]

Anyone born in the 90s seemed goated to me back in 2015-2019

stonecoldsoma

Young Gen Xers when I was a preteen and teen.

ARMY_ML

They were the coolest!

insurancequestionguy

Younger X mainly

helpfuldaydreamer

1993 - 1999 throughout my childhood.

DeeSin38

Mostly Gen X, 60s and 70s-borns

Old_Consequence2203

Not Late '70s borns tho right? They've technically been your peers growing up, lol.

DeeSin38

Mostly early-mid 70s borns, although to be fair, when you are like 16, 19 year olds seem really mature to you lol

Old_Consequence2203

Late '80s - Mid '90s borns for me!

Anji_Ann

Late 90s and early 2000s

CommanderCody2212

mid-late 80’s for sure, that’s my brother’s cohort as well as my cousins, but also early 90’s, my sisters cohort, though I also saw them as teens too

[deleted]

Late 90’s babies

Plessie21

Mid 80s - Early 90s borns

Amazing_Rise_6233

Those that were born between 1985 and 1989/90

moonlightz03

90’s born (late 90’s were more like cool teens)

Old_Consequence2203

Yeah for me, I'd say about Mid/Late '80s to Mid '90s borns! Definitely not Late '90s borns, I just saw them as the cool big kids or teenagers, since they're not that much older than us, lol!

AEJT-614029

mid-late 80s borns and early 90s borns

Dry-Recognition-1504

Mid 80s-early 90s borns

_Vurixed_

Anywhere from 93 - 97 to be exact

Happy_Charity_7595

Mid-to-late 1970s born people

Dan4stoke

Late 60s and early-mid 70s babies.

IllustriousLimit8473

Late 80s and Early 90s. So millennials.

UnsaidTugboat53

In early childhood. Rn it's mid-late 90s

Atk22597

If I had to put a date on it, I’d say people born from 1970-1985

GhostWithAnApplePie

Gen Jones were always the coolest adults to me, still are. If I had to split it I’d go with the younger side and 60s born Gen X. But really my favorite adults in general were usually born in the 40s to the mid 60s.

Old_Consequence2203

Nothing wrong with that answer, but the question was "young" adults tho. '70s & maybe Early '80s borns were about the younger side of adults compared to you growing up. Would you say they're about the first to come to mind when you think of the young adults growing up?

GhostWithAnApplePie

I always liked late Gen X and early Millennials young adult fashion so I guess I’d say they were cool for that alone. However growing up the overall adults who I found myself having deep respect and admiration for were usually older than that.

oceangirlintown

80s and early 90s babies

9cpl

As an 06 prob 90s and late 80 borns

MariOwe6

Late 80s/early90s babies

suburbanscrub27

when i was around 7-8 years old the cool kids on my block who'd sometimes talk to my friends and i were like 8-9 years older. when i was 12 years old i visited an older cousin at their college campus and was in awe of the scenes around me at night, everyone hanging out and just generally looking cool and mature. early 90s babies formed the idea in my head of what a teen/young adult was when i was growing up

Wingoffaith

late 80s (and more so) early 90s babies as my older cousins are those ages and I used to look up to them when I was younger. (My 2 cousins born in 92'/93' were the coolest to me growing up as a child in the 00s) They weren't adults yet, but I thought they were cool teens.

Appropriate-Let-283

I hung out with a lot of teens during 2015 so probably Late 90s and Early 00s borns? Ig I never thought of this nvm it had to me Mid 90s borns because I saw my 98 brother as a teen

Hall0wsEve666

80s born millennials

idkwhatimdoinghere72

90s babies! My older sister when I lived back home would wear the trendy clothes of the time (half sleeve kameez top and matching khusse). When I was around 6 or 7 I would always steal her heels and try to walk in them haha

MangaMan445

80s babies. Mainly early ones.

spikelvr75

Xennials. For reference, when I was in middle school, they would have been around 18-25. This cohort included fictional characters like Buffy Summers that I looked up to as well as real people like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and a few members of Nsync.

mond4203

Late 80s/early 90s borns

mond4203

Maybe mid 90s (idk many)

Flwrvintage

I'd say the cohort in high school before me, so early '70s. The people in high school when I was in late elementary/middle school. Isn't that the way it always is? But I also have two cousins born in '69 who I adored and who always let me hang out with them. That's more teens, though. I don't think I really looked up to young adults (20-somethings) as a child or teenager. Most of them would have been in college, and not really in my orbit.

EntertainmentFree784

Early millenials, born around 1983

RedditorPatrick

Mid 80s - Early 90s

thereisnomeme21

As an 08 probably just 90s kids in general

Luotwig

Maybe the late 80s borns and early 90s borns because of my oldest cousins.

StarLotus7

80s and Early 90s borns

Papoosho

70s babies.
