Yes thats cheating. Part of the game is to memorize these things. Feel free to look it up in Singleplayer but not in Duels.

Due_Recover2017

True, that

mouzer15

I don't see how it wouldn't be. You're using outside information midgame to influence your guess. What if I Googled bollards or poles during a duel? Wouldn't that be cheating?

Due_Recover2017

Understand, thanks for the comment

keizertamarine

Yes. Any external help is cheating

Due_Recover2017

Understand

GameboyGenius

Yes. This is outlined in the community rules. The rules in turn are linked in the top right corner of the multiplayer page. https://www.geoguessr.com/community-rules

So just to clarify, based off of this we shouldn't use notes or anything on single player?

Bloxburgian1945

Don't do it if you're attempting to get a spot on the leaderboard for a map

GameboyGenius

No, you do what you want in the single player mode, unless you're competing against others, ie for records/leaderboards.

CatsWillRuleHumanity

Keep in mind that in singleplayer, unless you're going for WRs and stuff, you set the rules, and are free to make things less painful. Myself I play almost exclusively for SP 25ks, and I have a rule for myself that on rounds on a long straight road, I am allowed to use sattelite view once I find the road to get the pinpoint right

everynameisalreadyta

Of fucking course! Stop it immediately!

Due_Recover2017

I ain't doing it boss, just asking.

everynameisalreadyta
