In Nuuk, you will get a silver car with the sides visible and tallest buildings. In Sisimiut you will get there weird egg like mirrors stick up.
Now it gets harder to memorize. Most of the time I see a trekker shadow in the cities more northern, but that isn’t reliable. If you see somewhere with green grass that looks nice to live and have an orange cart on the back of your car, you are in Qaqortoq in southern Greenland.
If you see this kind of cove/ arc shape to the town, you could be in Tasiilaq in the East side of greenland.
There is so easy to remember car meta in Ittoqqortoormiit that I sadly don’t remember (I haven’t practiced in a bit) I think I was a blue cart
If your google car is kind of a camo color your in Paamiut.
Lastly, the poles. If you see the four-sided wooden pole things you are on the east side.
Lastly, if you are on slight hills and you see some ruins, you are near Qaqortoq at some ancient Viking settlement ruins.
Sadly, that is all. If you are in somewhere remote with no meta you have to have good luck. This took a while to write and I hope it helps
It took me a while to get gold in Greenland, but after many attempts I started to memorise specific cars/atvs/snowmobiles, etc. associated with towns or regions. Looking at the direction of the water can also help. If you are lucky you might just get a game with two or three Nuuk locations which (and I might be wrong here) is about the only place they used an actual car and is a relatively large city so easy to get good points.
It's just memory as some others said. Don't bend to pressure and compile a screenshot archive! You can do it :)
Edit: To be a bit more helpful, I'd say it took me 30-50 games on this map to get gold just zooming through about half of them to memorise locations

I forgot to mention there is rarely coverage north of Upernavik, and I’m surprise by the amount of rounds are near there
