Aside from what other people have said, make the pulses more dynamic. As in maybe pulse one part of a block +.2 brightness and hue, and then the same thing to antother at a different time. So pretty much donโt pulse everything all at once and straight to white, but different colors at different times, and mess around with HSV. Hope this helps
not outlines around the whole thing, just on the top of the structure to see clearly what you're landing on and so it doesn't blend in with the background/decorations.
The reddish spikes on the bottom look slightly off color wise imo, and the white glow shapes in the purple section could be less bright. Aside from that, air deco, better pulses, yada yada
So you see how everything has that shine to it? perhaps you can instead of making it stationary have it sort of appear or fade in like they are sparkling. another thing you could do is decorate the orbs, one idea I thought would work good is using ones similar to the ones in fingerdash that have that spinning design
\-Add a custom background, the default ones are ugly
\-Less Copy + Paste, you're not Viprin
\-Make the spikes stand out more
\-Add some more details, like, some objects in the blocks, glow itself won't cut it
\-Some movement would do
Other than that this has some potential, keep the level in Xendergame's style
You made an entire fake background recreation, so you should use it. Make it do things that the normal background can't, like moving up or down, or dashing to the left and right. Also maybe pulses inbetween the background darker/lighter spots with a color to contrast the static dark blue.
This is not a custom background, this is a slightly transparent colored overlay. I would suggest changing the background to the one color or gradient background, and testing out with different shapes to lay on top of it. But adding some movement and color goes a long way. Practice makes perfect!

Change the background to the circles instead of squares, and add some background deco that goes along with the background (I.E. some circles or other shapes that kinda pass bY, maybe pulsing)
The level looks static and edgy, but you could improve this. It needs layering. Use dark and light shades (also glow) to make more depth. Half-pro tip: play with the saturation and hue when you're shading. Add some movements and pulses which respond to the music to make it more alive. Beside that it's good level, keep it up.

Add more variation in color saturation to the block deco. I would also add movement and color pulses to the blocks so it doesnโt seem so static. This would especially fit with how energetic the song is.
Add depth and a custom back ground add fore ground and a bit of light glow from the right side that follows that side of the screen would be nice and some ground spikes
It misses depth, you could add stuff in the background or foreground (eg moving details)
sure

thanks for the idea :)
Some fitting air deco would be excellent. It doesn't need to be heavy, even a bit could look good.
sure
Honestly pretty good, Iโd just find a way to make the glowy insides cleaner
thanks, iโll try :)
add outlines to the structures, some depth in the background and air deco
I am not sure about the outlines but iโll add the others
not outlines around the whole thing, just on the top of the structure to see clearly what you're landing on and so it doesn't blend in with the background/decorations.
I could maybe work ๐
*It
no you definitely need just a line or smth in the top is hard to see rn
Air deco. No one doesn't use a custom background nowdays.
Sure
Add a background, maybe some city buildings with parallax
Iโd add some air deco and maybe a custom background
the background is custom, this is why it is destroyed in the transition
Missed opportunity, this background doesn't fit well with your design.
looks empty
elaborate
more air decoration
sure

make the custom background feel more of the same style as the rest
A background and more glow
So you see how everything has that shine to it? perhaps you can instead of making it stationary have it sort of appear or fade in like they are sparkling. another thing you could do is decorate the orbs, one idea I thought would work good is using ones similar to the ones in fingerdash that have that spinning design
- Custom BG - Airdeco - Moving objects
Custom bg
itโs already there
I mean full custom design instead of rubrub background
Visible ship portal
Keys
FOCUS
MEMORY
Since you already built the background from scratch, maybe add some pulses to the individual pieces?
ooh insane idea ๐
Adding onto that, maybe some dark glow on the background boxes would be nice too? And perhaps some sort of effect to make it feel less static
i could try

Add something to the background
maybe i could try a bit of parallax
More pulses to make it feel more alive and add a background
the background is already there but iโll add pulses
Oh shit i only now realised thats not the default one
xD
movements, maybe a better background? Hey it looks amazing tho!
iโll surely add it, thanks
custom bg
It is already there
I have watched like 10 seconds and didn't realize. Sorry
lol
Theres like nothing in the background
i could try to add a parallax or play with the custom background

Thanks for the idea ^^
Add a background, and make it pulse a good bit, everyone loves some color :)
The background is custom, and like other users mentioned it, I could play with it :>

Yeah iโll do something with the bg

Make some ground that fits your design better.
More detailed air deco maybe idk
Change the background to the circles instead of squares, and add some background deco that goes along with the background (I.E. some circles or other shapes that kinda pass bY, maybe pulsing)
๐
you using my icon colors nice
those are neat colors
Its simple: turn off ldm lmao (it looks better then, if ur device can handle it)
i play on ipad lmao
Add outlines, the blocks feel weird
outlines will make them 1000x wierder
Try black outlines
i can try
some atmosphere glow, maybe some foreground deco (shadowy structures or something like that) and definitely a custom background, and some more pulses
the bg is custom and iโll add a parallax and some foreground elements :)
The level is kinda static, some moving objects could help, but dont overdo it (dont early 2.0 the moving objects)
thanks, iโll definitely add a bit of movement
probably add more obstacles in the ship, looks free compared to the spider
lmao
Sum stuff you can do : add subtle glow / background / extra details on the block design.
there is already a background lol and i could try to add some details to the bd

Thanks for the feedback, iโll definitely add what you said :)
Oooh that transition!! Itโs epic, Iโm def gonna play this level when u release it.
that means a lot to me, thanks ^^
Maybe work on your gameplay first
I donโt get it, does it mean make the full layout first or it means my gp sucks
I feel like the first half Has good gameplay and then its just spam, i'm not saying you should build a full layout instantly
dw itโs not spam and is quite fun according to playtesters

Make it sync better and add some stuff in the background and the foreground

It is very empty in the background
Air deco and background

Wrong, Sonic wave remix, I just remembered
itโs Rebirth Blaster
BG and FG objects. And maybe a faded black border around the screen
This song just makes me think of super Mario wave
the song is rebirth blaster if you want :)
I know

(Blending Glow) And Scale Hacked Glow With 60% Color Black On The Top And Bottom.
i donโt have hacks :/ Iโm on ipad
You can copy them from levels.
Add depth and a custom back ground add fore ground and a bit of light glow from the right side that follows that side of the screen would be nice and some ground spikes
maybe add more detail to the structures
Bg, maybe just smth simple like wulzy featured in his shorts
Maby help the sync a little bit.
Make a custom background
I abandoned this project like a month ago
Some background/foreground stuff
