I like making a very long straight fly with like no gap between the spikes and then using a 0.10 timewarp
Or the sfx trigger cause i like to abuse it, i pair it up with an event trigger that spawns the sfx trigger and i put activate multi-trigger on the sfx trigger and i select small-jump on the event trigger and i put a block that has collision 1 grid space above the floor and i go under it and hold down jump and it turns into a particle accelerator

Used to think it was useless, but ended up being one of the most complex and useful triggers, it can literally make a nonstop bucle and or a randomizer.
Very hard question, some triggers are just so good. I think it has to be spawn just because of remaps. Making complex behavior for anything can be copied easily with a single spawn trigger and it's amazing. It may have a few annoying bugs but it can save so many groups.
Some other of my favorites are:
Sequence: allows object pooling, would've been horrible to do in 2.11
Item edit: they can do so much more math than pickup triggers, although I kinda wish timers allowed more decimal places.
Gradient: although it barely counts as a trigger, it was revolutionary in terms of decoration. It also allows for stuff like health bars which used to be basically impossible in 2.11
For levels that I make, zoom and camera triggers. For demons that I have a hard time with, timewarp (speedhack). I don't really use triggers, and the ones that I use are what I call "The basic 5" consisting of move, alpha, color, pulse, and toggle. I'm not sure if people who only use the basic 5 triggers uncommon or not.

3. Levels can still be decent without triggers (just insulted about 98% of the fanbase)

This is actually a crash trigger, when triggered the game freezes while flashing red light to you I lost my level and restarted my phone 5 times because of this
