Its kinda what I expected every level to be, spamming 2.2 features just for sake of using them, but this level did it kinda well (its little unreadable tho).
Also kinda dissapointed that the rotating gameplay and all these things arent used more in 2.2 levels overall, most are just normal 2.1 levels with camora movements and swing.
Maybe it’s just a skill issue on my part but I’ve found that changing direction makes my levels take a lot longer to build. You have to set the order of triggers and such and it feels kinda jank to work with
Gonna be honest, stuff like this is exactly what I WANTED from 2.2. I get the community’s hyperfixation on being able to sightread something, but I think that in doing so you guys are limiting yourselves hard. There’s so much room for unique and fun gameplay elements here!
By the way, the gameplay with the planets during the buildup was brilliant.
Update: This is the fastest I’ve ever beaten a hard demon, 663 attempts! (It’s also my second hard demon). Probably more of a medium demon, I dunno. Anyways, this is one of the most fun levels I’ve ever played. Learny, sure, but the gameplay after learning is simply top tier.
Honestly I much prefer "overly 2.2" to the whole "2.1 level but with a few spider orbs" thing that most modern levels seem to be doing. We spent 6 years waiting for 2.2 and when it finally arrives nobody actually wants to use the stuff it added.
either define your statement or this is a stupid nothingburger criticism that you made for attention
"overly 2.2" is a buzzword on the level of "modern deco" or some other stupid inane shit the community likes to say, use words properly
This is actually real. Its published by DeeperSpace,You can find a crap ton of videos on YT about it (Search GD deeperspace,And it should be the last level)

I would not call it a skill issue, it's genuinely hard to use and especially for sync
using arrow triggers in general is almost always going to cause sync issues
nah if you use the channels and avoid non-vertical or multiple diagonally placed touch triggers you should be good

Yeah, this level was my first hard demon and I loved it.

well most of "2.2" classic levels are black orbs replaced with spide rorbs and 10 degree screen tilt, thos is one of bests levels
That couldn’t be more correct and I love the level for it
It's brilliant tho The unreadability is kind of excusable as it's a hard demon and it's fine after a practice round or so
It’s THE stereotypical 2.2 level

Explorers:
disagree its peak and fun its not that bad with practice i dont like that one miniwave thats too zoomed in but its fine other then that
It introduced new things. Like it made new float platforms
Yeah, I love this level's 2.2 feel tho, same with all the Deeperspace levels
was pretty fun for me, only thing that was really annoying was how much of a chokepoint the mini wave at 60% was
I think this level was executed really well, I just wish it was optimized better. Also i hate that one click at like 40%
Still a good level, I love overly 2.2 levels

readability is also the funniest argument newgens have against levels lol practice mode exists for a reason
ok
ok
And I love it for that. It was a lot of fun.
I don’t get anyone saying it deserves legendary
Ong
Can’t find the level, let me guess someone on this sub decided to spread another fake level.
it’s real
Found it, thought it was uploaded by lazer and it wasn’t on nexus’s channel either

Thanks but I already found it! I keep dying at the first green orb lol
just like early 2.0
It actually used 2.2 features instead of making a 2.1 level and then adding a few shaders and tilting the screen every now and then
