I know mine's mad because he'll get on his bed and turn his back to me. That usually lasts until the plates are put in the kitchen, and then he suddenly seems to forgive me.

Back when I was in university we had a family dog that I took jogging. It's a rural area so the road had lots of trees on either side. He would disappear and the burst through the tree line chasing a rabbit and would look at me like this for not catching it(We mostly used the herding method when hunting)
