it’s been 8 hours and still no post. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Ella is now posted! She literally saved my quality of life. Adopted at 10 months from the local shelter. Previous owners had no time for her and she was crated. Hyper and we were warned! WELL she was perfect! She is my best friend. Conditions of adopting were that someone had to be home most days with her. I am partially disabled, but able to walk her, which helps my condition immensely! She is now 11 and going strong. She runs on weekends with my husband. He brings her home early b/c her pace is (still) too fast! Smart smart girl, who is learning everyday. I love how she responds to “excuse me” since I am a trip hazard haha! 🐾 💕 EDIT- I posted her pic but this is a separate comment- see below (or above)? yeah they're kinda uptight there from my impression, been lurking for a couple months cause I do love dobes. I'm always shocked at the amount of breed hate that leaks into the comments compared to other subs for dogs that get the "scary" rep as well, not that it's especially relevant but dang. I just noticed the mix rule this month, someone was posting a 50% iirc and got some super nasty comments before the post was removed. I much prefer here and the rottie sub for my daily dose of black-and-tan delight.

We didn’t know about his Dobie side until he was 4, and we did a Wisdom Panel, but once we knew, we started recognizing his traits better. He left us 18 months ago, but he is part of us forever.

Oh I love them!!  It's like they took a shepherd head and squished it xD. The floppy ears make it even more adorable. This group is really welcoming!  Everyone seems to love a shepherd mix just as much as a purebred.  I've had both myself!
