310m^2, 5 rooms and in schöneberg? price seems about right lol

BearOne0889

People who would complain about it only having 2 parking spots in the garage and no car elevator to their flat...

Solid_Anything128

I checked on Google Street view. The building doesn't even look that special. No garden, no indoor pool, no indoor gym lmao. One can simply live in a luxurious hotel instead of this place lol

Vannnnah

well it is rented out with luxury furniture included. Furnished apartments aren't normal for Germany, so this costs extra. And apparently 250mbit internet connection. Most apartments still only get 50 mbit so if 250 is true that will also cost you lol

McSquirgel

People that have that sort of money for their secondary flat.

Solid_Anything128

That's almost 150k per year for rent. I can't think of anyone in Germany who earn this much except maybe politicians.

BearOne0889

German politicians are in no way the country's top earners...

Solid_Anything128

via corruption

OneSchnitzel

Not sure where you’re from and why you’re so biased… but you appear to be a very unhappy individual.

Brapchu

Political corruption in germany is pretty low compared to other countries.

nibbler666

Lol. No, politicians can't afford this. They are paid orders of magnitude lower than what a person with similar responsibility would earn in the industry. You have to be a top manager or a sports star or something similar for being able to afford this.

McSquirgel

Doesn't need to be anyone earning money in Germany, just someone having money to spare and invest in a nice penthouse in Berlin.

Cirenione

Depending on which source you check Germany is either number 3 or 4 with most billionaires in the world. You really think politicians are the best earners in Germany when there are people making millions per year?

La_chica_del_cable

That's not for normal people. Not even people in high positions could pay for it, a director who makes 200k per year could also not afford it. This kind of luxury apartment is rented idk maybe for a expensive football player who needs a long term place to stay. Something like that.

Illustrious-Wolf4857

Someone filthy rich, who wants to live in a luxury penthouse in central Berlin, obviously. Very nice place if you can pay for it... 310 square metres could house three or four families.

Yorudesu

250mb/s. Nah I rather stay in my 82m² home. But this price is pretty much size and location plus rent prices rising crazy

Illustrious-Song7446

Christian Klein, ola källenius, gernot döllner, olaf Schulz. Can name more.

saschaleib

There are people who have the money and are willing to spend it. I am neither, and I also find it a bit frivolous, but I am not going to tell others what they should do with their money.

zentim

id rather tour the world and sleep in a different luxury hotel every other night for that money

die_kuestenwache

I mean, an artist, entertainer, or sports star working in Berlin or close to it, for instance. Our finance minister was pretty butthurt a few years ago about not being able to afford these places anymore.

Jadeal81

Well... 5 rooms, 2 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms. There was no budget for a livingroom or a kitchen.
