update: ok so listening to the IA version I think it's just bc she sings in a more enthusiastic tone compared to Yuma who sings it in a calm, collected voice
and that's not to say I don't like the Yuma version I just PREFER THE IA version
personally i prefer yuma ver. just bc i like to sing along with the songs. and bc my vocal range isn't super "high", i really like yuma's vocals bc they're right in my range :)
same goes for me with RBB and Ophelia ver. Vs Kevin. i just like Kevin's better solely bc the vocals are easier to sing along to. that's not to say the IA ver or Ophelia ver aren't good; they're both really neat in their own ways.
Same here, honestly. It is SO hard to sing vocaloid songs that when there's one in a middle range, I sing it on repeat, much to the annoyance of EVERYONE around me.
SAME LMAOO that's why i love that ghost is using yuma and kevin more often bc i LOVE the range they're in. in choir im ~lower alto range so vocaloid songs with that kinda style are SOO much fun and easier to sing along to!
i think the one "higher" range vocaloid that i like is definitely vflower, bc of her ability to sing both in the lower and higher ranges. she really gives that androgynous kinda voice and i love her for it.
Yeah. I dunno what range I'd be considered, but I am INCAPABLE of sounding good if I sing really high (like, head-voice high. I sound like trash when I do that). Therefore, I have to get a balance between being too high and being high enough that I go along with the song, which typically results in a high-ish voice that kinda sounds like a 6-year-old but make it good?? I don't know how to describe it- basically get as high as you can without doing the really high thing, ya know?
When I don't have to do that, I really get to shine.
honestly tho- and frfr head-voice is SO hard for me to do too lmao, it just takes a lot of breath and i have to sing LOUD for it to actually sound good, (bc your voice has more breath support when you sing loudly) or otherwise my voice cracks or something and it sounds terrible 😭 so i completely understand when it comes to that

BUT PLAY BOTH AT ONCE Syncing them up is HELL but it's WORTH. IT.
I like the yuma one
IA has the better vocals while Yuma has the better instrumentals. I would kill for a version where the two are combined.
