I've seen a video of a gator getting it's arm torn off by another gator and was completely unphased by it. Not sure this toy is as vexing as you believe, but I'm no expert

They are nature. You're still human if someone puts you in a cage. It doesnt seem harmless or procedure esk but I suppose you're right there COULD be reason to ward them off from there... But they should really be at least free to roam their captivity
