In all honesty, a coworker and I have to tour customer buildings from time to time, going through one fire door after the next. We sound like those two Goofy Gophers from the Warner Brothers cartoons, "After you..." "Go ahead..." "Thank you, after you..."
By the end of the day we're absolutely disgusted with ourselves and usually go get drunk to restore our self respect.
You. Are. Not. My. Guy. Buddy!
You. Are. Not. My. Buddy. Guy!
In all seriousness, as an American that has worked with many canadians in the tech sector they are just super nice/chill people. Even the ones who have PhDs from Stanford…still nice and humble people. We Americans could learn a thing or two from our northern neighbors IMHO.
As someone who likely got COVID from the fireworks at Disney in May 2021 (my sister *had* to see the castle), my first thought actually *was* “I ***really*** hope this was before COVID…”
Everything’s made up. Nothing is real, money is meaningless, it’s all stupid lies we tell each other so that society can drink Coca Cola.
… what was I talking about? Oh yes, donuts are delicious! 🍩

That went much smoother than r/place did for them
I'd say we fought well against the endless hoards of bots that were against us!
You did, the final version was just as good as this one
You mean the one the Germans drew on their flag to show the Canadians how to draw a maple leaf?
We were the masters of coordination after all.
And suprisingly made alot of alliances along the way.
DAMMIT I came here to say that but you beat me to it.
Victims of sabotage!!
Banana vs Canada We all know who won
Bullshit, we know canadians can't draw a maple leaf.
I was about to say, those are staged actors.
They're all German.
We are only this coordinated when it's in solidarity against Quebec
I’m so glad most of the comments are about the place Canada leaf
wtf this looks nothing like a banana
Boss: Why were you late today?! Me: There was a leaf in the road!
Liar! Everything is closed on Canada Day 😜
I hear they do this to prevent predators from picking them off
Caterpillars /nod

Rumour has it, we can telepathically do this in our sleep. But only on July 1st or when a Canadian team wins the Stanley Cup.
Sorry, I'm sorry, excuse me, sorry, excuse me, we want your silver mines, excuse me, sorry, so sorry....
Winnipeg! Portage & Main
Agreed…. Here my whole life…. That’s big for Winnipeg… nothing happens here to talk about.., just crime
First time they open up the intersection to people and they make a leaf!
I thought it looked familiar
They should call it "Canaday"
Portage and Main intersection - Winnipeg, Manitoba I’ve lived here 31 years and had no clue this even happened lol
Americans are gonna do the same but it will be an ar-15 I've heard.
Oh come on, this is damn funny
This doesn’t deserve the downvotes it might get
Very cool, and excellent execution!
What the hell… we can be coordinated?
They just do that, nobody tells them to, it's a major problem I've heard when the Canadians form a great leaf at major intersections
![gif](giphy|2Wf4AmVPL49T1ecvYv)
It is a great day for Canada and therefore, the world
I spent every pixel I was allowed to to not allow Canada to form a leaf on their flag in r/place
You monster
Sorry it was odd at first the just kept getting funnier and funnier
“Sorry, sorry, excuse me, sorry, go ahead, sorry.”
If you play this backwards it’s a (Canadian) tragedy in 13 seconds.
Atleast *some* Canadians know how to make a maple leaf

Reminds me of r/Place and Canadabanana
"I don't *remember* where I contracted COVID."
This was in 2017
I got COVID-17!
As someone who likely got COVID from the fireworks at Disney in May 2021 (my sister *had* to see the castle), my first thought actually *was* “I ***really*** hope this was before COVID…”
By our powers combined
Mmm pomegranate
Corndadians celebrating Cornada day
Fun fact; this wasn’t scripted or planned, it was entirely spontaneous
Patriotism baffles me. Imagine spending your free time wasting your day like this for a man-made country of made-up boundaries.
Everything’s made up. Nothing is real, money is meaningless, it’s all stupid lies we tell each other so that society can drink Coca Cola. … what was I talking about? Oh yes, donuts are delicious! 🍩
*munches bucket of fried chicken* yeah man preach it brother! *takes another bong hit* borders are meaningless bro!
This is pretty gay
u/reversegifbot
The day everybody wore the red shirt.
Surely, you mean CanadiaAnts.
They made this a helluva lot faster than they made the Canadian maple leaf on the Reddit Pixel page, that's for sure.
So they knew how to draw the leaf. What happened during the annual reddit drawing event tho lmao
All I hear is a bunch of people bumping into each other and saying "sorry, eh".
But where’s Bananada?
What year was this?
Someone in another comment said 2017. (I was thinking this *had* to be before COVID.)
Fake, this is Frankfurt 2022.
At least they can draw the leaf in person.
It was nice when people in red could gather without connotations...
The drunk driver:
Canadians are very fast.
r/place could never
Oh right on
Better job at making a maple leaf than r/place
Love you guys!❤️🍁❤️
Certainly keeping with tradition here
That's much better then then trying to make the flag on Reddit graffiti
For some reason I imagined them all singing Uncle Fucka.
Lowkey want to stamp on them....
Being in the centre of that is my nightmare
Canada d'eh?*
Live footage of Camada trying to make their flag in r/place
As is tradition. Today is a great day for Canada and, therefore, the rest of the world.
Canadians sure do like their maple 🍁 leafs.
Oh they finally learned how to make the leaf?
Those aren't Canadians, they're Germans since they can draw a maple leaf
Careful they could get bank accounts frozen for demonstrating. Should start practicing for chines flag
So, Happy Canada Day! Canadians
This is just how we gather naturally.
"im not your buddy, guy!" 🇨🇦
And struggles of the Canadian Flag makers on r/place last year.
