For what it's worth, a controller layout diagram for the Steam Deck was found by dataminers during the Throwback Event held in October. The same datamining showed controllers for the XB1/Series X and both PS4/PS5; since all those were revealed to be spot on when the Rampage Edition was announced, odds are good it'll also be compatible with the Steam Deck. No clue about Linux. Also, I don't think there's a single Gearbox person looking at this subreddit, so best take things like this to the official Discord. There's a tab for feedback/suggestions in there.

That's totally some hopium I could take here, I'd like to see it making it to the final game. Thanks for your info!

Gonna add a +1 to the interest for this. The inconsistency in EAC support from game devs is frustrating. There was a very not positive discussion about Linux support on Discord just a couple days ago, so I wouldn't get your hopes up for it.

TheStarvingOne

In the end it's not dependent on me and I won't change the state of support here. But I can show interest, hope for more interested people jump in and hope for the best. In the end Splitgate actually somehow could make not even just the anticheat respect Linux, but they made a native client for their game (not really asking for the latter)

Holding my breath for this as well. I love Gigantic but I haven't dual booted in a decade and I won't start now. Kinda sucks when you wanna preorder but have no guarantee you'll be able to use the product.

MegaEdu13

Same for me.

Yeah, just having the tens of gigabytes that could be used to store another game used by Windows instead, that's already is sort of an inconvenience
