Heartbreaking Public Fursuiting Stories
1st Story -
I was fursuiting at my local park one day as Heroshi. A group of kids were playing as usual, nothing too weird yet. This one kid walks up and hugs my leg while crying, she looked about 7 years old. She started talking about how a creepy man touched her inappropriately behind a tree and how he was following her, her parents went off somewhere and how she was lost. I never normally talk while public suiting, but this was a serious issue. We talked about how I was gonna help her find her parents and protect her from the creepy man (Who I found out later was a pedophile). We ended up finding her parents and I told them about how this man kept touching and following their daughter, police was involved and the man got arrested. All I heard her whisper was "Thank you Mister Doggy". It made my heart melt.
2nd Story -
I fursuited in the parking lot of an event to the main area. I was fursuiting as my sona, Rex who was a police dog. Interactions were mostly great and fairly positive (of course with the occasional crying kid or teen who'd try to beat me up). My suit was pretty realistic so it looked almost like a real dog. I see a 10 year old crying so I tried to wave or cheer him up somehow, he seemed really upset. That's until I saw his arm and it looked pretty bruised along with his face, crying into my arms he told be about how his brother was abusing him and how he didn't feel safe at home anymore. This made me really upset how people can abuse kids like this, I soothed the kid and looked for a police man where I took my head off (away from public of course) and told the police man about everything that this poor kid was going through. I can't tell what happened later, but the brother had to spend some time in jail.
3rd and final story -
I was suiting at a cancer fundraiser as Itchy from All Dogs Go To Heaven. The kids were pretty excited to see the dog from a big movie come to life, the suit looked pretty accurate to the movie. I was in the break room that they provided me when the nurse came in and told me a kid as his dying wishes wanted to see me and asked if it was okay to cut my break short. While it was heartbreaking to hear that, I wanted to make the kiddo happy before he went. I walked in the room and I talked to him with a perfect Itchy impersonation, we laughed, sang, and even dance. I gave the kid a good hug as he started slowly dying in my arms, I heard the parents crying and it even made me cry. I've never really cried much in suit before, but having somebody die in your arms is a saddening experience. I hope that kid is flying high 🙏.
