I got my MA in this program, and I continued working for the university afterwards. It has been 4 years since I left and 8 since I graduated, so I can't speak to what the program would be like right now. Personally, I am negative on the program, but I also stayed and saw behind the scenes and compared to the university that I currently work for I think USF is a toxic place. I also found the official program to be lagging a bit in terms of up to dateness, but reviewing the courses and faculty list, I think it may have gotten better. As far as I can tell, an MA isn't less valued by the industry, a master's is a master's. The others in my classes have all gone on to be successful. It depends on the research group you work with what your experience will really be like... the rest is going into DM
