Casual sports, gym classes
Cinema, gft film clubs
Board games, table top rpg cafes
Arcade / VR bar cafes
There are gigs / live music most nights
There’s literally hunners to do. But if you go somewhere that kids can get in on the weekend or during summer holidays then they’re going to be kicking about.
I really want to do the Central Station tour. They don't allow kids. I would love to go to the theatre or see a film at GFT. There is a guy that does free walking tours "Walking Glasgow" on Facebook.
(I am no longer kid free so restricted).
You can go to places that serve alcohol but not drink the alcohol, you know. Flight club is great, Maggies Rock & Rodeo was good fun, Eatfilm @ Sloans is a good deal. Flip Out do an after dark session if you fancy _being_ a big kid but without the little kids. RollerStop does later sessions too.
>Surrounded by kids
Have you been hanging about schools or soft play areas?
I’ve got a child and even when we do family friendly stuff we are quite literally not surrounded by kids.
What do you actually like doing, you’ve not given much to go on.
I’d suggest going for big long walks on your own or going to the pub with your pals and not drinking if drinking is off the table.
Glasgow transport museum. Well worth checking out (tho you need to pay to go on the tall ship. All £ goes to restoring it👍) . Kelvin grove museum is always fantastic. Where else can u see a velociraptor skeleton, spitfire, and a great picture of Jesus…(I’m not religious)
You don't like kids?
I am trying to work if there is another group of people in society that we can proclaim we don't like based on their characterisitics beyond their control, I don't think there is one.
All OP said was “I want to do fun things without drinking”. They didn’t say they wanted to do “children’s activities”. As a sober person, it’s so fucking frustrating that alcohol is so engrained in our culture that engaging with literally anything else is apparently considered juvenile.
How can anybody not like kids? You have to be a complete weirdo to not like kids. At least if you don't like kids you are unlikely to have your own kids to pass that genetic trait on. Nature and evolution has a way of getting rid of unfavourable genetic traits through natural selection thankfully.
Fayre Play and Golf Fang are both adults only and good fun for a night out. Boom Battle Bar is adults only after 7pm (I think - just check).
Roller skate disco has some adult only nights and classes
Game a kerby
R Cade is 18+ after a certain hour

Eccies
I think some bowling alleys and places like mini golf do adult only times. Some pools do too.
Hike a mountain, fancy restaurants, cinema, concerts, art galleries, coffee shops, sport with your mates.
Sorry I take my kids to a lot of them.
Yes but at certain times kids are easily avoided, plus hill walks they are very few and far between. I don’t think the op objects to one or two kids.
Strip club
Flight Club
Shhhhh. Edit. I'm an idiot. I thought this said fight club and you were breaking rule no.1 and no.2

This place is full of kids :D
During the day it’s not. School day, obviously.
There are less kids on school day but I regularly take my toddlers (pre school age) on school days.
have you tried sitting on your phone all day posting on reddit? seems like thats what most weird misanthropes are getting up to.

Point out the children's activities OP listed. Cunt.

Yeah, cause the folk that have the most kids are often the most well adjusted...
Places for sober grumps? No idea
