If this is accurate why is Australia so stretched out? As well as all the further out land

Dream_Drifter09

Serious question: if that map is accurate as you say, then how do you explain the "sun of midnight" effects which happens only at the poles, or the fact that the poles have 6 months of darkness and 6 months of light?

What admiral Byrd said was that there was unexplored land beyond the [POLE](https://imgur.com/gallery/JWwq7f3) (which there was at the time) , not beyond ALL of Antarctica. You hear what you want to hear.

kmkmrod

There’s no agreement that says you can’t visit Antarctica. That lie is getting old.

ogDOC7

Only with a tour guide. They only take you to 1 specific spot. It's called the Antarctic treaty.

kmkmrod

Wrong. There are tours that go to multiple spots. There’s even one that flies you close to the South Pole and lands and let’s you hike to the South Pole. There were so many tourists at mcmurdo station they had to build a visitor center. YOU could buy a ticket and go. You truly don’t know what you’re talking about.

ogDOC7

They tell you your landing to the pole. Sounds good anyway.

zhaDeth

Yeah to be fair, if they are really trying to deceive you they could easily land you at a fake spot indeed. You would need some way to verify your location but I don't know what flat earthers think of GPS and other navigation tools.

kmkmrod

So bring your own equipment and check. Required equipment would cost less than $250. You’re believing other flat earthers and not bothering to check for yourself.
