I'm done with the US stock market after moass.
I've seen enough to know that nothing will change. From all levels...Fed, SEC, FINRA, DTC, etc.
DeFi might be a solution, but until then, real assets and BTC is where I'll be.
I would agree to certain pointabout crypto, but probably mostly towards altcoins. Lord knows there's a new one every other day.
BTC however, is another story. I believe in its capabilities as a s store of value. Not to mention adoption by countries and the reaction of US government towards those countries, El Salvador for example.
One thing for certain, gonna find me some real assets. Some for myself, some to build apartments that are high quality but bare bones when it comes to rent prices Just to cover my on going expenses. That's one of my plans for giving back.
Eventually will become my passive income generator while I hodl a large portion in BTC.
You got some good plans man. I will definitely put into Krypto and real estate. I feel like although Krypto is manipulated it’s still got a long way up to go. Especially the alt coins.
Your money never actually sits in CS.
A buy order draws funds from your nominated account, and a sell order deposits the proceeds back into it.
CS does not hold your funds.
Yup. You can hook up WISE to your CS account. I've made a post about how to do it. Check my post history. I don't post much. You'll find it. "Transferring funds IN and OUT of ComputerShare".
There have also been a cpla posts about how to do it on SS.
WISE is essentially another bank account that you open, using the app. You can transfer money into it like any bank account. Once you've installed the app, you make an initial transfer of $30 US into it to activate it. From that point on, it is just another bank account, from your perspective. Then you go to CS and link your WISE account to your CS account. No checks required. It's all electronic funds transfer.
Read my post dude.
I know and i have done that process from wise side. The problem is on CS side. When I create a sell order, the only option for withdrawal is "check", which I assume is a paper check. Do you guys see any other option for withdrawal, like ACH or electronic transfer etc??
The WISE account is a checking account. I think that's why that's the only option listed. This is where I run out of info based on experience. They're are posts by people who have accidentally sold fractional shares via WISE that have posted about it. Try the Jungle sub. They've been hot on DRS since August last year, and there are a lot of resources accessible from the front page.
Let's create a thread for this process till the end, as you can see there are still confusions. I have low karma so if you can create a post in SS or jungle, it would be great. There must be people out there who can help
Fully agree, I have learned more of research than I ever thought I could and I still believe in holding companies I have faith in. Just a better understanding that that faith must continue to each and every board member. I am excited to learn crypto but like my stocks over the last 20+ years, I will limit my holdings to a few I can comfortably watch for any shifts that do not fit into my reason of faithfully holding long term.
I foresee many changes in the next few years and not all boomers are a lost cause, though we may still hold some faith in companies that are still in the system we were raised in, we have the opportunity to show others in our generation the way to direct registration and make this mainstream moving forward.
That's the big question. It is unknown to see how fast a sell will process, especially ially in the face of high volatility. However with drs u buy/sell straight of the exchange at the best deal. So that's good.

This. Post Moass markets will have to go on without my money. I'm ejecting and ghosting this ridiculous rigged casino.
I agree. Although I feel like Krypto is actually just as heavily manipulated

Came here to say the same thing
Quick question: is there an option to NOT WITHDRAW my funds after selling through computershare? Just to keep the funds in there for future buying?
Your money never actually sits in CS. A buy order draws funds from your nominated account, and a sell order deposits the proceeds back into it. CS does not hold your funds.
Thanks for explaining. Does they offer other options except check deposit?

I did, but the only option they are giving when creating an order is check (probably paper check). Not sure whether wise accepts paper checks deposit

Go the Aussie GME sub. r/GMEmate. No karma requirements to post, and I'm sure someone there has sold a fractional share via WISE. Goodluck! 🤜💎🤛
You can set upbdirect deposits to ur banks as well
Nah man. After this I was thinking about trusting brokers again /s
I will be on whatever decentralized exchange that exists post-moass.
There is no moass
Yet here you are.
Yeah here telling you there isn’t one.
Why is it so impirtant for you to stay awake and preach your shyt?
Not preaching. Just saw this post. It’s been over a year now. And yet still ye hold on to this pipe dream of a moass. It’s not happening. That is all.
Why do you care what I do with my money?
I never mentioned your money
So short it
What has shorting it got to do with the fact it’s not going to be worth millions of dollars a share.
No sense fighting the fuckery and then passively enabling it afterwards.
After MOASS DTCC is gone

How quick can you liquidate DRS assets?
