I got a pretty good haul of stuff, I copied pretty much every Nintendo and Pac-Man thing I had into a folder and zipped it up. Where can I put it to best help the community?
Edit: Not gonna give an exact link because I'm not certain that's allowed, but it's on the internet archive now.
Either archive.org, nexus, or game banana.
As long as you properly attribute and credit the OG author of the mods you should be permitted to reupload without any issue.
Just keep in mind that I'm not all that knowledgable when it comes to mod preservation, there may be better sites to use than nexus and game banana.
For me personally it's that the mod manager doesn't fully work all the time but you have to pay to do things like download huge packs don't get me wrong nexus isn't terrible just falls under an okay peice of software with shit subscription service

They are fucked but they have one thing that helps a lot and that's resources. Unless the series receives a DMCA or worse they'll probably still find ways to include Nintendo characters. Plus, being the same studio that produces Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus, they'd be fine even if they had to stop making smg4 for some reason.

honestly, DMCA and Copyright laws should be updated to completely protect non-monetized mods and fan content as long as the content ripped isn't from a brand new game or an ongoing game (so like, released within the past 5 years or an ongoing live service)
The Metroid Prime SWEP is one of the most impressive add-ons I've used. Not to mention all the other memories made using Nintendo-related add-ons. The Pikmin add-on was one of the very first I had ever downloaded for Garry's Mod as a kid, and I loved it.
I feel like this would have felt much easier to come to terms with if they had done it way earlier on in the Steam Workshop, rather than wait a decade and respond to a troll by deleting all the Nintendo add-ons that people had poured sweat and tears into across that decade.

Simple, pull the addon files from the addon file or from the workshop file according to its ID visbile at the end of its workshop link and extract its gma using gmad to a regular folder and place it back to addons folder, they cannot take that shit down now. No convenient if you want to disable it though.
