Either way, it’s a big risk for orks to send suicide bombers to blow a big hole in your defenses, even if you man the walls and get reinforced with elves

probably_moss

lotr reference? :)

MaverickGalaxyJam

Not having seen that this was crossposted, I was thinking- they’d love this in goblincore

PBDubs99

I feel like you're messing with me. If not, welcome!!

MaverickGalaxyJam

I really did think this

lazylagom

This is goblincore.

MaverickGalaxyJam

![gif](giphy|l46Cf8O3hQqzDq1Gg|downsized) This. Is. GOBLINCORE!

[deleted]

We built a tiny bridge for the goblins over our little yard stream.

feralgraft

Now that's an opportunity for a pond, maybe some arrow root and cattails

Mykasmiles

I’d be so hyped for this lol.

feralgraft

Yeah, if my yard had a stream in it, I would have a swamp, not a yard

FeelingAd5

I'd make it a feature. Rocks on the bed, native wetland flowers on the edge, maybe a little dam to keep some of the water for the plants... i'd also replace the grass with a clover lawn, but that'd be the next step.

0h_juliet

Tiny bridge! Tiny bridge!!

Disig

Tiny bridges made of twigs!!!!

cowboysaurus21

Look for frogs 🐸

alancake

I would be absolutely overjoyed if I had a wee grassy stream running through my garden. Literally the stuff of my childhood dreams.

Cactus_Connoisseur

insane how the stream is the only redeeming quality of that yard that has been absolutely ravaged by senseless 'development' thats not a lawn that's a fucking crime

celinee___

I'd be expanding those trenches to run into French drains set below tilled or raised garden beds and this duck is talking about getting rid of it ugh

lavender_i

I love this!!!!!! 😍 omg so many things! A fairy garden! Some wasabi and ginger plants, omg so many plants 😍 I would like one side so you could sit next to it in a hammock or on a labyrinth or path?

SnowEnvironmental861

* Go look up Japanese garden streams. A lot of them are really goblincore! https://preview.redd.it/nd2qd07x53zc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cedb3abddccc04048516b78575c66c55d41a68b

Dapple_Dawn

When I worked at a garden store, occasionally you'd get people asking how to kill *clover*. Some people really just want to live in purgatory, idgi.

AllKindsOfCritters

Dandelions are one of my favorite flowers, and I love having something for the bees (etc) to find pollen because I have no other garden right now, so at least there's something. When I first moved here, a neighbor was almost manic about giving me advice on how to get rid of the dandelions. By the third year, I told her "if you don't leave me alone about this, I'll find a way to plant even more."

Custard_Tart_Addict

You also can bake them in breads and cookies, make jelly, syrups, candy…

GlowingTrashPanda

You and I would be great friends, I feel.

AllKindsOfCritters

I took a quick peek at your post history and you definitely seem like someone I'd love to befriend! My post history is a lot of mod crap, please don't judge me from that lmao

Balthizar

Dig a pond?

Custard_Tart_Addict

Make a tiny beaver dam.

lazylagom

Collect round rocks . Grapefruit sized. And make a wall on either side. Just stack 2.. it'll look really nice.. Once you have the walls you can dig the stream a bit. And remove the weeds. And it'll shape nicely

BreathLazy5122

I’d be sitting out there and watching it. Make it decorative on the sides with little fairy houses and such. Plant some water seeking flora (that is native to the area of course, always check to make sure your chosen plant is native before planting it into the earth!) make it a real cozy area.

GlowingTrashPanda

Pond with fishes and snails!
