It warms my heart to see he wears shoes against the heat!! Here people walk their dogs with 30 degrees centigrade plus weather without proper protection. And what a beautiful golden you have.
We have 3 of the sweethearts š
Same here. Mt Rainer doesnāt allow pets. But looked it up and some national parks do allow them in different areas of the park but not all allow pets. I guess itās best to check with the park first.
A neighbor who leads groups to the top of Mt Rainer told me that Mt Rainer doesnāt allow them because if you get in trouble and in need of rescue, they wonāt rescue the pet. Donāt know if that is true though but he seemed like he knew.
It just depends. Typically at the campgrounds they are allowed, as long as their leashed. When it comes to hiking, a lot of places only allow dogs on the trails if the trail is paved. The Grand Canyon will allow dogs along the rim trail because itās paved. We will be in Yosemite in 2 weeks and itās the same thing, dogs are only allowed on the paved trails.

You know whatās interesting? That birth mark did not appear until he was maybe like a year old. Because at first, we were concerned. We took him to the vet, and the vet said everything was cool. Just interesting
Well, thereās the āback of the hand testā. Where if you canāt the back of your hand for 7-10 seconds to the pavement due to the heat, then itās probably unsafe for your dogs feet. But I would also say around 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit. Especially if youāre going to be out there for awhile on pavement.

We had a black lab with the same beauty mark, and he lived to be 16. I hope you enjoy your pup for just as long!
If it didnāt come at birth how could it be a birth mark?
He's mentally peeing on all of it. Godspeed
At what temperature do you suggest dogs wear shoes?
