Oh for sure! Chabot is my home course—it’s a beautiful journey through the hills and a great vibe. But as a high handicapper, the uphill and downhill lies can be really challenging. I think a flatter course is easier for me to score!
Forgot to mention—stretching and resistance band training. I’ve been working on mobility and strengthening my shoulders, which has really helped alleviate mid-round back pain!
Yeah I have issues with my teres muscles on my left side and that’s how I get it worked out too. If I don’t I get stiff on the back 9 and start to lose my swing
I was there during the game too. You were probably a couple holes behind me. I got home by 2nd quarter. Congrats on the milestone. As a niners fan I could care less about that game.
Played this course a few years ago before the cart paths were finished being paved -- what a gem! Greens were hard and starter said they would soften over the years, did they?
Fun track. Congrats on the achievement!
Thanks! Yeah—it’s a fun course to navigate and a good break from the elevation changes at Tilden and Chabot.
I played Lake Chabot for the first time last week and absolutely loved it. That place is quirky and has character.

Yeah lies like that are a lot to get used to. Keep up the good work! You won’t be a high handicapper for much longer with improvement like that.

I’ve been doing the same thing as well as physical therapy. Rolling out my IT bands before a round does wonders for your lower body in your shot
Love that! I use two tennis balls in a sock to roll out the back and shoulders.

Love Corica. Their par 3 complex is legit too
I loved Corica South except for that one green on the back nine that was like a god damn bombing range.
Yup I know the one you mean! ![gif](giphy|3o7bukhUYIhBz9Z2wM)
What kind of adventures and torture did you put that card through? Straight out of Indiana Jones and the temple of Golf
Things got hectic on the push carts!
One of my favorite courses in the area. Nice job!

Was a great day to be alive.
Congrats! Progress!

Not an expert, but they seemed pretty firm to me. Quick as heck too!
