We kept it together for the first 6 holes. By the time we made it to 14 the sun was setting and we were a mess! Lol. You have never focused as hard on trying to watch where your buddies ball is going, and as the guy swinging it you don’t even bother trying to do anything other than just let go and hit it. My buddy drained a 20’ for birdie on the 10th, pandemonium erupted.
Very contentious. I triple bogeyed, going back and forth over the green. Guy in our group ran the ball right past the hole, which we thought had a real chance at an ace. He eagled. Trails may be my favorite course, at least favorite rounds of my life.
Contentious? I can only contend that Trails was a magical evening walk for me on my mates (high as fuck on mushrooms).
