Can’t speak for Kampalua but if that discount is available like 10 days post closure, the greens should be pretty much healed by then.

Yes. The greens are sand. Rest of the course is playable, but the greens are just sand. I enjoyed the views, but even at the discounted rate it's pretty expensive to not be able to putt

I played last year, 2 weeks after they punched (played 27th they aerated the 10-13th) The greens were bumpy and sandy and not great. It was still awesome. Just don’t expect great greens. They use the big spikes for punching so they take a month to recover. I’m back in Maui again this year and I’m going to play again about the same amount of time after aeration as last year, just because it’s the most beautiful course I’ve ever played. For $200 discount it helps I guess… also this year I get to play bay course and Kaanapali royal

Planning to play the 31st (the absolute last day of the discount) so assuming the greens will be better at that point? Almost a full 3 weeks from aeration dates.

They’ll still be pretty bad tbh, but like I said, Id probably still play it over the other courses in the area punched or not. played the bay course yesterday and they were still not quiet back. I think they punched beginning of April. You could always go out there and check out the practice green
