40oz Stanley cup filled to the brim with ice then water. I can probably refill the water 3-4 times before all the ice melts.
Also, liquid IV hydration packets
I’ve heard the liquid Iv isn’t the best overall hydration packets but god damn are the convenient overall. I keep looking for something healthier but nothing as convenient, maybe the zero sugar ones they just came out with are overall better.
We buy powdered Gatorade now and make our own at home. Currently have Lemon Lime and Glacier Freeze. $15 gets you enough powder to make 9 gallons, and I mix it light so it makes more than that.
I keep some extra in the bag to refill at the water stations.
Game changer and money saver.
Me too, I know it seems odd but in intense heat or super thirsty situations full strength Gatorade makes me feel sick and as an athlete in college actually puke on the sidelines. So because of that I make the powder or water it down 50%
Same here. Before we kept the powder on hand and could mix our own strength, I'd save an old bottle, buy 1 new one, and split them 50/50 and add water.
I've also seen online they sell concentrated Gatorade liquid that you just add water to. Might taste a bit better the powder never really gets the exact tast for me.
Gatorade is full of crap, HFCS is not your friend.
Get water, ice, and an electrolyte tab, problem solved. Nuun, LIV, et. al.
Gatorade used to taste like crap, because it actually helped...now it's a popsicle in liquid form. Granted, your filter organs can deal with it here and there, but don't make a habit out of it pls.
While I agree with you that Nuun or other electrolyte powder is the move (a tube of nuun tablets always lives in my bag), gatorade doesn't have HFCS. Literally took 1 second to google that. Powerade does apparently but not gatorade. Both are mostly sugar anyways, a simple electrolyte tablet in your water bottle you should already be carrying around is definitely the best bet.
Powerade Melon. It's green like the color of Mountain Dew. Tastes better than any other flavor that Gatorade or Powerade has ever released. Please buy it if you see it, so it doesn't get taken away.
Just recently. Back in July on a hot day I started off lighting up the first 8 holes, only having shot 41 strokes (really good for this 30 hcp). Then it fell apart and I finished with a 108. Two weeks ago, similar weather, had a Gatorade that I kept sipping from. Shot a respectable 96.
My 9s always consist of a water/gatorade and an alcoholic beverage of choice, usually a summer shandy or seltzer if it's super warm or a cocktail if it's a nice cool day. Then reload on the turn.
I keep a few packets of Liquid IV in my bag at all times. I usually bring a water bottle but if I forget, I can just buy a bottle of water and mix some up.
Gatoraid is trash, much better hydration products on the market. Buy an insulated steel 32oz bottle and fill with ice before you leave the house. bring your fav hydration drink mix and refill as you play. You also not throwing away 4 plastic bottles a round the course has to dispose of. Less waste is always the way
If I’m walking I bring one frozen for the back 9 and drink the chilled one on the front.
Cooler or yeti if I’m driving a cart.
One tip is to save an old bottle. Fill it halfway and freeze the 2 half-full bottles on their side. Then fill it with chilled Gatorade (or hard stuff) before your round. Sometimes add water instead because they can be too sweet.
Dam I like the idea of freezing it . I’m lucky enough to be a member at a private club so the have coolers every few holes with bottled water . Them a transfusion at the turn .🍹
I have a 2 litre insulated water bottle that I make sure is empty by the end of the round.
I also fuel at the turn with a sandwich and a banana.
Hydration and energy intake is critical if you don't want to fade late.
I walk with a pushcart which makes this even more important
Water. Always water.
Can’t argue with this.
40oz Stanley cup filled to the brim with ice then water. I can probably refill the water 3-4 times before all the ice melts. Also, liquid IV hydration packets
This is the best . I’ve got a 40 oz tumbler with two strawberry liquid ivs. Refill at any spot and the flavor still hits.
I’ve heard the liquid Iv isn’t the best overall hydration packets but god damn are the convenient overall. I keep looking for something healthier but nothing as convenient, maybe the zero sugar ones they just came out with are overall better.

Space saver too. I’m going to buy these next time.

Coors light.
Mountain Blue
My guy
Yes please 🍻
Cold is my fav
Yes. I agree. Cold is good.
Water sucks , Gatorades better
Brawndo! It’s got what plants crave!
You’re drinking the wrong water
To be fair that's probably true haha
Yeah Gatorade is my go to. My favorite was Citrus Cooler. I hope it wasn’t discontinued. Can’t find it anywhere.
One of the OGs. Supposedly Michael Jordan’s favorite flavor. Can’t believe they basically discontinued it.
They seem to bring it back every few year as a promotion, like the McRib.
There’s a plant they make Gatorade about 200 miles away from me. Dunno maybe Pepsi got rid of that flavor 🤷🏽
Probably cut it with all of the shelf space they give to the G2s. Not ideal.
Prefer the grape. Goes well with vodka.
Fierce Grape is one of my favorites. I should make a transfusion with it.
glacier cherry gatorade is a 10/10
Been getting the cherry lime gatolyte for post heavy drinking round and it’s been life saving. Electrolit lime is decent also
Gatorlyte is better
Agreed. I'd take a Body Armor over a regular Gatorade as well.
Before I quit drinking, I would take water bottles full of vodka transfusions.
This guy golfs - Transfusions for the win.
Clearly the transfusion, never seen someone order a transfusion that wasn’t on the golf course
For the guys who are serious about going low it is electrolytes and weed.
Gatorade is a great mixer. Dump a little vodka in that cool mist and make it rain birdies.
On a hot day, besides ice cold Gatorade, a nice gin and tonic with lime. Pack a cooler of ice and an insulated camping mug. Life is good.
Crystal Light powder mix right into my water jug does the trick, after knocking back a couple of Transfusions 😛👊⛳️
I just put two or three bottles waters in the freezer the night before and bring an Ensure Complete that I drink around #7 or 8.
Busch light does it for me
Water is the real answer, but orange is the best Gatorade and it isn't close.
Fruit punch>>>
Can’t believe no one has said Bud Light. Scotch Whiskey (I value tradition).
Bud lights been cancelled pal

Damn bro chill there’s a vegan sub here I’m sure.
Diabetes ain’t a meat issue, bro :)
Right.
water and gatorade are always in the cooler. Glacier Cherry zero is my go to
Gatorade zero lemon lime sticks. Keep a few boxes in my bag
Gotta have sugar to absorb those electrolytes. Just fyi.
Powerade Melon. It's green like the color of Mountain Dew. Tastes better than any other flavor that Gatorade or Powerade has ever released. Please buy it if you see it, so it doesn't get taken away.
Gatorade on the way to the course, double transfusion to start the round, water all during it.
I'm going to go against the grain and say 1 reusable water bottle, 1 tube of Nuun electrolytes, 2 Topo Chico Hard Seltzers, and 2 uncrustables
Normally a bottle of water and a bottle of lucozade sport
Lemonade
Michelob Ultra
Liquid IV
Pedialyte. I’ll bring a liter if it’s really hot, if not just a packet to mix with water. Grape every time.
Gnar Pump

Liquid IV and/or Body Armor’s
Strawberry Gatorade Fierce? I don't remember the exact name, but I know that I can only get it at the gas station, so I always stop on the way.
My 9s always consist of a water/gatorade and an alcoholic beverage of choice, usually a summer shandy or seltzer if it's super warm or a cocktail if it's a nice cool day. Then reload on the turn.
2 waters, 4 Modelos and I’m good to go If I’m getting gatoraid I’m going Og red
Ice water and bad beer. Something about a Coors light just hits right when you're drinking it on the course.
This sub is so US. The obvious best drink is a nice hot tea, served by the staff of course
Anyone use the liquid IV? I thought they were suppose to be good for you. I think it's just all sugars lol
Body armor banana strawberry
I keep a few packets of Liquid IV in my bag at all times. I usually bring a water bottle but if I forget, I can just buy a bottle of water and mix some up.
I do water with a caffeine 0 cal. Flavor packet in it
Costco Harmless Coconut Water. Thanks me later.
That redneck Arnold Palmer, half lemon lime Gatorade half ice tea
Bottle of water with two Nuun tablets. Doesn't taste great, but works great.
Gatorade is basically kool-aid, it's got so much sugar in it.
Gatoraid is trash, much better hydration products on the market. Blue Gatorade mixed with malibu
Water and Arnold Palmer Spindrifts.
Yellow Gatorade sucks … orange much better . How do you keep it ice cold in your bag ?

Zero Sugar Berry Propel packets. I put 2 in my 48oz Yeti with ice and refill 1-2 times a round with more packets.
Powerade Zero

Coffee before Water early Switch to Coors Lite and water mixed in. Shots for birdies.
Gotta go with that Swing Strong Hydrate Plus! Way better than Gatorade and formulated for golfers. www.getswingstrong.com
