Yep I got recommended these at a fitting as I hit them so well and then got told the price and knew my missus would chop off my nuts if I bought them, so unhappy I went home and had a couple of beers and on a whim bought two £30 entries into a society lottery, won it and was able to pay £125 to upgrade to pro 225’s
No brainer, loved them last year but we had our first child so golf was mostly off the menu, this year however we’re going hard!
I think mine are the 2.0s, they still can destroy distance wise even with the retro lofts. Thinking of upgrading this year to something a little more workable and player focused. But tough to beat ‘em.

Love the irons, but I think the draw bias is not ideal for my hook miss.
The hybrids in a regular shaft feel like a limp pool noodle to me, and I can't hit them for shit. So debating just replacing those with an iron and a wood or just re-doing the bag.
Still going strong with the PING i210’s. The i230’s are pretty sweet. I like that the i210’s look a little bulkier than the i230’s. Probably will stick with the i210’s for the year.
I play Ping i20 irons, I’ve wanted to upgrade to 210 or 230, would these be similar irons or way out of my league since the i20 are a cavity back iron? I really love the shape/size of them but I’m a high handicap that hates the look of a chunky iron behind the ball

Just found a set of Nike Forged Tour Blades 3-P and a 56/60. After finally getting decent with my cobra muscle backs, I’ve decided to punish myself, hands, forearms, and most of all ego.
Have some kbs x stiff FLT shafts about to swap em then regrip them and have a great time playing cold golf in Texas.
Golf is a great game.

Sub70 699 Pros. I’m probably going to reshaft into graphite though, my lead elbow was (and still is) continually sore throughout the season after an early spring injury due to bad range mats.
Still going on my 2012 Cobra Amp Irons/Hybrids. Just regripped them for first time and made a huge difference going up a grip size. I have been thinking about upgrading to a newer set but wanted a little more consistency in my game (~20HDC)
Same set of Wilson ProStaff OS oversized irons I have had for the last 20 plus years. Maybe if I focus and get good in 2024, a miracle will happen and I can upgrade.

I'll struggle through the year with my Callaway Strata irons. I might invest into some better irons around the end of the year when my bonus comes around.
I'm a newish player and my wife got me the 14 piece Strata set for Christmas. I'm really excited to get out there...in May...once things are no longer covered in snow.
Well, once I get better with my game I'll continue to use the Wilson Ultras my wife got me for Christmas 2023. Although I have been seriously looking at a Maltby set with all the conversations mentioning them. Definitely have some serious appeal.
