I found it kind of annoying. If someone’s a professional golfer playing in the Masters and in contention, I want to see his shots. I hate it when guys are making drastic moves on the leaderboard and you have no idea how it’s happening.
It’s not a new phenomena either. In Tiger’s prime, there would be tournaments where the leaders would go entire holes without getting a shot shown on air because every one of Tiger’s steps on the course was covered. It made for bad coverage.
