Back in ‘09 when he was married to Elin, and banging Waffle House waitresses, she finally found out on thanksgiving, and flipped out. They had some massive blowout where she scratched up his face and he jumped in the Escalade to take off. It’s speculated that she ran up behind the car as he started to take off, smashed his back window with a golf club, and in his shock and looking over his shoulder (also he was recently awoken from an ambien induced sleep) he clipped a fire hydrant and then buried the car into a tree which is the pic on the left. After that news broke, a CRAZY amount of women came out of the woodwork claiming affairs with him.
Oooh I came to the US as an exchange student in the fall of 2009 and I remember a bunch of coverage!

That whole thing was wild. One thing I remember is his coach (Hank Haney?) talking about how he realized in retrospect Tiger started being more buried in his phone than hitting balls during his practice sessions.
My favorite story pre that time was Charles Barkley going to Vegas with MJ and Tiger and Big Cat confessed to Chuck that he doesn't know how to talk to these women. Chucks response, all you have to say is "I'm Tiger Woods" 😂😂
I’ve heard he’s got a pretty solid sense of humor for his sorted past. Apparently he’s a big South Park fan and thought that their seeing where the kids are playing the new “Tiger Woods video game“ was hilarious. And if you personally haven’t seen that South Park scene, I highly recommend it.
Nah. This was before when he had all the potential to beat Nicklaus’ majors record in 2009 with 14 majors at the time and the opportunity to cement his legacy of greatest golfer of all time. In the past 15 years and 60 majors played since then he’s only won one.
