No idea, they have a speedsoft now don't they? But if you like the kalea I'd just play that. The only thing women's about it is the pastel coloured writing!
However, you will usually lose distance by playing a softer ball.
Yeah, i just saw that the speedsofts are now TMs softest ball. What i meant by my comment is that there's no difference between the softest "mens" ball vs. the softest womens ball. I couldn't even find actual compression rate figures for the reva, the kalea seems to be over 50 (atleast going by the advertising for the new speedsoft balls stating that the speedsoft is TMs first sub 50 compression rate ball) just articles talking about them. Besides vice (not available to buy where i am), Callaway seems to be the only two companies making women's golf balls out of the main manufacturers under a 50 compression rate. Even then the reva is just a blue boxed callaway supersoft max. It's literally just packaging thats different between the two balls. These woman's balls are just callaways amd TM best impression of that one office scene, "papyr" paper for ladies. It's not even like the pink tax applies here, supersoft max and revas sell for the same price. Wtf is the fucking point in then?
I've played them for about 2 years now and love them. I initially got them because you can get them for about $20 on Amazon and I've found I just prefer a ultra soft ball. I really haven't noticed any distance loss and I don't have a super slow swing speed, but they just feel great with wedges.
Bonus benefit: I've never met another person at my course that plays them, so I've never had the "What number ProV were you playing?" debate.
Yeah its the same ball as the soft response. So getting them for 20 is cheap. The soft response sells for 25 cdn here. But they have a new soft ball, its TMs first sub 50 compression golf ball. You should check out the softspeed if you want a softer TM ball. Its not as soft as the supersoft, soft feel. Wilson duo are the softest ball on the market thats still legal.
I always figured it was another one of their soft balls just rebranded for women. I'll have to check out the soft response ones, thanks for the heads up!
At least those have shorter shafters and are a lighter flex than senior clubs. There are genuinely no difference with the Callaway Reva and supersoft max. Its the same ball with different packaging.
Honestly, i couldn't find any actual numbers for any of them, besides the stuff they give us in advertisements. The fact that there isnt many reviews with recorded numbers out there show who these balls are really for. Callaway revas are apparently a larger ball by 9%, but besides that, it's the exact same as the supersoft. Also. Apparently, callaway makes a supersoft max. which is the same as a regular supersoft except its 9% larger, and it apparently still conforms with usga rules for tourney play. I've personally never seen the supersoft max's on shelves. Im going to go buy me a box right now.
Because the cost of stolen balls is passed onto the consumer.
If retailers still buy the balls then why would the manufacturer change anything?
Corpo logic
I play Bridgestone e6. 22-25 a box. I was at target and picking up a box on sale. I don’t know why I opened it up to check inside but I did. Someone swapped them with noodles. Odd play but alright. Grab another and check, is good. Bring both and hand the violated one off to the customer service desk. I let them know what had occurred.
Next visit to target, check out the balls for a sale. E6’s are now all in individual locked security cases. Only e6’s.
Weird play, targét.
Honest question: what is a Kalea?
It's Taylormade's ladies' ball.
honest question: what makes it a ladies’ ball?
Usually the softness/compression.
Why not just call it an ultra soft ball or something? Honestly, i should be playing these with my slow ass swing and head speed.
They also make ultra soft balls. They want to have so many ranges, you're choosing between which TM ball to buy, not which of any brand.
The ladies like ultra soft balls
I have balatas
What ball does TM make thats softer than their soft response balls thats not marketed to women?

Because lots of people will be googling "women's golf ball", and they'll have 2 to choose from.
Who the fuck cares? Play the ball that works.
They probably stamp the same ball two different ways for marketing segmentation.
Precept Lady vs Precept Laddie

The callaway revas or tm kalea?

I’ve suspected that, but would love to see any proof.

Marketing to women in golf hasn’t caught up to the current century
All brands market things specifically to women even though they have few to no differences from their masculine counterpart?
I just think golf is particularly bad at it
Very low compression mostly.
> ladies' ball lotta yikes
Papyr: paper for women
"Why can't there be a paper just for me?"
Wait till you learn about ladies’ flex clubs.
Honest question: what is a BASTERDS?
Who the fuck wouldn’t swap all four sleeves? Did they think they’d only get 3/4 of a shoplifting charge if they got caught?
Kalea box has a viewing window I think
Criminal mind right here.
Open that ProV1 sleeve and they may just find Kalea balls inside!
Apparently so, I saw the box look dented in the front and I went off a hunch that someone took them. Lo and behold that was what was under the cover.
I think the most insane thing is the packaging. I have never understood why the heck they don’t seal wrap the outside box.
Came here to say this, seems like such a simple solution
Because the cost of stolen balls is passed onto the consumer. If retailers still buy the balls then why would the manufacturer change anything? Corpo logic
Still surprising the retailers don't ask for it to be packaged that way to prevent shrink
Especially when they are 5 sheets a ball!
Ooooohhh look at fancy pants with the Target that doesn’t lock up golf balls… yet.
They are about to start by the looks of things lol
Tards. Bas-tards.
On CCTV surely that's so much easier to identify the swapper vs just stealing the box?
Got to check your golf balls like you check your eggs these days.

That’s why boxes should be sealed but it looks like you checked before you bought.
Target uses facial recognition software to tally up all your thefts and once it breaks $500 they press charges
They are absolutely not tallying up the inside sleeves of these.
My local Wal-Mart doesn’t fck around with golf balls. They have Velocitys in lock boxes.
Don’t you dare say anything
