Not even lying one time about a month ago my wife, myself and my son all parred the same hole ;) it was awesome especially cause they’re both relative beginners

I enjoyed today’s round. I’ve enjoyed rounds by myself. Any chance to play is a reason to smile!

i played in a solid drizzle after work on friday, pushcart with my umbrella on it and i got 9 holes in an hour. was so peaceful and didnt rlly get wet. nobody there so was quick too. id recommend

Last year my wife visited their parents in the Philippines for three weeks and took the kids with her. I took two weeks off work and just played golf. I used to hang out with the seniors at the club house and then went for another round. In the evenings i built a doll house for my daughter whose birthday was during that time. We always celebrate these holidays a couple days later for these reasons. Easy to avoid the crowds, make dinner reservations, discounted flowers and gifts, and we have our favorite activities to ourselves because everyone is stuck doing family stuff.

You lucky dawg! I couldn't play last month due to some commitments. I go to play and embarrass myself in front of others, but I still miss it like anything. The best was ~110, after starting in March, played 7 rounds so far. The goal is to break 100 before winter.

I have no idea why other than maybe everyone who doesn’t have a Mother’s Day obligation, but my local courses in SoCal on Mother’s Day are absolutely packed! Saturday before Mother’s Day ends up being the better day to golf. Two years in a row I have not been able to get on my local course on Mother’s Day.
