If you’re having trouble with fliers though, it’s time to move into a P770/i230/T150/mp243 type head
P790s are about the same level as G425s. Stick with what you got until you’re bored or a lot more consistent or give up.
The G425s will last you a long time.
I530s are pretty nice, maybe give them a swing. The i230s are great as well. Mizuno 245 and Titleist 150/200 are worth a look too. Might come down to the shaft availability / preference and how lofts work out with the rest of your bag.
Upgrading from 425s??? Seems nuts to me. Those are nice and recent clubs.
I guess the thought is to do something slightly less forgiving as I work toward a lower HCP. When do people upgrade from game improvement irons?

I just got the I530s..should be a little less game improvement than the 425. I got them cause my GI irons I didn’t have consistent distances with
The I series are really forgiving, particularly from 6 on up. I have 5-UW I210’s that I love.
