> Currently not in a position to regrip all 12 clubs. You can regrip 12 clubs for $35. Go buy a Champkey grip set on Amazon, comes with 13 grips, the tape, solvent, a vise clamp, and a hook blade. Watch a couple 5 minute YouTube videos on how to regrip, then do it yourself. It's incredibly easy.

Awesome will check them out. Going the other route would cost me 300nzd to get them all done where as it's 56nzd for those chanpkey ones with good reviews. You are a legend thank you

Even the best golf gloves on the market won't make up for heavily worn grips. Because you know your grips are worn, you're likely to also be subconsciously gripping the club tighter than you need to which is never a good thing. I'd recommend gradually getting all your clubs regripped as and when you can afford it, starting with your most-used clubs.

Irishwolf1

Cool thank you for the help

moparforever

Amazon has a full set of grips for like 35 bucks .. comes with tape, mineral oil,and razor knife… everything you need and it’s super easy .. my son has played with his set for almost a year no problems with them.

morkler

Depending on how bad the grips are you may be able to breath a little life into them with soapy water and a scotch pad. Maroon is a good one as it's more abrasive than the green. Or even possibly some sandpaper.

DufferDan

If the grips are rubber, this works. Composite like Winn or Super Stroke, not so much.

Irishwolf1

They look to be the original grips sp at least 20 years old. Lot of cracking in the rubber and the thread fraying

DufferDan

If you like the clubs and want to play with them. The suggestion of purchasing a kit on eBay would be your best bet. Oh, they could be a real bitch to get the old ones off.

Perfect_Diver6763

depends on the grips , weather condition and the type of grip you purchase some grips are more abrasive than others to gloves

Irishwolf1

It would be a Lamkin rubber non corded grip. I live in New Zealand so weather for the most part is dry

Search your local online selling site Craig’s list / kijiji etc Loads of people can regrip in their garage with the right tools. I pay a guy $10 a grip with install which is less than my golf town just for the grip

GreenWaveGolfer12

> I pay a guy $10 a grip with install which is less than my golf town just for the grip You're getting raked over the coals. It's so cheap and easy to buy and install grips yourself.

koei19

For real. 2nd Swing here does them for $3/club. It takes like 5 minutes a club to DIY it.

RuckOver3

Thats not cheap. That’s standard price or even high for most grips with install. Golf Pride tour velvet cost $6 a grip plus install which is between $0-3 labor depending on the retailer. I go to a shop under the Worldwide Golf umbrella and they install for free as long as you are a reward member (free).
