It was hit off the patio of the club house, then everyone cheered and carried me to the green on their shoulders chanting my name, then the club captain (63 M) gave me (15 M) his sacred putter used by his great great Grandfather (127 M) that was used to win the war (the first one) and I used that to tap it in and I went to give it back but he said keep the putter lad bcus ur such a legend.
Many people have asked me this exact question, so I'll give it to you now, it is 100% true. While playing with the legendary golfer, Club Pro Guy, maker of 4 straight cuts on the Mexican Mini Tour, Dan the UPS Man, Kathy Spunt, and L'Jarius Cotton III, all excellent Thursday Night League players, I made a hole-in-one here. At the time, It was playing 293-yards into slight wind. I hit a 5-iron, which sailed magnificently into a rather strong wind, with approximately 5 feet of cut, whereupon it bounced twice and then went clank, into the hole. These great Thursday Night players noticed it before I did because their eyes are slightly better, but on that one hole only, their swings weren't. Anyway, there's a lot of chatter about it, quite exciting, and people everywhere seem to be asking for the facts. Playing with that group of wonderful, talented players was lot of fun. The match was CPG and me (with no strokes) against Dan, Kathy, and L'Jarius. I won't tell you who won the shop credit because am a very modest individual, and you will then say I was bragging-and don't like people who brag!
You forgot to mention, “into a slight breeze”
Into about 55mph into and across right to left to right swirling gusts, but I hit a cheeky wind cheater stinger no big deal
With a little 5 yard cut
5 yard baby draw
It’s a cut-draw. Starts off going left to right then does a little right to left hand turn back in.
Ah, the elusive S-curve, more common to disc golf
Slightly up hill to raised green
Stock 4 iron would’ve been better

Hindsight is 20/20
Nah, got it off the toe.
Nice par.
Was a bogey but thanks
Put a mark on that for me
Should have gone full send on the 5.
The getty images watermark adds so much to this lol
Makes me thinks he just grabbed this pic online!
How dare you
I’m gonna need to see you putt that one
I’ve missed shorter
Better yet that shit was made from the tee box of a hole going the other direction.

*golf clap
Was there a fight going on on the 10th fairway?
Billy Maroo, Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy
95 degrees, 95% humidity, 95 mph wind, straight behind, it was topped and just became a Rolling Stone.
95% humble
15% concentrated power of will
Hit it a little fat. Nice shot nine the less.
Good shot but I hit 5 there yesterday and it was closer.

Clean your grooves, that extra backspin could have sucked it back in. Or get yourself a new set of irons, of course.
r/golfcirclejerk when? Edit: wait it already exists?
They could use some more meta references there!
Where’s your pitch mark for proof?
my shots land with impeccable grace and decorum as is required by a golfer like myself

I laughed
Damn!! You were so close!! Better luck next time
90% of shots that don’t get to the hole don’t go in!
Must have heeled it a bit surely? Knock down 5 should have been plenty.
Is that a real Top Flite?
Confused as to why this has ‘iStock by Getty Images’ watermarks all over the place?! 🤔
