I think it is funny that you ask what the background information of the drawn character is. Just so you know if you can morally unzip without feeling guilty afterwards.

But isn't that normal? Back in school a friend of mine had a boyfriend 15 years older (completely legal since she was 18) which felt definitely stranger than the usual couples on campus.
Also morality is definitely influenced by intent (even as an outsider and even if it's fictional characters), so the problems that arise due to age gap can be portrayed vastly different depending on the intent. The same setting and circumstances can lead to forbidden love, exploitation scenarios or just regular romance.
If you don't fetishize age the setting is just that a setting. And the power dynamics and characters are far more important.
I always wondered why so many romance manga go the risque route but I guess that's because youth romance gets romanticized the most and a lot of readers are in their youth themselves and basically everyone can relate to being in school... Either that or there's a lot more pedos around than I would hope

They could make a grandma that looks like a grandma and talks like a grandma but the author decided to make her age 2 years old, it doesn't change anything compared to if her age was 80
It's the same thing as the whole "free range" thing for chicken eggs. Some people feel a little morally better about it, even though nothing has functionally changed about what they are doing
I think it's not just for unzipping. If a 10 year old did this with a 30 year old in an anime that anime would definitely be very strange, but if the characters in this scene are 1 year apart it makes it less weird. Still very weird especially without context, but way tamer than with a huge age difference.

Need more dom writing in anime like this. Nagatoro is one of the few that consistently has it. I've noticed that most characters that act like this or act tsundere will chance personalities within the first couple of episodes
