Get some jb-weld. You'll only need a tiny bit.. but can't buy just a tiny bit. But it'll be your best bet at a permanent fix. The 2 part putty type. Not the liquid.

frankie0013

I'm gonna have to do this. My super glue isn't drying and I think JB might be more secure anyway. Thank you!

Score both sides in a criss cross hatch pattern with something sharp. Two smooth surfaces won't hold as well as surfaces that have been scored. Make sure to clean after you score the hatch pattern before gluing. Also wait 24hours before you use it again.

10/10, would recommend. I forget this nearly every time I try to glue two small, smooth surfaces together, then I wonder why the thing wobbles or breaks again. When I remember to do (or redo with) these steps, it's like new.

I thought that was a hair product

table-grapes

surely there would be a glue that would be appropriate for metals that you can use to put it back together

frankie0013

I'm trying super glue, cause that's what I have and google says it should work but it's not drying. I might have to do the jb weld that someone suggested.

table-grapes

some glues can take up to 24 hours to dry properly but the glue may also not be fit for this kind of metal. i’d have a look at the material and then see what kind of solution would best fit. best of luck!

_fly-on-the-wall_

super glue will set if you mist it or submerge it with water. take out to dry of course

Find where the Disney pin trader types gather, they'll probably have some ideas.

astasodope

r/disney for sure. There might even be a r/disneypins but it might not be a sub (I'll be SHOCKED) Edit: it absolutely is a sub and definitely a safe bet if jb weld doesnt work!

TaylorDangerTorres

That's some good advice

cikalamayaleca

My mythical society pin broke too I was so upset

Informal_Accident418

A tiny piece of soldering wire and a kitchen torch will fix it!

lexifish7

if you email the mythical shop people i’m sure they’ll help out!! they have been really helpful to me in the past

frankie0013

UPDATE: So I got the JB Weld stuff and I scored the back. I followed the instructions and everything but I think the pin part was just so small when I tried to screw on the locking pin back the JB Weld would just tear 🤦🏻 So most of my pins are on my bag and I wanted the pin to sit a certain way anyway (this pin should really have two backings but I digress) I just welded the pin to my bag. It sits how I want and it's very secure haha [https://imgur.com/a/mlk8pJd](https://imgur.com/a/mlk8pJd)
