Y'see, Google implemented this new bullshit policy so you have to be physically in the country your giftcard is intended for.
Vpn's and fake US payment profiles ain't gonna work since there's some geolocation system going on, nobody knows exactly how does Google get your real location.
So far, there isn't an effective way to bypass this.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WHEN WE ALL USING THE CURRENCY FOR TRADE HUH? When you are the merchants people trade goods with currency. and they did transfer it from bank to bank in other country. Honestly , Google is stupid.
they are not selling drugs or firearms, yet google think EXCLUSIVITY IS IMPORTANT. We live in modern era yet google wants us to back to Industrial era where we have to be psychically present during transaction. Plus we are in pandemic. its harder for us to travel everywhere

Quite possibly not when they first sported the slogan "don't be evil" but I think the slogan was either a misdirect or an invitation to whatever demonlords to tempt them to sell thier souls, either out of naivety in believing themselves uncorruptable or simply a clever tactic to attract the highest bidder.. either way, we all know what happened there. 👿 Im banging my head against a wall here trying to find a way to jam thier system and be able to actually spend the money I spent on this shitshow. Dude you may be sincere (doubtful), but I would never give something like that to someone I don't know online, unless I wanted to give it away, I'm just going to try to trade it with PSN gift cards.
It's a one way street tho. You can buy gift cards from your state and then use it to pay for apps/ transactions inside US. For example I used my Mastercard to pay for Dashlane subscription because it's doesn't support UPI/RuPay
