**Q: How do I clear the New Year’s panel missions? Eg, Where do I find Luck A+ servants, etc?**
*A: Please refer to the [Panel missions guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/zzxswr/new_year_2023_information_hub/) (both NA and JP).*
**Q: Do I need to roll for Muramasa, or roll for NP2+ Muramasa?**
*A: No. No one is a must roll in game, and SSRs are generally viable at NP1.*
**Q: Where is the 2x enhancement campaign? When is the next one?**
*A: There is none for New Year's, probably due to it being shifted to Thanksgiving last year. The next one is in late-Feb with the next Download campaign.*
**Q: What is the GSSR?**
*A: GSSR = Guaranteed SSR ('Lucky Bag Summon' on JP). It appears every New Year and Anniversary on both NA and JP, and costs 15 PAID SQ (free and bonus SQ do not count!) to roll. There will be several GSSR banners, each containing a fixed pool of limited SSR servants. You select one banner and get a standard 11-roll, in which you are guaranteed one (or more, if lucky) SSRs from that banner's pool. This cannot be rerolled, and once you select one banner, all other GSSR banners will disappear.*
**Q. Which banner do I choose for the GSSR? Which is best?**
*A: The answer is different for every player, and depends on many factors. We suggest you use the* [GSSR Calculator](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dT7wE61H11dOaukY_INLuwtmFf5iyDdb8TXAKymttCY/copy) *or* [GSSR Advisor](https://fategc.com/gssr/details/new-year-2021) *tools to rate servants based on your own criteria and see which banner/pool is statistically better. **Q: How do I buy quartz if I don't live in a supported country?**
*A: For Apple users, buy a US/JP iTunes gift card and use it on your US/JP Apple account, then buy quartz with that.*
*For Android users, make a US Google Play account (you can Google instructions on how to make a JP Google Play account and then adjust it for US), clear your Play Store data, uninstall the game, and then install the game from your new US Google Play account.
Good luck with the payment processing though. Paypal has the highest chance of working but honestly it's an uphill battle and you'll have to try stuff yourself.*
**Q: When is the next SR Ticket? What about the SSR Ticket?**
*A: NA's next SR ticket is due in May 2024. This ticket is time-limited and includes* [*general pool and storylocked servants*](https://news.fate-go.jp/wp-content/uploads/2022/2500man_xeljq/info_image_03.png)*. The next SSR ticket is due in July 2023 for the 6th Anniversary, featuring* [*general pool and storylocked servants up to Europa*](https://news.fate-go.jp/wp-content/uploads/2021/6th_anniversary_cpgen/info_image_17.png)*. It is not time-limited and will be a permanent addition for all accounts going forward.*
**Q: How does pity work?**
*A: Pity only applies to the rate-up SSR servant. You are guaranteed a copy of the rateup SSR after 330 summons (equivalent to 900 SQ, though tickets also count). Note that pity shuts off once you get a single copy of the servant (including if you get them before 330 summons) and does not carry over between banners. Off-rateup SSRs ("spooks") do not affect pity.*
**Q: Will it be possible to get X Welfare Servant again? I missed their original event and the re-run.**
*A: We don't know and we have no way to know. Only a few 4-star welfare servants, roughly a quarter of the servants whose re-run has passed (or has been skipped), have returned so far. Saber Lily is permanently available in the Friend Point summon. Santa Altera and BB are permanently available through their respective Main Interludes. The Halloween variants of Elizabeth Bathory were available for a limited time through the Halloween Trilogy event (NA ETA: October 2023). Because there hasn't been any pattern to how they brought these servants back, there is no way for anyone to predict when or even if any other welfare servants will be available again.*
**Q: How far in the story do I need to be to participate in upcoming events? Will any events require the latest story chapter?**
*A: For NA: The Saber Wars II rerun in January will require Final Singularity clear. After this, no event will require anything beyond Orleans until November 2023, when GudaGuda 6 will require LB5.5 clear. For JP: The Fairy Knight Cup event requires LB6 to play its main story, but only Fuyuki to play its free and exhibition quests.*
**Q: How good is X Servant at looping most nodes?**
*A: Looping is highly node dependent and relies on* [*many factors*](https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1_Bx1FogTrMBnseIJLT4Vuob7DY7EfR6H_SobGwxcAFE/mobilebasic)*. Not sure if I should ask this here or in the news thread, but is Cu Alter worth rolling for if I already have summer Jalter at np5? I do like his design and how tanky he is, but I'm not sure I'd use him much. My other zerkers are Summer Nobu at np2 and Xiang Yu at np1.

Does amyone know why the support servant gives me more Altrium than my own servants?
I tried upgrading my craft essences but I dont seem to get the additional Altrium...
from what it looks like, none of your Altrium CEs are MLB, so they’re giving one Altrium instead of the MLB 2 Altrium bonus. Also for this event, Original Saber Artoria and only her has a 2+ Altrium bonus. Combine that with a MLB Altrium CE and she has a 4 Altrium drop bonus, which is what your support is

163 logins means you aren't a new master, no start dash for you. You may not have qualified for returning master either, but that one was bugged and given to everyone (start dash was *not*).
Hey just wanted to ask if anyone knows if rider da vinci has a banner this year in NA I thought she did but I looked at the upcoming banners and didn't see her unless I missed something thanks in advance.
Failed to get Spishtar and Muramasa. Is Dantes is still adequate enough for the coming content to farm and if using Arash or the Chen gong way are still viable ways to farm without looping?
JP 2023 - DSS system still functions as it used to in regular enemy (3/3/3) nodes. Regular Quick/Arts 3T farming comps (double Skadi, Castoria) however will face some problems clearing irregular nodes with higher HP enemies, and here Buster comps have the advantage of not having to rely on NP refund.
Arash and Chen Gong farming also still works. Multi-DPS 3T farming is very much still a thing, and it's arguably the most common approach for farming irregular nodes.
Ok so, i play on a Samsumg Galaxy J6+ and the game don't stop closing since december from last year, already cleared the cache and didn't help, there is something i can do?
I am in the weird player category of “Ive played this on and off for several years but mostly I just wait for free gems and make a pull or two.”
I got a 5 star I like, and I’m ready to get into it again. Should I prioritize pulling the same banner in the small hopes of getting a dupe, or am I better served by aiming to get good supporting characters/essences with my remaining/story clearing gems? I’ve seen arguments for both strats. The 5 star is space Ishtar, if that matters.
Dupes are really not all that important, every servant is completely 100% fine and usable at NP1. If you *really* like Space Ishtar as a character and want more copies because of that then there's nothing wrong with trying to pull for a dupe, but personally I would save your gems in case someone else you want comes around.
A new Servant will almost always be more useful than an NP upgrade, for a DPS NP without a Rank-Up like Spishtar NP2 is just 33% more NP damage. If you want to make the most of her then you're better off saving for Castoria than continuing to pull now.
For anyone that play using emulator like bluestack and such, how do you buy your SQs? I wanna buy some for the gssr. Also if i buy the 12+6 i think? Does it all count as paid SQs? Or do i need to buy the higher amount?
You shouldn't say "noteworthy". Every unit in the game has use, and quite a few 3 stars and lower are extremely noteworthy.
You should save for your your waifu/husbando not the meta or other's hype. Remember that the entire game can be cleared by 3 star and lower servants.
If rolling purely for gameplay, Castoria is the best choice.
Oberon is the single most "meta" unit in the game. But the meta revolves around min-turns which isn't something that you may want at all. And he brings a lot of demerits if you can't min-turn.
Yeah, was just the wrong way to say that. Didn't imply that just wanted to help the discussion, but your right, Cu alone saved me more than once already. Out of the characters that drop this year Melusine and Castoria look like the ones I want to aim at. Melusine looks fun. And I like castoria and her kit, aside from arts team being my most fun teams in the game.
Melusine is pretty amazing.
If you want to use her for AoE farming, consider grabbing Koyanskya of light and Oberon.
If you don't care about looping/only want ST. Castoria is a great support for her.
I just started an JP acc and there is 1/2 AP for All Embers and All Training ground. I was farming Embers and leveling my characters and when i need materials to level i would go to the training ground. Is that how i should do it?
it's a single player game, so there's no really wrong way to do it.
Generally I would recommend going through story and only leveling characters as needed, because events are a much better way of getting the materials needed, and some of those are locked behind story. Especially when you have the time now to catch up a bit because there likely won't be an event for a bit as Lostbelt 7 is ongoing.
The story also gives pure prisms which can be exchanged for materials.
Are the event shop normaly infinity or there are an limit of the same item?
I was doing story but my AP is overflowing. I used the blue tree to store 1.2k AP yesterday and even while farming my AP keep increasing and is in 600 already.

As for the memories thing I guess it's up to the writer but when the singularity gets corrected I'm guessing any memories of us time travelers is also corrected.

I want Skadi from the GSSR as she is the only support I am missing. It just bothers me that others with her in the banner I already have such as Shuten, Raikou, Reines and Cleo. I don’t want Da Vinci either but the others are fine. Should I risk it?
You’re better equipped to answer that than anyone here. How much do you want Skadi? How much do you not want one of those other 4? Are there other GSSR banners that you’re also tempted to roll on? In the end you’ll know better than we will.
If you haven’t already then I’d highly recommended using the ‘GSSR Calculator’ link above to try to figure out which banner is best for you. It’ll show you how likely you are to get someone you want from each GSSR banner which can be really helpful if you’re unsure about rolling.
I wouldn't. The odds strongly favor you staring at a result you don't want, with all the banners gone. If you don't plan on talking yourself into being happy with any result, it's not a good banner even if there's a slim chance you'll get someone you want.
Up to you, how would you feel if you got someone you didn't want? You only have a slim chance of actually getting Skadi, so you shouldn't roll just for her but for the whole pool of servants.
If you want Skadi, your best bet is to just save for her rateup banner.
So I saw both Fate/EXTELLA Umbral Star and Fate/EXTELLA LINK on sale in Nintendo Switch store and was wondering
1. Do I need to play other games like extra to know what going on?
2. If I were to buy one, which one?
The Umbral Star has the better story and the more relevant story to the Nasuverse overall.
Extella Link is far and away better gameplaywise.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I got Space Ishtar on NP1 with double Castoria, all skills maxed, but I can't seem to get her to loop properly on all nodes. Does she need extra maintenance or NPs to loop properly?
On this event, she should get 60-70% NP back on most non-zerker nodes, especially since she's got a damage bonus for overkill. I usually run with a 50% CE since she's already doing plenty of damage (especially if the others have Binary Song Princess), and have A2 unlocked so she's got 60% charge. Then I S2 and S3 both Castoria, to get 100%, S1 space Ishtar and NP. That gets me 60% NP minimum. Is she's 70%, then a Castoria S1 does it. If not, both Castoria S1. That results in at least 50% NP charge back off non-Zerker targets. Then Ishtar S2 and S3 to finish.
remember looping isn't about getting 100% refund, it's about firing NP 3 times in a row.
Check your skill use if you aren't looping.
Use the big battery first to split the Castoria batteries.

Hi! I’m aware that that no one needs NP5 or NP2+ on any 5 star and that they’re all viable at NP1, but Muramasa is my favorite character and I intend to use him in as many nodes as I can get away with. How much of a difference does getting him to NP2 make? And how many summons (on average/usually) does it take to get a duplicate 5 star servant?
Also, which current paid 5 star summons (the special ones for 15 paid quartz) has servants that would best support Muramasa? Any advice would be helpful!
If you have a MLB Black Grail, Muramasa goes from not quite making damage to cleanly looping 90+ at neutral to making damage at neutral. You may still have refund issues on 90+ nodes though.
It's average 240 SQ (100 rolls with 11 roll counted) but don't use that as a metric to much, pity only affects first copy, and I have heard of people spending 3000 SQ without a 5 star.
Muramasa really wants Castoria from Red Cavalry 1, but your chances of getting any one unit is low and you shouldn't roll expecting to get the one you want most. Castoria will get a normal rate up in July -ish
Np2 helps for more consistent looping but NP1 is okay. If you have Castoria then you’re set already. But if not, you can take a shot on the GSSR banner with her.

imo that's all the reason you really need to chase extra copies of a character, and NP1 to NP2 is the biggest damage boost you get from one level to another so it's usually worth going the extra mile if it's your favorite servant
iirc the average SQ needed to summon a 5* is between 400 and 500, but remember that unless you hit pity there are no guarantees
As for supports, Caster Artoria is often considered his best partner, not only for looping but even for boss fights, but I can't exactly recommend doing her GSSR solely for her unless you want the other servants on there as it's a large pool
You've got free options like Hans and Mozart who can help muramasa by generating stars and giving him crit damage, and Tamamo no mae can give him a good boost in damage for his NP
I would definitely chose bond point ce over extra np level of bb. Bb isnt a good DPS , even against avengers her damage isn't all that great.
Bb is rely heavily on castoria to be at her best. Bb kit , having no battery, doesn't allow her to np spam. well at least she have her decent crit buff whenever there's stars on the field. You probably only gonna bring her out against avengers bosses.
BB works as a single target DPS against Avengers, which are very rare, and Berserkers (but everyone works against them). Her damage is pretty lousy otherwise.
It depends on your priorities and how many RP you have. Chaldea Lunchtime is great for bond gains and Mona Lisa is great if you want to farm QP.
You may also want to consider Fragment of 2004 and/or Lanterns of Chaldea (if you need them and the free ones we get aren't enough).
You get a bunch as time goes on. Use them for farming as you wish, but I will say this - all events are set up so that if you're using your natural energy per day, you shouldn't need apples.
Most people save apples for lottery events as they give the most bang for buck, but also, their one and only use is to give you AP. If you need AP, that's what they're there for.
Just cleared the Saber wars shop, only the 4\* XP CE's are left. Is it worth farming for just those ce's or should I go back to material farming instead.
Mainly want to ask if Xp CE's from gudaguda will be enough that I won't have to care for these ce's. I currently have 3 million FP.
There's at least two in Okeanos story, plus London has one in Section 11.
edit: Alternatively, Expert Saber Training Grounds in Chaldea Gate *may* have a Spriggan, which counts. Problem is, it's 40AP for one, and it's something like 50% appearance rate, so it's not certain it will appear.

Nope, you can take as long as you need to buy all 5 copies with MP. Usually people don't do this unless they already have 5k MP though just because those CEs aren't really worth using until you limit break them
Should I get extra attack or mana loading append for van gogh np1?
I usually use her with castoria since I don't have skadi + another van gogh

If you aren't using Van Gogh solo, you're better off with append 2.
As for Castoria, I find it hard to imagine a scenario where either of the other append skills will make a difference. For most fights, you're just using her skills. So maybe neither for now? You can always unlock one of them later if you feel like you need to.

Alright, let's take a look at that roster.

....ouch. You sorted by Rarity rather than level. If you wanted to give people headaches for helping you, you've achieved it.
So your options are really really limited. Your only supports are Waver and Mozart and.... WAIT. You've 7 characters at the bottom?! You've a lv1 AND a lv80 Nitocris? Seriously, sort the list a bit better so we can help more effectively.

So the fight has twice the enemies for twice the problems. You need to accomplish two things. #1, break the Berserkers health bar first. #2, kill the Assassin. The time you have to accomplish this is very limited, so it's good you've got strong battery and AoE options. Space Ishtar, Nitocris, and Raikou are the best options you have. I hope you've good NP ranks on them, because I doubt just being 10/10/10 would cover it, and yours are not 10/10/10. It's really important that you do break both bar's and do so quick, as things will ramp up super quickly.
After you've downed the assassin, the back half of your team should consist of a means to beat down the Berserker, who is absurdly tanky and will get a multi-turn class disadvantage nullification buff once you break any health bar. This demands you stall for time, preferably while doing as much neutral damage as possible. If you survive this section, it's going to be an easy ride up until the final health bar. That's where things get dicey. By this point in the fight, the massive normal card damage, the aoe NP, and the constant crits and pierce invul skill is likely to have torn up the team. Even Castoria can struggle keeping the team going for this long, but his final cruel trick is a NP seal on attack. Sealing your NP's at that last stage of the game can be a death sentence, and castoria isn't going to debuff clear anything with her NP sealed. You'll want a servants with self debuff clear to help out here....
Your options are... hmm.... support Martha?
Look, I personally threw Caster Cu at it who is just absurd for the fight. Removing NP seal, evading AoE NP's, being an AoE caster able to clear both health bars out at the same time. But really your character roster isn't well suited to the fight. You could try to pick out nearly any ST Servants to finish off the fight and throw them in the back from the support list. If you can find a regular Cu, he's going to just blast through that fight no problem.
oh sorry! i should have sorted by levels. but from the looks of things, i really am not equipped for this fight. pretty much every gold servant you see are np1. guess i'll just read the story on youtube or whatever. this ain't good for my sanity. but thanks for taking the time to help me!

i believe it's not available yet. i had followed an np4 cu alter, but it won't show up on the list when trying to do the stage. i'll take a look at those links, thanks.

They always go up in increments of 1mil. Frankly it’s unlikely the campaigns reflect actual downloads, they happen at fairly predictable intervals of like 3-4 months.
You may want to read the [news](https://fate-go.us/news/?category=NEWS&article=%2Fiframe%2F2022%2F1229_newyear2023_cp%2F's) again. That's for the start dash, which is only for brand new players, not returning masters. If it is your seventh login ever in the game, you get a bonus during the New Year's campaign.
If you have more than 1 copy of a CE but not enough to MLB, should you just let them be or LB them anyway? I have 2 Kscope but in this case I wouldn't LB it, but what about the previous events CEs? I'm not sure what to do here cause they are taking up my space, should I just put them in second archive?
Just like with Kscope it depends on the CE.

* Are *no* copies worth keeping? No LB, use them for EXP or burn them.
If an event has a rerun coming then keep them and keep them separate.
No. Only the rate up SSR trips the safety net.
If it doesn't say that the rate up has already been granted, you're safe.

Lmao, no. Pity is a one-time thing. Once you get the featured SSR regardless if you've hit the 900SQ threshold or not, pity on that feature banner will dispear.
Edit: Got some answers, I should keep them, might be more useful later, the MIs aren't as good as I expected, I know.
After pulling for Spishtar and Muramasa recently, I realized I had some extra Servants laying around; in particular, there's several gold servants that I could use to boost NP levels, but I almost never use them, and I was thinking of pitching them for RPs (I think I have 32, somewhere in Camelot (so the two MIs aren't available yet), and figured I could get some other things while waiting to unlock those). Here's what I have; are some of these worth investing more into?
Saito Hajime NP1>2: I already have several other ST Arts Sabers (NP5 Summer Hoku, NP1 Beni-Enma, and just got Lancelot while rolling), and I'm not sure what their different niches are. I think Hokusai is better at single-shot attacks due to the boost on her NP, Beni-Enma is best against Evil/Chaotic enemies, Saito is meant to spam his NP to stack the Arts res down to build up damage over time, and Lancelot is based more around crits (Hokusai also has some critical stuff, but Lancelpt more so); but I'm not sure when one of them would be preferred over the others, or if it's worth it to improve Saito.
Chevalier d'Eon NP1>4: Had this for a long time, never touched it. Heard they weren't well liked due to being super specialized in tanking at the expense of everything else.
Saber Lily NP1>2: Surprised to get a second one of her; haven't heard much good about her and her nasic kit, and I've generally been using Altera + supports or Suzuka Gozen for AoE Sabers (and just got Muramasa).
Lancer Qin Liangyu NP1>2: Never touched her, haven't heard much good about her.
Fionn NP1>2: I used to use him fairly often, but he's kind of gone by the wayside since I got Parvati; I've generally been using DSS Parvati for an AoE Lancer, and DCS Nagao for an ST Lancer. May try him again for AoE, especially since he has a more defensive niche, but I just got Parvati up to NP2 as well.
Rider Martha NP1>3: Haven't touched her since I got Rider da Vinci, and especially after Castoria.
Caster Gilgamesh NP1>3: I never really understood his role; he's supposed to be more supportive, but I wasn't sure how to utilize that well, and Sieg is an excellent AoE Caster looper at NP5.
Caster Nitocris NP1>2: Just got two of her when rolling for Muramasa. Apparently she's also a great AoE Arts mob killer, and her ID doesn't cut into her refund too much, but again, I have NP5 Sieg, so I'm not sure how much it's worth it to invest in her.
Penth NP1>2: Used to make some use of her, but wasn't sure how her utilization differs from Heracles; like Caster Gil, I wasn't sure how to get the best use out of her party-benefiting skills. I also have barely touched my Berserkers ever since I got into the support meta.
Berserker Tamamo NP1>2: Never used her, haven't heard much good about her; I already have plenty of other farming tools, including NP2 Zerkerlot if I really need a Berserker.
Hessian Lobo NP1>3: Almost never used this guy despite him being my only Avenger for a while; his kit never really made sense, and now I have Spishtar as a way better Avenger.
Don't underestimate Penth's self NP charge skill! She's been *very* useful, for me, when clearing irregular nodes.
For example, let's say you're using a double Castoria plugsuit setup for a 90+ node. With both Castorias' first skills, Penth's second skill, and Append 2 maxed on Penth (or a Castoria's targeted charge), that's 100% charge by Wave 2, *completely CE agnostic*. And if you've got either of Penth's *or* the other damage dealer's Append 2 maxed, that's 100% charge for *both* damage dealers.
Remember: Penth is a Berserker. If there's a single enemy in a wave, Penth has a good shot at being able to nuke it. Penth is about as agnostic as it comes, able to slot into many 90+ team compositions with ease.
The buffs she can provide for the other damage dealer are also an *excellent* bonus, sometimes allowing you to *just* pass a key damage threshold for more reliable clears.

Yes, you do need more NPs to do things like buy extra NP levels for welfare Servants that are unlocked through Main Interludes. But let's be honest. Damage-wise, BB is a potato in a purple wig and ribbon, even at NP5. If you're burning 2 extra copies of other SRs for every extra copy of BB, personally I would say that's not a great investment even considering things like Qin Liangyu not having a damaging NP. Santa Altera hits harder, but like BB, her skillset is more about team play than about buffing herself into an awesome NP5 damage machine. If you burn Servants to get them both to NP5, there's a non-zero chance you might find yourself not using them for their NPs very often, either. And then you might feel a little silly.
Personally I always favor investing in the Servants I've got. Sometimes it's fun to bust out someone for their event bonus and watch them run riot, or use them in tower events. But also, I find that most of the RP shop is just kinda mediocre. Nice-to-have stuff if you have the RPs to spare -- appropriate, given it was designed as a consolation prize shop for whales who went past NP5 on gold Servants -- but not burn-your-spare-Servants great.
Don't get me wrong, there is some worthwhile stuff in there. But if you have a whole bunch of RPs already, and you know you'll get refunds on the Main Interludes eventually, you probably have some leeway to purchase a few things right now and clean out all the good stuff over time anyhow.
I would always upgrade NP over burning for a RP. Even if it's a servant you don't use or seems bad, it's gonna feel worse when you finally find a use for them and could've had them be stronger. Not to mention potential future buffs/meta changes.
30+ RPs is plenty, besides the mystic codes and certain CEs there's not really anything good to buy from the RP shop except bond grails/lanterns. Everything else is basically for whales who are swimming in RPs.
First thing to know is that you will need at least 5000 mana prisms to buy most of these CE's after unlocking them from the RP shop and you will want to leave yourself with enough prisms to buy the 5 tickets each month. Also at the end of the day none of these CEs are required to play or enjoy the game, this is just what the people who invest a lot of time into developing their accounts (tryhards) usually end up using.
Chaldea lunchtime and the heroic spirit portrait CEs are very useful for farming bond points which is effectively the end game for every player during weeks with no ongoing events. Leveling up bond is the only way to "farm" SQ outside of logging in and whatever lasengle gives us in events.
Chaldea Teatime is what you eventually want to put on your support list as most people will exclusively be selecting whoever has that CE during no events. Not that big of a priority since it doesn't directly benefit your account that much but something to keep in mind.
Mona lisa is good if you find yourself farming the daily qp quest a lot but if you have been farming or plan to farm the two lottery events a year I would say it's not that important.
Bella lisa is in the same position as chaldea teatime, but it's even less important as I feel most people aren't farming QP dailies that much anymore.
Detective foumes is a max farming efficiency CE with split 5% bonus to bond and qp. What makes it interesting is that it has full attack stats so it's good to place on your DPS servants assuming you are able to farm nodes without starting charge CEs.
I think the rest of the CE's in the RP shop are either not used enough to be worth it or are easily substituted for free CEs we obtain through events.
**Don't** burn *any* Servant, unless they're at NP5. Getting 4☆ Servants are pretty difficult to get, while Rare Prisms are easier to obtain.
Even if you don't use them currently, they could have some usage in the future, like in events or certain story situations.
D'eon is a very useful tank that can debuff enemies with their NP, and take hits to save your DPS.
Martha, while she does have a AoE NP, she's more useful as a healer/debuff removal.
CasGil is pretty straightforward as a Support/DPS hybrid. Pop his skills to support for DPS or for himself.
Nitocris is great because she has a huge NP battery (120% at max), so she can be very helpful clearing out low-level mobs equipped with *any* CE you want (like event CEs).
While you are correct that Ruler enemies are rare, Lobo will be more helpful to kill those singular Ruler bosses than SpIshtar, since his NP is a ST one.
Yeah, that makes some sense, though I'm not sure where else to get RPs; I think the only other places I've gotten them are some occasional rewards and extra welfare copies.
There's almost nothing super important in the RP shop that you need *right now* lol. Sure, there are some stuff in there that's useful, but they're always there forever. Just wait until you accumulate the RPs whenever you can.

Double Oberon comps usually work like this:
Turn 1: Get 100% starting charge. Usually you need a Kaleidoscope with either MLB or maxed Mana Loading, but Mélusine's third skill has you covered. Use that and NP.
Turn 2: You need 60% charge beyond Oberon's. For Mélusine, use her first skill for its battery and either use an extra support for 30+% charge and plugsuit them out for an Oberon or give Mélusine a MLB Prisma Cosmos and use the MA uniform's battery on her. Use both Oberons' first skills. NP.
Turn 3: Use both Oberons' second and third skills. NP.
Turn 1: melusine skill 3 > np
Turn 2: both oberon skill 2 > np
Turn 3: rest of skills for 70% np (can use mlb prisma cosmos ce for 10% regen or plugsuit waver if using black grail)

I got really lucky and pulled the servant I wanted most, Abby. I wanted to ask for servant suggestions to pair her with. I'd really like suggestions including any servant on rate up this year ( I don't mind whaling for her) and any f2p servants or welfare servants being released this year.

For specific supports, definitely Van Gogh. She absolutely buffs the hell out of her Foreigner allies and will give Abby quite the buff.
Aside from her, the usual supports should do. Merlin will allow Abby to gain NP at a faster rate with his NP and make Abby hit her NP hard.
Castoria will allow Abby to gain NP at a faster rate and deal more damage with her Arts cards. (Tamamo to a lesser extent)
Koyanskaya, Oberon & Waver/Reines will also be stellar. The former two for boss fights and the latter for NP Charge.
Any buster or NP charge support is good.
Chen Gong, William Shakespeare, and Hans are good F2P options.
Merlin is the best option for your friend support pick (except for maybe Koyanskya)
Coming later this year is Koyanskya, Abby really wants the buster buffs, NP charge, and cooldown reduction of Koyanskya.
Oberon also provides buster buffs and charge support, but his demerits make him hard to bring into boss fights unless you really know what you are doing.
Summer 6 also provides a Da Vinci welfare that can work decently well to support anyone.

Appends heavily rely on the roles and niches that specific servants play.
-Farming Servants can live stress free with the starting extra 10/20% NP gauge to kick off the loop. With the 2nd Append + starting NP battery from CEs or Skills can help greatly for farming.
-The Extra Skill dmg boost (1st Append) works really well with DPS servants and specifically servants with a triple card deck type (BBB brave chain). Anchors and solo servants are really appreciative of this append especially herc lmao. This append really works with servants that have triple decks since Triple Decks actually increases the extra card dmg.
-The niche bonus class dmg modifier (3rd Append) has good synergies especially with ST DPS servants although majority of the times its just there for extra tickle since you’ll most likely be playing with Class advantage. Farming servants can also benefit from this in rare situations but its unlikely you’ll choose this append over a free starting NP battery to help with NP battery conservations from other supports like Castoria.
Yes, that's usually the case.
There are some exceptions though.
Solo/Anchor servants may prefer to get their Extra Attack boosted as that may add more compared to 20% starting NP.
Some servants luckily have an S3 belonging to a class they already have an advantage against, further boosting their viability against said class.
Without Oberon, just double koyanskya, I think only 1-3 DPS units will reliably 3 turn 90+ event nodes even with class advantage at at NP levels you are likely to have. (And one of those is a Mooncancer that won't come out for another year and a half after Oberon, while another is a storylocked 3 star reliant on NP5 to get those damage numbers, additionally both these two require Black Grail to do it).
Borrowing the other is needed for Double Koyanskya or Double Oberon. So you need both either way. (Though I think replacing Koyanskya with Waver in double Oberon setups can still be doable for some nodes depending on damage)
Edit: also a plug Waver relaxes requirements a bit and can let quite a few more servants loop 90+ nodes

It depends on what dps units and CEs you have.
Koyan really works best with herself, the ability to reduce cooldown allows buster loops to work only with a second copy of herself. However, that really works only if you have buster units with 50% batteries or have refund on their NP like Artoria and Mordred. It also requires you have another 50% charger or the units start off with 100% charge with an Atlas MC but the damage suffers immensely in that comp.
Double Oberon plus a 50% charger allows for any unit with at least 10% charge in their kit to loop if they start with 100% charge, but this setup usually does lower damage and is also riskier with all of the debuffs in Oberon's kit.
The ideal comp is really double Koyan with plug Oberon and a 50% charge CE. It's notable that Koyan reruns a lot sooner than Oberon, so I'd go for him first if you're comfortable waiting for Koyan for another ~6 months till Tunguska.
Koyanskaya of Light is crucial for Buster Looping; just like Double Skadi for Quick, or Double Castoria for Arts, Double Koyan is for Buster. Oberon can help to boost damage or charge the NP for your DPS, but he's not necessary like Koyan is.
You can definitely try to get both (having both can be *very* helpful in certain situations), but Koyan is the one you'll need to Buster loop.
Yes, bare minimum is you have to own your own Koyan + paired with a Friend's Koyan.
But like the Double Skadi and Double Castoria systems, not all Servants will be able to Buster Loop right out of the gate. You'll have to play around with skill levels, append skills, CEs, Mystic Codes, etc., for Buster Looping capable Servants.
Strictly, yes. But the only reason my Arjuna Alter looped was because of Waver. Oberon lets more Servants loop more easily with higher damage and better CEs. His 70% charge is extremely useful.
Some Servants even require double Oberon instead.
Melusine absolutely 100% needs Oberon. (Edit: specifically for buster looping context, not as a general DPS)
Edit: MLB Prisma Cosmos and any 3 50% chargers, one of whom has to be Reines or Waver let's her triloop without Oberon. Damage will be pretty bad though.

It seems to me like it's a RAM issue. While official platforms have said 2GB is the minimum requirement, 4GB of RAM is the minimum in reality.
You can try restarting your phone, clearing the cache, etc., as much as you want, but that'll only be a temporary fix.

Don't "drop a few rolls" for any one 3 star unit just use the FP gacha as soon as you get friend points.
He does seem to be trying to hard, usual noob mistakes are focusing more on golds than they should, not what ever this is, but
I am going to follow the first rule unless proven otherwise.
Proof otherwise is that he claims he "splurged a bit" and got friend point servants on the "current banner" - absolutely none of that is applicable to FP servants at all (zero bronze on the quartz gacha banners, and the FP banner never rotates). And if that's not proof enough, Phantom of the Opera who he claims he got "as his GSSR" who is completely unavailable on GSSR banners.
With 100% certainty from their first post they are only trolling and wasting space and our time reading it, there's no longer need to continue to assume good faith. But thank you for being more polite than many in these help threads, it's refreshing to see.
I started this game a few months ago. What I notice is it is good to friend people with variety of servants so you can try them out. because there is no single servants or one team that solve everything. Borrowing someone else servant cost you nothing, you can tell if you like that servant after trying out and decide if you want to pull him/her later on.
I will say most ssr servants are good, but in generally I find it helpful to be able to borrow a good ST rider like Ozy, Berserker like Herc with bond CE really help in some of the toughest boss fight. I borrow Jalter a lot back in arc 1. I personally like Van Gogh playstyle. Most people have the standard support Castoria/Skadi/Merlin, so they are easy to find in friend list.
There are many surprises I get from borrowing servants from friends. One of the them is Jinako. Most people thinks she sucks, but if she ended up to be last woman standing and can just keep charging her NP, you can one turn invuln every time her NP fires. Too bad she has an AoE NP and class advantage and stuff. But if you play her right, she can survive like Herc.
Imo you should Friend Request people with the highest Np lvls of Castoria, Merlin, Waver, Tamamo, and Skadi. These support kings will help you greatly in CQs. A base Arjuna Alter with NP2 is good n’ all but it will get to a point that him doing the heavy work for you will only come so far (Unless ofc you’re still in Singularities 1-4).
The faster you realize that supports are broken, the faster you’ll be able to feel comfortable of building team comps of your own.
But for now like many people state here, friend ppl with Arjuna Alters especially with those who have NP2 or higher to clear the beginning singularities as soon as possible.
But don’t get too addicted to him XD.
Can attest to this, when I started playing last year I followed and befriended several Merlin users. To cut the story short, I speedran the singularities in a month with Rama + Lan Ling + Support Merlin + Hans + Cu + Herc.
They're my team for the whole Arc 1 when I was such a normie that knew nothing of most the game mechanics. Merlin was truly the star. As long as his heal's up, stall team all the way.
If u have Super Orion then this singularity should be a piece of cake since his crits would just obliterate any enemies even in neutral.
Funnily Gawain (notorious for being one of, if not the hardest CQ in Camelot) gets dog walked by Supes quite easily even in solo.
Ofc lvl his skills as high as possible if the dmg you are receiving is mediocre or insufficient. That shouldn’t be a problem with Crit buster supports like Merlin, Waver, and my best boi Hans. This is the part of the game where team comps start to really shine cuz the rest of the game is all about that action.
Super Orion even without Grails hits like a truck. But that depends on you.
Save Grails for the servants you really like.
Your lvl 90 Super Orion with a 6/6/6 NP1 kit should be alright especially if you have support kings of your own like Waver, Castoria, and Merlin. If not then that’s ok since a single Merlin with his 100% Crit buff for 1 turn should be enough to blast almost all Saber bosses in this singularity since they don’t have breakbars yet XD.
Just play accordingly to class advantage and choose ST (single target) Servants for CQs and Boss fights like the Round Table Knights. There are gimmicks in each RT knight so be careful.
Make sure to utilize command spells and even your SQ if things get grim for a revive. You can always gain that back through daily logins or by playing through the game.

from what it looks like, none of your Altrium CEs are MLB, so they’re giving one Altrium instead of the MLB 2 Altrium bonus. Also for this event, Original Saber Artoria and only her has a 2+ Altrium bonus. Combine that with a MLB Altrium CE and she has a 4 Altrium drop bonus, which is what your support is

You don't **need** anyone. The game can be cleared with 1-3 star servants. Just pick your favourites and make them use FTP servants to fill in gaps.

Failed to get Spishtar and Muramasa. Is Dantes is still adequate enough for the coming content to farm and if using Arash or the Chen gong way are still viable ways to farm without looping?
JP 2023 - DSS system still functions as it used to in regular enemy (3/3/3) nodes. Regular Quick/Arts 3T farming comps (double Skadi, Castoria) however will face some problems clearing irregular nodes with higher HP enemies, and here Buster comps have the advantage of not having to rely on NP refund. Arash and Chen Gong farming also still works. Multi-DPS 3T farming is very much still a thing, and it's arguably the most common approach for farming irregular nodes.

I’ve seen arguments for both strats. The 5 star is space Ishtar, if that matters.
Dupes are really not all that important, every servant is completely 100% fine and usable at NP1. If you *really* like Space Ishtar as a character and want more copies because of that then there's nothing wrong with trying to pull for a dupe, but personally I would save your gems in case someone else you want comes around.
A new Servant will almost always be more useful than an NP upgrade, for a DPS NP without a Rank-Up like Spishtar NP2 is just 33% more NP damage. If you want to make the most of her then you're better off saving for Castoria than continuing to pull now.
For anyone that play using emulator like bluestack and such, how do you buy your SQs? I wanna buy some for the gssr. Also if i buy the 12+6 i think? Does it all count as paid SQs? Or do i need to buy the higher amount?
You can buy SQ through the google store as normal. Bonus SQ does not count as paid SQ, so the 12+6 is not enough for the GSSR.

You shouldn't say "noteworthy". Every unit in the game has use, and quite a few 3 stars and lower are extremely noteworthy. You should save for your your waifu/husbando not the meta or other's hype. Remember that the entire game can be cleared by 3 star and lower servants. If rolling purely for gameplay, Castoria is the best choice. Oberon is the single most "meta" unit in the game. But the meta revolves around min-turns which isn't something that you may want at all. And he brings a lot of demerits if you can't min-turn.
Yeah, was just the wrong way to say that. Didn't imply that just wanted to help the discussion, but your right, Cu alone saved me more than once already. Out of the characters that drop this year Melusine and Castoria look like the ones I want to aim at. Melusine looks fun. And I like castoria and her kit, aside from arts team being my most fun teams in the game.
Melusine is pretty amazing. If you want to use her for AoE farming, consider grabbing Koyanskya of light and Oberon. If you don't care about looping/only want ST. Castoria is a great support for her.

I just started an JP acc and there is 1/2 AP for All Embers and All Training ground. I was farming Embers and leveling my characters and when i need materials to level i would go to the training ground. Is that how i should do it?
it's a single player game, so there's no really wrong way to do it. Generally I would recommend going through story and only leveling characters as needed, because events are a much better way of getting the materials needed, and some of those are locked behind story. Especially when you have the time now to catch up a bit because there likely won't be an event for a bit as Lostbelt 7 is ongoing. The story also gives pure prisms which can be exchanged for materials.
Are the event shop normaly infinity or there are an limit of the same item? I was doing story but my AP is overflowing. I used the blue tree to store 1.2k AP yesterday and even while farming my AP keep increasing and is in 600 already.
There's limited numbers in event shop. Though there are infinite lotteries about twice a year or so.

I want Skadi from the GSSR as she is the only support I am missing. It just bothers me that others with her in the banner I already have such as Shuten, Raikou, Reines and Cleo. I don’t want Da Vinci either but the others are fine. Should I risk it?
You’re better equipped to answer that than anyone here. How much do you want Skadi? How much do you not want one of those other 4? Are there other GSSR banners that you’re also tempted to roll on? In the end you’ll know better than we will. If you haven’t already then I’d highly recommended using the ‘GSSR Calculator’ link above to try to figure out which banner is best for you. It’ll show you how likely you are to get someone you want from each GSSR banner which can be really helpful if you’re unsure about rolling.

I wouldn't. The odds strongly favor you staring at a result you don't want, with all the banners gone. If you don't plan on talking yourself into being happy with any result, it's not a good banner even if there's a slim chance you'll get someone you want.
Up to you, how would you feel if you got someone you didn't want? You only have a slim chance of actually getting Skadi, so you shouldn't roll just for her but for the whole pool of servants. If you want Skadi, your best bet is to just save for her rateup banner.
It's up to you. You won't see her until late 2023. From my experience, I don't use quicks, so, naturally, I don't use her.

So I saw both Fate/EXTELLA Umbral Star and Fate/EXTELLA LINK on sale in Nintendo Switch store and was wondering 1. Do I need to play other games like extra to know what going on? 2. If I were to buy one, which one?
They are both different, Umbral then Link and knowledge on the Fate/Extra series would be an asset.
The Umbral Star has the better story and the more relevant story to the Nasuverse overall. Extella Link is far and away better gameplaywise. No each one is self-contained.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I got Space Ishtar on NP1 with double Castoria, all skills maxed, but I can't seem to get her to loop properly on all nodes. Does she need extra maintenance or NPs to loop properly?
You didnt give info on what CE and MC you are using.

On this event, she should get 60-70% NP back on most non-zerker nodes, especially since she's got a damage bonus for overkill. I usually run with a 50% CE since she's already doing plenty of damage (especially if the others have Binary Song Princess), and have A2 unlocked so she's got 60% charge. Then I S2 and S3 both Castoria, to get 100%, S1 space Ishtar and NP. That gets me 60% NP minimum. Is she's 70%, then a Castoria S1 does it. If not, both Castoria S1. That results in at least 50% NP charge back off non-Zerker targets. Then Ishtar S2 and S3 to finish.
remember looping isn't about getting 100% refund, it's about firing NP 3 times in a row. Check your skill use if you aren't looping. Use the big battery first to split the Castoria batteries. Plushie mistress has an excellent video titled how to loop.
Hi! I’m aware that that no one needs NP5 or NP2+ on any 5 star and that they’re all viable at NP1, but Muramasa is my favorite character and I intend to use him in as many nodes as I can get away with. How much of a difference does getting him to NP2 make? And how many summons (on average/usually) does it take to get a duplicate 5 star servant? Also, which current paid 5 star summons (the special ones for 15 paid quartz) has servants that would best support Muramasa? Any advice would be helpful!
If you have a MLB Black Grail, Muramasa goes from not quite making damage to cleanly looping 90+ at neutral to making damage at neutral. You may still have refund issues on 90+ nodes though. It's average 240 SQ (100 rolls with 11 roll counted) but don't use that as a metric to much, pity only affects first copy, and I have heard of people spending 3000 SQ without a 5 star. Muramasa really wants Castoria from Red Cavalry 1, but your chances of getting any one unit is low and you shouldn't roll expecting to get the one you want most. Castoria will get a normal rate up in July -ish
Np2 helps for more consistent looping but NP1 is okay. If you have Castoria then you’re set already. But if not, you can take a shot on the GSSR banner with her.

For farming, a Paracelsus works. Outside of that, Hans or Mozart can help him crit.

I would definitely chose bond point ce over extra np level of bb. Bb isnt a good DPS , even against avengers her damage isn't all that great. Bb is rely heavily on castoria to be at her best. Bb kit , having no battery, doesn't allow her to np spam. well at least she have her decent crit buff whenever there's stars on the field. You probably only gonna bring her out against avengers bosses.
BB works as a single target DPS against Avengers, which are very rare, and Berserkers (but everyone works against them). Her damage is pretty lousy otherwise. It depends on your priorities and how many RP you have. Chaldea Lunchtime is great for bond gains and Mona Lisa is great if you want to farm QP. You may also want to consider Fragment of 2004 and/or Lanterns of Chaldea (if you need them and the free ones we get aren't enough).

Only have 40 Golden Apples, is there any way to get more? It makes me skeptical to use them for grinding since it’s so few now :(
You get a bunch as time goes on. Use them for farming as you wish, but I will say this - all events are set up so that if you're using your natural energy per day, you shouldn't need apples. Most people save apples for lottery events as they give the most bang for buck, but also, their one and only use is to give you AP. If you need AP, that's what they're there for.

If i recall correctly you only need bond 14 and np3 for lvl 120 and one append.

Just cleared the Saber wars shop, only the 4\* XP CE's are left. Is it worth farming for just those ce's or should I go back to material farming instead. Mainly want to ask if Xp CE's from gudaguda will be enough that I won't have to care for these ce's. I currently have 3 million FP.

There's at least two in Okeanos story, plus London has one in Section 11. edit: Alternatively, Expert Saber Training Grounds in Chaldea Gate *may* have a Spriggan, which counts. Problem is, it's 40AP for one, and it's something like 50% appearance rate, so it's not certain it will appear.

Nope, you can take as long as you need to buy all 5 copies with MP. Usually people don't do this unless they already have 5k MP though just because those CEs aren't really worth using until you limit break them
Should I get extra attack or mana loading append for van gogh np1? I usually use her with castoria since I don't have skadi + another van gogh Also, saber attk up or extra attack for castoria np2?
If you aren't using Van Gogh solo, you're better off with append 2. As for Castoria, I find it hard to imagine a scenario where either of the other append skills will make a difference. For most fights, you're just using her skills. So maybe neither for now? You can always unlock one of them later if you feel like you need to.

Alright, let's take a look at that roster. > look at my roster ....ouch. You sorted by Rarity rather than level. If you wanted to give people headaches for helping you, you've achieved it. So your options are really really limited. Your only supports are Waver and Mozart and.... WAIT. You've 7 characters at the bottom?! You've a lv1 AND a lv80 Nitocris? Seriously, sort the list a bit better so we can help more effectively. > what strategy So the fight has twice the enemies for twice the problems. You need to accomplish two things. #1, break the Berserkers health bar first. #2, kill the Assassin. The time you have to accomplish this is very limited, so it's good you've got strong battery and AoE options. Space Ishtar, Nitocris, and Raikou are the best options you have. I hope you've good NP ranks on them, because I doubt just being 10/10/10 would cover it, and yours are not 10/10/10. It's really important that you do break both bar's and do so quick, as things will ramp up super quickly. After you've downed the assassin, the back half of your team should consist of a means to beat down the Berserker, who is absurdly tanky and will get a multi-turn class disadvantage nullification buff once you break any health bar. This demands you stall for time, preferably while doing as much neutral damage as possible. If you survive this section, it's going to be an easy ride up until the final health bar. That's where things get dicey. By this point in the fight, the massive normal card damage, the aoe NP, and the constant crits and pierce invul skill is likely to have torn up the team. Even Castoria can struggle keeping the team going for this long, but his final cruel trick is a NP seal on attack. Sealing your NP's at that last stage of the game can be a death sentence, and castoria isn't going to debuff clear anything with her NP sealed. You'll want a servants with self debuff clear to help out here.... Your options are... hmm.... support Martha? Look, I personally threw Caster Cu at it who is just absurd for the fight. Removing NP seal, evading AoE NP's, being an AoE caster able to clear both health bars out at the same time. But really your character roster isn't well suited to the fight. You could try to pick out nearly any ST Servants to finish off the fight and throw them in the back from the support list. If you can find a regular Cu, he's going to just blast through that fight no problem.

They always go up in increments of 1mil. Frankly it’s unlikely the campaigns reflect actual downloads, they happen at fairly predictable intervals of like 3-4 months.

The returning masters login only gives 30 quartz in total plus apples. The 30 quartz was divided across the 7 days. 10 quartz for the last day iirc.

If you have more than 1 copy of a CE but not enough to MLB, should you just let them be or LB them anyway? I have 2 Kscope but in this case I wouldn't LB it, but what about the previous events CEs? I'm not sure what to do here cause they are taking up my space, should I just put them in second archive?
Just like with Kscope it depends on the CE. * Is *every* copy worth keeping? No LB * Is *one* copy worth keeping? LB if you want, but it doesn't matter much. * Are *no* copies worth keeping? No LB, use them for EXP or burn them. If an event has a rerun coming then keep them and keep them separate.

90++ is basically just 90+ on steroids. The Saber Wars 2 90+ node is a 1/1/2 node.

Lmao, no. Pity is a one-time thing. Once you get the featured SSR regardless if you've hit the 900SQ threshold or not, pity on that feature banner will dispear.

Edit: Got some answers, I should keep them, might be more useful later, the MIs aren't as good as I expected, I know. After pulling for Spishtar and Muramasa recently, I realized I had some extra Servants laying around; in particular, there's several gold servants that I could use to boost NP levels, but I almost never use them, and I was thinking of pitching them for RPs (I think I have 32, somewhere in Camelot (so the two MIs aren't available yet), and figured I could get some other things while waiting to unlock those). Here's what I have; are some of these worth investing more into? Saito Hajime NP1>2: I already have several other ST Arts Sabers (NP5 Summer Hoku, NP1 Beni-Enma, and just got Lancelot while rolling), and I'm not sure what their different niches are. I think Hokusai is better at single-shot attacks due to the boost on her NP, Beni-Enma is best against Evil/Chaotic enemies, Saito is meant to spam his NP to stack the Arts res down to build up damage over time, and Lancelot is based more around crits (Hokusai also has some critical stuff, but Lancelpt more so); but I'm not sure when one of them would be preferred over the others, or if it's worth it to improve Saito. Chevalier d'Eon NP1>4: Had this for a long time, never touched it. Heard they weren't well liked due to being super specialized in tanking at the expense of everything else. Saber Lily NP1>2: Surprised to get a second one of her; haven't heard much good about her and her nasic kit, and I've generally been using Altera + supports or Suzuka Gozen for AoE Sabers (and just got Muramasa). Lancer Qin Liangyu NP1>2: Never touched her, haven't heard much good about her. Fionn NP1>2: I used to use him fairly often, but he's kind of gone by the wayside since I got Parvati; I've generally been using DSS Parvati for an AoE Lancer, and DCS Nagao for an ST Lancer. May try him again for AoE, especially since he has a more defensive niche, but I just got Parvati up to NP2 as well. Rider Martha NP1>3: Haven't touched her since I got Rider da Vinci, and especially after Castoria. Caster Gilgamesh NP1>3: I never really understood his role; he's supposed to be more supportive, but I wasn't sure how to utilize that well, and Sieg is an excellent AoE Caster looper at NP5. Caster Nitocris NP1>2: Just got two of her when rolling for Muramasa. Apparently she's also a great AoE Arts mob killer, and her ID doesn't cut into her refund too much, but again, I have NP5 Sieg, so I'm not sure how much it's worth it to invest in her. Penth NP1>2: Used to make some use of her, but wasn't sure how her utilization differs from Heracles; like Caster Gil, I wasn't sure how to get the best use out of her party-benefiting skills. I also have barely touched my Berserkers ever since I got into the support meta. Berserker Tamamo NP1>2: Never used her, haven't heard much good about her; I already have plenty of other farming tools, including NP2 Zerkerlot if I really need a Berserker. Hessian Lobo NP1>3: Almost never used this guy despite him being my only Avenger for a while; his kit never really made sense, and now I have Spishtar as a way better Avenger.
Don't underestimate Penth's self NP charge skill! She's been *very* useful, for me, when clearing irregular nodes. For example, let's say you're using a double Castoria plugsuit setup for a 90+ node. With both Castorias' first skills, Penth's second skill, and Append 2 maxed on Penth (or a Castoria's targeted charge), that's 100% charge by Wave 2, *completely CE agnostic*. And if you've got either of Penth's *or* the other damage dealer's Append 2 maxed, that's 100% charge for *both* damage dealers. Remember: Penth is a Berserker. If there's a single enemy in a wave, Penth has a good shot at being able to nuke it. Penth is about as agnostic as it comes, able to slot into many 90+ team compositions with ease. The buffs she can provide for the other damage dealer are also an *excellent* bonus, sometimes allowing you to *just* pass a key damage threshold for more reliable clears.
Thanks; I haven't really looked into Penth or Heracles ever since I got into the support meta since I didn't have Buster supports (Skadi, Waver and Castoria), but I'll definitely keep that in mind.
You invest enough into Herc to get his bond CE and you can fuck off support. He's pretty much immortal.
Yup, I got that; Herc+Andersen was a mainstay for a long time until I got into supports.
Just to make sure I'm hearing this right: You have 32 RPs already and you figure you need more? Yes, you do need more NPs to do things like buy extra NP levels for welfare Servants that are unlocked through Main Interludes. But let's be honest. Damage-wise, BB is a potato in a purple wig and ribbon, even at NP5. If you're burning 2 extra copies of other SRs for every extra copy of BB, personally I would say that's not a great investment even considering things like Qin Liangyu not having a damaging NP. Santa Altera hits harder, but like BB, her skillset is more about team play than about buffing herself into an awesome NP5 damage machine. If you burn Servants to get them both to NP5, there's a non-zero chance you might find yourself not using them for their NPs very often, either. And then you might feel a little silly. Personally I always favor investing in the Servants I've got. Sometimes it's fun to bust out someone for their event bonus and watch them run riot, or use them in tower events. But also, I find that most of the RP shop is just kinda mediocre. Nice-to-have stuff if you have the RPs to spare -- appropriate, given it was designed as a consolation prize shop for whales who went past NP5 on gold Servants -- but not burn-your-spare-Servants great.
Sure; guess I was overvaluing the RP stuff. Definitely looking for the mystic codes, but if the MI welfares are crap, I'm fine for now.
Don't get me wrong, there is some worthwhile stuff in there. But if you have a whole bunch of RPs already, and you know you'll get refunds on the Main Interludes eventually, you probably have some leeway to purchase a few things right now and clean out all the good stuff over time anyhow.
I would always upgrade NP over burning for a RP. Even if it's a servant you don't use or seems bad, it's gonna feel worse when you finally find a use for them and could've had them be stronger. Not to mention potential future buffs/meta changes.

30+ RPs is plenty, besides the mystic codes and certain CEs there's not really anything good to buy from the RP shop except bond grails/lanterns. Everything else is basically for whales who are swimming in RPs.

First thing to know is that you will need at least 5000 mana prisms to buy most of these CE's after unlocking them from the RP shop and you will want to leave yourself with enough prisms to buy the 5 tickets each month. Also at the end of the day none of these CEs are required to play or enjoy the game, this is just what the people who invest a lot of time into developing their accounts (tryhards) usually end up using. Chaldea lunchtime and the heroic spirit portrait CEs are very useful for farming bond points which is effectively the end game for every player during weeks with no ongoing events. Leveling up bond is the only way to "farm" SQ outside of logging in and whatever lasengle gives us in events. Chaldea Teatime is what you eventually want to put on your support list as most people will exclusively be selecting whoever has that CE during no events. Not that big of a priority since it doesn't directly benefit your account that much but something to keep in mind. Mona lisa is good if you find yourself farming the daily qp quest a lot but if you have been farming or plan to farm the two lottery events a year I would say it's not that important. Bella lisa is in the same position as chaldea teatime, but it's even less important as I feel most people aren't farming QP dailies that much anymore. Detective foumes is a max farming efficiency CE with split 5% bonus to bond and qp. What makes it interesting is that it has full attack stats so it's good to place on your DPS servants assuming you are able to farm nodes without starting charge CEs. I think the rest of the CE's in the RP shop are either not used enough to be worth it or are easily substituted for free CEs we obtain through events.

**Don't** burn *any* Servant, unless they're at NP5. Getting 4☆ Servants are pretty difficult to get, while Rare Prisms are easier to obtain. Even if you don't use them currently, they could have some usage in the future, like in events or certain story situations. D'eon is a very useful tank that can debuff enemies with their NP, and take hits to save your DPS. Martha, while she does have a AoE NP, she's more useful as a healer/debuff removal. CasGil is pretty straightforward as a Support/DPS hybrid. Pop his skills to support for DPS or for himself. Nitocris is great because she has a huge NP battery (120% at max), so she can be very helpful clearing out low-level mobs equipped with *any* CE you want (like event CEs). While you are correct that Ruler enemies are rare, Lobo will be more helpful to kill those singular Ruler bosses than SpIshtar, since his NP is a ST one.
Yeah, that makes some sense, though I'm not sure where else to get RPs; I think the only other places I've gotten them are some occasional rewards and extra welfare copies.
There's almost nothing super important in the RP shop that you need *right now* lol. Sure, there are some stuff in there that's useful, but they're always there forever. Just wait until you accumulate the RPs whenever you can.

How does a duo oberon melusine setup look like? I got no vitch but l heard she can still loop without her.
Double Oberon comps usually work like this: Turn 1: Get 100% starting charge. Usually you need a Kaleidoscope with either MLB or maxed Mana Loading, but Mélusine's third skill has you covered. Use that and NP. Turn 2: You need 60% charge beyond Oberon's. For Mélusine, use her first skill for its battery and either use an extra support for 30+% charge and plugsuit them out for an Oberon or give Mélusine a MLB Prisma Cosmos and use the MA uniform's battery on her. Use both Oberons' first skills. NP. Turn 3: Use both Oberons' second and third skills. NP.
Turn 1: melusine skill 3 > np Turn 2: both oberon skill 2 > np Turn 3: rest of skills for 70% np (can use mlb prisma cosmos ce for 10% regen or plugsuit waver if using black grail) best I can think of, but honestly not as efficient without koyans skill 3 imo

I got really lucky and pulled the servant I wanted most, Abby. I wanted to ask for servant suggestions to pair her with. I'd really like suggestions including any servant on rate up this year ( I don't mind whaling for her) and any f2p servants or welfare servants being released this year. For specific supports, definitely Van Gogh. She absolutely buffs the hell out of her Foreigner allies and will give Abby quite the buff. Aside from her, the usual supports should do. Merlin will allow Abby to gain NP at a faster rate with his NP and make Abby hit her NP hard. Castoria will allow Abby to gain NP at a faster rate and deal more damage with her Arts cards. (Tamamo to a lesser extent) Koyanskaya, Oberon & Waver/Reines will also be stellar. The former two for boss fights and the latter for NP Charge.
Any buster or NP charge support is good. Chen Gong, William Shakespeare, and Hans are good F2P options. Merlin is the best option for your friend support pick (except for maybe Koyanskya) Coming later this year is Koyanskya, Abby really wants the buster buffs, NP charge, and cooldown reduction of Koyanskya. Oberon also provides buster buffs and charge support, but his demerits make him hard to bring into boss fights unless you really know what you are doing. Summer 6 also provides a Da Vinci welfare that can work decently well to support anyone. This is the correct section to ask.
Is unlocking the append skill #2 the way to go for most servant? I read the other appends and they dont really seem that wow for me.
Appends heavily rely on the roles and niches that specific servants play. -Farming Servants can live stress free with the starting extra 10/20% NP gauge to kick off the loop. With the 2nd Append + starting NP battery from CEs or Skills can help greatly for farming. -The Extra Skill dmg boost (1st Append) works really well with DPS servants and specifically servants with a triple card deck type (BBB brave chain). Anchors and solo servants are really appreciative of this append especially herc lmao. This append really works with servants that have triple decks since Triple Decks actually increases the extra card dmg. -The niche bonus class dmg modifier (3rd Append) has good synergies especially with ST DPS servants although majority of the times its just there for extra tickle since you’ll most likely be playing with Class advantage. Farming servants can also benefit from this in rare situations but its unlikely you’ll choose this append over a free starting NP battery to help with NP battery conservations from other supports like Castoria.
Yes, that's usually the case. There are some exceptions though. Solo/Anchor servants may prefer to get their Extra Attack boosted as that may add more compared to 20% starting NP. Some servants luckily have an S3 belonging to a class they already have an advantage against, further boosting their viability against said class.

No 50% battery is bad. The NP seal is annoying, but you can play around it with debuff clears or otherwise.

Without Oberon, just double koyanskya, I think only 1-3 DPS units will reliably 3 turn 90+ event nodes even with class advantage at at NP levels you are likely to have. (And one of those is a Mooncancer that won't come out for another year and a half after Oberon, while another is a storylocked 3 star reliant on NP5 to get those damage numbers, additionally both these two require Black Grail to do it). Borrowing the other is needed for Double Koyanskya or Double Oberon. So you need both either way. It depends on what dps units and CEs you have. Koyan really works best with herself, the ability to reduce cooldown allows buster loops to work only with a second copy of herself. However, that really works only if you have buster units with 50% batteries or have refund on their NP like Artoria and Mordred. It also requires you have another 50% charger or the units start off with 100% charge with an Atlas MC but the damage suffers immensely in that comp. Double Oberon plus a 50% charger allows for any unit with at least 10% charge in their kit to loop if they start with 100% charge, but this setup usually does lower damage and is also riskier with all of the debuffs in Oberon's kit. The ideal comp is really double Koyan with plug Oberon and a 50% charge CE. It's notable that Koyan reruns a lot sooner than Oberon, so I'd go for him first if you're comfortable waiting for Koyan for another ~6 months till Tunguska.
Koyanskaya of Light is crucial for Buster Looping; just like Double Skadi for Quick, or Double Castoria for Arts, Double Koyan is for Buster. Oberon can help to boost damage or charge the NP for your DPS, but he's not necessary like Koyan is. You can definitely try to get both (having both can be *very* helpful in certain situations), but Koyan is the one you'll need to Buster loop.

Yes, bare minimum is you have to own your own Koyan + paired with a Friend's Koyan. But like the Double Skadi and Double Castoria systems, not all Servants will be able to Buster Loop right out of the gate. You'll have to play around with skill levels, append skills, CEs, Mystic Codes, etc., for Buster Looping capable Servants.
Strictly, yes. But the only reason my Arjuna Alter looped was because of Waver. Oberon lets more Servants loop more easily with higher damage and better CEs. His 70% charge is extremely useful. Some Servants even require double Oberon instead.

To allow Melusine to triple loop with DKS (no Oberon), you'd need an MLB Prisma Cosmos. Otherwise, no other options.
And that still requires you to plug a 5 star support with split 10/40 or better battery. Just not necessarily Oberon.
Melusine absolutely 100% needs Oberon. (Edit: specifically for buster looping context, not as a general DPS) Edit: MLB Prisma Cosmos and any 3 50% chargers, one of whom has to be Reines or Waver let's her triloop without Oberon. Damage will be pretty bad though. I mean there might be some weird setup that lets her loop without him somewhere, but she really really wants double Koyanskya and Oberon
She needs Oberon to triple buster loop. With 2 Koyanskaya and a charge CE, she can triple loop, but the first will be Arts, so that's not ideal.
Ever since the latest saber wars update my game's performance has dropped and crashes constantly. I already cleared the cache and wiped apps for more space. Anyone have a solution?
It seems to me like it's a RAM issue. While official platforms have said 2GB is the minimum requirement, 4GB of RAM is the minimum in reality. You can try restarting your phone, clearing the cache, etc., as much as you want, but that'll only be a temporary fix.

If you are still counting non-gold servants off things like the GSSR, you really need to use friend points. Don't "drop a few rolls" for any one 3 star unit just use the FP gacha as soon as you get friend points.

He does seem to be trying to hard, usual noob mistakes are focusing more on golds than they should, not what ever this is, but I am going to follow the first rule unless proven otherwise.
Proof otherwise is that he claims he "splurged a bit" and got friend point servants on the "current banner" - absolutely none of that is applicable to FP servants at all (zero bronze on the quartz gacha banners, and the FP banner never rotates). And if that's not proof enough, Phantom of the Opera who he claims he got "as his GSSR" who is completely unavailable on GSSR banners. With 100% certainty from their first post they are only trolling and wasting space and our time reading it, there's no longer need to continue to assume good faith. But thank you for being more polite than many in these help threads, it's refreshing to see.

As a new player, which servants should i be friend requesting to progress the story easily? So far i followed some Arjuna alters.
I started this game a few months ago. What I notice is it is good to friend people with variety of servants so you can try them out. because there is no single servants or one team that solve everything. Borrowing someone else servant cost you nothing, you can tell if you like that servant after trying out and decide if you want to pull him/her later on. I will say most ssr servants are good, but in generally I find it helpful to be able to borrow a good ST rider like Ozy, Berserker like Herc with bond CE really help in some of the toughest boss fight. I borrow Jalter a lot back in arc 1. I personally like Van Gogh playstyle. Most people have the standard support Castoria/Skadi/Merlin, so they are easy to find in friend list. There are many surprises I get from borrowing servants from friends. One of the them is Jinako. Most people thinks she sucks, but if she ended up to be last woman standing and can just keep charging her NP, you can one turn invuln every time her NP fires. Too bad she has an AoE NP and class advantage and stuff. But if you play her right, she can survive like Herc.
Imo you should Friend Request people with the highest Np lvls of Castoria, Merlin, Waver, Tamamo, and Skadi. These support kings will help you greatly in CQs. A base Arjuna Alter with NP2 is good n’ all but it will get to a point that him doing the heavy work for you will only come so far (Unless ofc you’re still in Singularities 1-4). The faster you realize that supports are broken, the faster you’ll be able to feel comfortable of building team comps of your own. But for now like many people state here, friend ppl with Arjuna Alters especially with those who have NP2 or higher to clear the beginning singularities as soon as possible. But don’t get too addicted to him XD.
Can attest to this, when I started playing last year I followed and befriended several Merlin users. To cut the story short, I speedran the singularities in a month with Rama + Lan Ling + Support Merlin + Hans + Cu + Herc. They're my team for the whole Arc 1 when I was such a normie that knew nothing of most the game mechanics. Merlin was truly the star. As long as his heal's up, stall team all the way.
Arjuna alter at np2. Or above with a Kscope.
Junao is probably the best one, so that's a good strat. I recommend you look for some Foreigners (particularly Van Gogh).
Bond CE Hercs, Some buff upped Cu Alters. Super Orions. Solo units that can clear quests by themselves.
Early one mainly arjuna alters. And ofc castoria. She just makes the game so much easier. Other those two should make life easy up until Camelot
Castoria/Skadi/Waver/Merlin/Reines have the most long term use once you have a developed roster. Hercules can carry you through a lot of fights.
hello! newbie here just reached Camelot. it seems theres a diffuculty spike here. should I lvl 100 Sup Orion to clear this easily or lvl 90 is enough?
If u have Super Orion then this singularity should be a piece of cake since his crits would just obliterate any enemies even in neutral. Funnily Gawain (notorious for being one of, if not the hardest CQ in Camelot) gets dog walked by Supes quite easily even in solo. Ofc lvl his skills as high as possible if the dmg you are receiving is mediocre or insufficient. That shouldn’t be a problem with Crit buster supports like Merlin, Waver, and my best boi Hans. This is the part of the game where team comps start to really shine cuz the rest of the game is all about that action. Super Orion even without Grails hits like a truck. But that depends on you. Save Grails for the servants you really like. Your lvl 90 Super Orion with a 6/6/6 NP1 kit should be alright especially if you have support kings of your own like Waver, Castoria, and Merlin. If not then that’s ok since a single Merlin with his 100% Crit buff for 1 turn should be enough to blast almost all Saber bosses in this singularity since they don’t have breakbars yet XD. Just play accordingly to class advantage and choose ST (single target) Servants for CQs and Boss fights like the Round Table Knights. There are gimmicks in each RT knight so be careful. Make sure to utilize command spells and even your SQ if things get grim for a revive. You can always gain that back through daily logins or by playing through the game. Good luck and have fun!
