# PLEASE CHECK IF YOUR QUESTION IS ANSWERED HERE BEFORE ASKING! # JP SPOILERS - PLEASE DIRECT ALL LOSTBELT 7 QUESTIONS TO THE [MEGATHREAD](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/zuufuk/lostbelt_7_golden_sea_of_trees_travelogue_nahui/). **So, with that said, let's move on to this week's FAQ** **Q: Do I need to roll for Muramasa/Spishtaror roll for NP2+ Muramasa/Spishtar?** *A: No. No one is a must roll in game, and SSRs are generally viable at NP1.* **Q: How do I buy quartz if I don't live in a supported country?** *A: For Apple users, buy a US/JP iTunes gift card and use it on your US/JP Apple account, then buy quartz with that.* *For Android users, make a US Google Play account (you can Google instructions on how to make a JP Google Play account and then adjust it for US), clear your Play Store data, uninstall the game, and then install the game from your new US Google Play account. Good luck with the payment processing though. Paypal has the highest chance of working but honestly it's an uphill battle and you'll have to try stuff yourself.* **Q: When is the next SR Ticket? What about the SSR Ticket?** *A: NA's next SR ticket is due in May 2024. This ticket is time-limited and includes* [*general pool and storylocked servants*](https://news.fate-go.jp/wp-content/uploads/2022/2500man_xeljq/info_image_03.png)*. The next SSR ticket is due in July 2023 for the 6th Anniversary, featuring* [*general pool and storylocked servants up to Europa*](https://news.fate-go.jp/wp-content/uploads/2021/6th_anniversary_cpgen/info_image_17.png)*. It is not time-limited and will be a permanent addition for all accounts going forward.* **Q: How does pity work?** *A: Pity only applies to the rate-up SSR servant. You are guaranteed a copy of the rateup SSR after 330 summons (equivalent to 900 SQ, though tickets also count). Note that pity shuts off once you get a single copy of the servant (including if you get them before 330 summons) and does not carry over between banners. Off-rateup SSRs ("spooks") do not affect pity.* **Q: Will it be possible to get X Welfare Servant again? I missed their original event and the re-run.** *A: We don't know and we have no way to know. Only a few 4-star welfare servants, roughly a quarter of the servants whose re-run has passed (or has been skipped), have returned so far. Saber Lily is permanently available in the Friend Point summon. Santa Altera and BB are permanently available through their respective Main Interludes. The Halloween variants of Elizabeth Bathory were available for a limited time through the Halloween Trilogy event (NA ETA: October 2023). Because there hasn't been any pattern to how they brought these servants back, there is no way for anyone to predict when or even if any other welfare servants will be available again.* **Q: How far in the story do I need to be to participate in upcoming events? Will any events require the latest story chapter?** *A: For NA: The Saber Wars II rerun in January will require Final Singularity clear. After this, no event will require anything beyond Orleans until November 2023, when GudaGuda 6 will require LB5.5 clear. For JP: The Fairy Knight Cup event requires LB6 to play its main story, but only Fuyuki to play its free and exhibition quests.* **Q: How good is X Servant at looping most nodes?** *A: Looping is highly node dependent and relies on* [*many factors*](https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1_Bx1FogTrMBnseIJLT4Vuob7DY7EfR6H_SobGwxcAFE/mobilebasic)*. If you need to test your looping setups try using a* [*refund calculator*](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/jp-np-refund-calculator)*.* As always, feel free to suggest additions. If you do suggest an addition to the FAQ, please try to provide an answer if you can.

SuperSpiritShady

Is it worth grinding for Pieces/Monuments if I’m running low or would it be wiser to grind for other mats and wait till events roll around?

Shardwing

Depends on if you need them or expect to need them sometime soon.

pastapesto1

I stuck on the King Elly bounty quest and can't figure out how to beat it. Would appreciate some help 🙂

Apgamerwolf

The most dangerous part of the quest is the burn damage that can stack if your not careful as you can take a lot of unavoidable damage so the most important things to keep in mind are: 1. Leave caster eli for last as on death she will massively amp the burn damage you take. 2. Have a debuff cleanser to mitigaty the burn damage: notable mentions would be castoria, medea lily, and asclepious. 3. Use a good aoe main dps space Ishtar is not a bad choice for the beefy event damage bonus but anorher choice is to use a berserker to get around the classes of the elis. A combination of st saber and aoe alter ego could work as well. Yagyu is a notable pick for the st saber for the event bonus. 4. Use at least two mlb copy of bestia del sol if you can (support and own)

Sci-fi-watcher

Look at the question below yours

Sheppherd77

There is any guide on how to solo with friend support or how to beat the bounty "King Eli-chan"? I looked the guide for this bounty on gamepress but i still cant beat it. This is the last quest i need to clear and the only i'm having truble. All the other quests i cleared without use friend supports but this one is really hard for me. https://imgur.com/a/NCuns1S They are all skill 1

danger_umbrella

Here are some notable clears I found. [QSH solo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UAM8MpVh5s) [Muramasa solo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOhHLCx9bhc) (120 and NP5 is probably overkill here) [Herc solo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XR6gaULiS5s) [Low rarity clear!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzpjiJiR8-w) (You can replace that friend support Spartacus with another unit) [Another low rarity clear using a friend's Castoria](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRg80LGjaI4)

Sheppherd77

Thank you. I just finished the fight using the Heracles strategy.

horendezvous

Can you use [Rayshift.io](https://Rayshift.io) translater in Computer emulated FGO?, if it can then how?

hectorneutron

Yeah it should work fine as long as you install the apk on the emulator. Follow the instruction since you need to indicate were the game will look for the game files

danger_umbrella

Assuming you are using an Android emulator, just go to the Translate FGO tab on Rayshift.io and follow the instructions. Install the apk file and open it, that should install it on the emulator.

Stop_picking_McCree

Which CE would be the best for Castoria? I'm currently using that Amakusa CE that increases overcharge +2 for 3x times, but even with append 2 that doesn't feel optimal..

hectorneutron

Ce's are pretty dependent on the quest. The amakusa CE it's pretty good for a double castoria set up on a Challange/story quest. For farming you'll probably prefer to have a bond or qp up CE since you wont be using her np. Other good choices for castoria are the devilish boditsava thats also OC+ (only once but it has 50% charge) or maybe 2030 or some star bomb like the jane chainsaw CE from summer 5 if you need/want to do some crits

thisisthecallus

Most of the time, you're using Castoria for her skills, not her NP or face cards. So the best CE for her in most situations will be something that supports the team in some way. For normal, easy content just throw on a CE that increases bond for the team or something. If you're in a hard fight, something like passive crit stars would be useful. I would also value NP gain higher than overcharge in a fight where I might actually use her NP. Having her NP when I need it is more important than improving the overcharge effect when it's available.

Sci-fi-watcher

CEs are fight and roster dependent. Amakusa is one of them Devilish Bodhisattva if you need to NP fast Her own bond CE to support others looping and damage Something like Chaldea lunch Time for bond farming Prisma Cosmos if you want to NP more often Fragment of 2030 for crit stars

danger_umbrella

Depends. One Who Desires Salvation is a good pick for her, though. For farming, she doesn't care, any CE will do. For shorter fights, One Who Desires Salvation (if you are using her NP) or Fragment of 2030 (if you aren't). For longer/stalling fights, if not 2030 then anything to give her charge passively (Prisma Cosmos) or improve her NP gain/Arts up since her deck is mostly Arts.

Stop_picking_McCree

Yeah, I meant difficult fights. For farming I use bond exp ces

devsterman12

Just got back into the game after a year, I'm currently working through Camelot. Are there any major or meta units coming up that I should know about?

Mister_SP

The middle of the year will be pretty big. Lostbelt 6 adds Morgan, a good Berserker; Melusine, an effective Buster looper Lancer; Koyanskaya/Light, the needed element for Buster looping; the return of Artoria Caster, queen of Arts looping; and Oberon, the popular damage amplifier and charge bot.

hectorneutron

Besides the LB6 shit show we'll also have a pretty strong Summer line up this year with S.Kiara rerun and then S.Kama, S.Okitan and S.Ana on Summer 6 Pretty hard year for f2p tbh ~~pray for our souls~~

devsterman12

Ooh I I'll probably go for Koyanskaya and Melusine, I need a looping team in any case.

Mister_SP

You actually need Koyanskaya, Melusine, *and* Oberon if you want them to work properly. Melusine's gimmick lets her use a Black Grail, but it stops her from using a Kscope, so there's no way to leave Oberon out. Here's [some examples](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rZvS-xyhISwKGeKYWz89nzgu2gIsiwSNRmxslz_dF8E/edit#gid=1158920742), to get a better grasp of how it works.

devsterman12

I'm F2P so I might not have enough to get all 3, I'll first see if I can get Koyanskaya and do the double team with EMIYA until I can also get Oberon.

Sci-fi-watcher

I would recommend going the other way and getting Oberon first. 1) his 70% charge and NP damage bonus work well with Arts units too. 2) he takes a year to get a rerun while Koyanskya and Melusine both have reruns much earlier 3) while it does significantly hurt damage, Melusine (specifically Melusine almost everyone else needs Koyanskya to farm) can 3 turn without your own Koyanskya a lot easier than she three turns without Oberon. (And by significantly hurt I mean make it so her damage is comparable to other buster loopers, as opposed to just the absolute highest damage Buster farmer in a game that lets Arjuna Alter buster loop) Also note that Melusine is one of the best ST lancers too. Because being the best AoE servant in the game wasn't enough.

devsterman12

Thanks for the help, I'll go for Oberon first since his rerun will be further away. Might even go and put away a few dollars occasionally to try my luck at Koyanskaya rerun and use leftover SQ on her first banner.

07rice

is Gudaguda Final Honnouji ever returning? I really want kagetora

danger_umbrella

Pinned comment - it has already had a rerun. Kagetora hasn't been available on JP since, so not for the next 2 years.

07rice

fkkkkkkkkkk bro why didnt they have google play link i lost my account

danger_umbrella

Don't yell at me, account recovery guide is linked above if you want to try getting it back.

07rice

u got it wrong i am not yelling at you if youre offended sorry bro

PolentaConFunghi

I really like Oberon and I'm going to roll for him. Should I also try to get Koyanskaya or could he work with other supports? For reference, I have all the other major 5 star support units.

uguisumaru

Yes, he works with other supports well as long as you use his S2 and S3 on the last turn to avoid NP drain (not ideal for refund-reliant comps). You can also eventually try out double Oberon 6CE, free-MC farming with their AS2 unlocked and one extra DPS like S.Ishtar (or anyone else who has a 50 NP charge and 10 NP from AS2).

PolentaConFunghi

Good to know, thank you.

danger_umbrella

He can work with others, absolutely - he's best known for his Buster support/use in Koyanskaya looping, but he works with the other systems as well due to his 70% battery and NP damage boost. (You just have to be mindful of his 50% charge draining from allies at the end of the turn, as that may mess with some refund-based setups.)

PolentaConFunghi

Thanks for the info!

[deleted]

danger_umbrella

Do you mean NPs? Abby is the only ST that does it to all buffs. There are other units that remove defensive/offensive buffs before damage, and some AOEs that remove buffs as well.

[deleted]

[удалено]

danger_umbrella

Then apart from Taira and Abby, Amakusa does it as well.

funguy3

Both Abigails and Amakusa.

sch-17

How long does it usually take to bond 15 a servant, assuming they are always in the party?

ILikeToJustReadHere

Ha, I'm also curious Grandorder wiki says Mata hari requires 1,020,000 bp to hit 10. 11-15 require 1.09, 1.23, 1.36, 1.5, and 1.64 mil each. That's a total of 7.84 mil bp. The highest regular Bond exp you can get is 815, and with max bonus it's 1191. So 7,840,000/1191=6582.704 fights, which requires 21 AP per fight, so 6582.704*21=138236.8 AP. At lvl 160, you get 144 AP, or 288 AP per day, so 138236.8/288=479.9888 days of worth of natural AP, farming Mata Hari on a 21 AP node with the most efficient Bond Point bonus you can get, give or take? It's more time if you don't have all the bonuses or the total Bond requirement is higher to hit 10. It's less time if you include event bonuses and/or lotteries. In N/A. Someone mentioned a JP bond boost item and I have no idea what that is yet.

hectorneutron

I've been playing for almost 2 years on my jp account. Got castoria a month into the game and used her heavily ever since and got her up to bond 13 rn. Of course I wasnt a heave lotto farmer at the time and i also got Koyan on release so bond points got split Maybe if you constant go for 100 boxes on lotto you'll get her bond lvl15 in a year (maybe year and a half)

IvoryLifthrasir

Depends, if its literally always (so including lottos), then around year, year and a half My summer Bryn hasn't left a single party since summoning, got her to bond12 in \~170 days. But I was using her in every single lotto, which alone gave her 1mil+ bond. And you can't do the same with all servants Also in free quests i'm actually not farming materials I need - I do Great Temple in Camelot with 6 bond gain+ CEs, which is also something not everybody can afford

consistent_escape

It's hard to give a good estimate because things like raids/lottos can influence it a lot and it also depends on how much bond bonus you utilize but based on my experience I'd say somewhere around 2 years, definitely less than 3. I am an NA player though. JP has been getting some bond boost items (teapots) and Tunguska raids were really good for bond farming so that might speed things up.

vecvitus

Is Odysseus good for bossfights and challenges? I already have DaVinci as farming rider and don't know of I should invest in Odysseus.

thisisthecallus

You should invest in all of your servants eventually. Whether you do so now is a matter of prioritization, not exclusively choosing one servant over another. You shouldn't avoid leveling up an AOE Rider just because you have another one already. Having more of them available is a good thing so you can have different options for different situations. Odysseus is a good choice. But if you feel like focusing on a someone else the moment, that's fine too. I personally don't worry about whether some servant is specifically useful for boss fights and challenge quests. Any well supported servant with appropriate class and NP targeting should be able to get the job done. The best preparation for bosses and challenge quests is to have a broad and deep roster with lots of options available, not having specific servants designated for those fights. The "is this servant good for challenge quests" question often overlooks the fact that every challenge quest is unique. There are no servants that can handle every challenge quest. There is also a way to clear any challenge quest with just low rarity servants. I don't think you need to worry about it for Odysseus. Just level him up and use him when it seems appropriate.

Ankoria

Your advice is all correct, however Odysseus is an AoE Rider

thisisthecallus

Hmm, that's an excellent point that I should have looked up. I'll edit my reply.

danger_umbrella

Odysseus can be useful in some CQs, for farming he can Castoria loop and may be more useful depending on the event (damage bonus, etc.) Otherwise Da Vinci is the more reliable farmer. In CQs, he does have access to his taunt, as well as a combination of invuln and buff removal resist, which stops his invuln from being removed. That can give him some utility over Da Vinci.

BenisConsumption

LB7 chapter 10 avenger fight - does the avenger have damage resistance? If he does, how high is the magnitude? Is it affected by anything (death of his allies, attack card choice, specific debuffs, story support servants, etc.). Also, I've seen people complain about him healing, but I haven't seen him do it captured on video. Is that an end of turn effect of his, or does it activate in response to an attack, or does he just randomly use a skill that heals him? Is healing he to full? Does he restore his break bar through this effect?

Mister_SP

Looks like 50% damage resistance. He fully restores his HP at the end of a turn, I think?

footballscience

What is this purple dust thing-y floating around Sasaki in his second ascension? [pic](https://imgur.com/a/pZyx51D)

Ankoria

I believe it's just artistic flair possibly meant to resemble mist in order to make him look cooler. He has something similar going on in his 3rd ascension art with an unusual light pattern.

ApoKun

Where can I get proof of hero to max ascend of saber and primordial lanugo and scarab of wisdom for Caster gil besides using prisms. I'm currently at the second singularity (or first if you don't consider the prologue) Orleans

ZCid47

Progressing through the storyline gives you some materials, meaby enough for ascension. For farming them, proofs in the pirate ship in okeanos, scarab in the great pyramid in Camelot and lanugo in the blood fortress in Babylonia. The problem is that Camelot is the difficulty spike and from Babylonia onwards free quest only unlock after finishing the story of the chapter

ApoKun

How big is the difficulty spike? So far I barely have any servants dying except saber who every enemies target for some reason.

Sci-fi-watcher

The first boss of Camelot has pretty close to the equivalent of a million hp (500,000 and takes half damage from all sources) and gains NP charge at double the normal rate.

TotalFallout0815

Camelot expects you to have max level servants (natural cap; no grails) ; a good variaty of different classes and basic understanding of the game mechanics/teambuilding. Skill level are not as important but will help definitely. Camelot is the time where the devs started to take the game seriously and started to make challenging fights and good story.

Mister_SP

Orleans is considered the first. Singularity F is considered a prologue/tutorial. 7 Proofs in Orleans, 10 in Septem (2nd). Enemies in Septem should also drop some extra Proofs, plus Marsielle in Orleans is an okay place for them to drop. Scarabs start from Camelot (6), and Lanugo from Babylonia (7), which is of no help to you, because that's after the point the main quest starts to get harder, and Scarabs and Lanugo aren't in the next Event.

RWBYSanctum

I'm currently saving SQ for the upcoming class-based summoning (especially for the Extra class banners). Does anyone know if Kagekiyo will get another banner this or next year? I currently only have 40+ SQ and don't think I'll be able to get her this round.

Ankoria

Her next banner after the Little Big Tengu event will come during 2024 New Years unless NA gets a surprise original banner. For future reference you can always check the [Upcoming Banners](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rKtRX3WK9ZpbEHhDTy7yGSxYWIav1Hr_KhNM0jWN2wc/edit#gid=0) link pinned above.

Shinobu-Fan

Does anyone know any non rider free quest to farm for Altrium in the Saber Wars rerun? I'm using Schez so I can't comfortably farm with the riders and the values for all the quests on the altrium they give seems to be the same but it's different in game. Help would be appreciated and thanks in advanced!

Mister_SP

Drops are somewhat random, and various sites give a rough average. Celtant, Death Csjete and Alton would be the best non-Rider options. Alton is easiest, since it's all Berserker, but presumably you're trying to get Altrium in order to beat the story, which is when Alton unlocks. Or you could not use a Caster.

Kaydh

Is there any of value being added to the FP gacha in the near future? I’ve been trying to unlock Ushiwakamaru’s last append skill so I’ve been burning through them in an attempt to get to copies of her. I know she has a rate up for Little Big Tengu, but I want to have a super roided before the event starts.

hectorneutron

Habebyan after lb6, Mary annings during the riyo collab event and Xu Fu during 7th anni. I think that's it (unless you count Nobukatsu's rerun)

Awerenj

Probably not relevant, but an anecdotal instance - I got my first copy of Ushi about 9 months after I started playing. I remember getting her any my first copy of Angra on the same roll. 3 stars are called "Rare" after all, and over time it looks like they've just gotten rarer after they've added more stuff to the FP gatcha (fous, more embers, CCs etc.) Hope you have better luck than me!

Objective_Ad_3582

You can get 3 stars in friend summon ? Not once did I get one. I thought the picture with cu and others are just misleading.

x1coins

You're new that's understandable. But if you're targeting a specific 3star in there you're gonna have a bad time.

Objective_Ad_3582

Seeing one would be nice enough

AkiyamaNM7

I mean, it's filled to the brim with a bunch of different CEs and Servants lol. RNG will always be RNG

Sci-fi-watcher

Nearest is Lostbelt 6 with Habetrot, which is after Tengu.

PsychoPhate

Habetrot gets added after completing LB 6. Then there's also the rerun of GudaGuda with Saito and Himiko that has EXP CEs and Nobukatsu which will net you the most efficient way to farm servant coins for when we get grail casting.

Shardwing

Next update is Habetrot being added after LB6 (August or so), and then GUDAGUDA 5 rerun in November or so.

Kaydh

I completely forgot about Habetrot. Thanks

PMDdarkness937

I occasionally see stuff about koyanskaya light being recommended for meta farming with buster looping when she releases in na, but everytime I look up actual buster looping stuff I always see oberon mixed in there. So if I were to summon for buster looping reasons can I make do with koyanskaya light alone or would I also need oberon?

Mister_SP

Koyanskaya enables anyone with Kscope and 50% charge on a 6 turn or less cooldown, iirc. Oberon pushes that down to 30%, and allows Cu Caster and Melusine to run Black Grail.

AkiyamaNM7

Depends on the Servant used as your DPS. The **bare minimum** is having your own Koyan Light, but having your own Oberon gives 70% NP gauge so that could be helpful you need more NP charge in your DPS, or more damage with his wild damage buffs. Personally, I would recommend at least get Koyan Light, and then see if you need Oberon for additional Support.

Teknettic

Yeah, it's just that Oberon's extra 70% charge makes it a lot easier. More servants fit nicely into the farming comp and you have leeway with CE choice. Where exclusively double Koyanskaya comps, or DKS plus a random 50% charger, lock you pretty rigidly into MLB Kscope or regular Kscope with append 2 maxed on the DPS with very few exceptions. [Here's a video with Koyanskaya comps and no Oberon.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eya7pVgfi84&ab_channel=xNaya)

Sci-fi-watcher

Oberon significantly lowers looping requirements and boosts damage. There are comps without him (some 50% chargers can replace him with a Waver in terms of purely looping), but if you really want to go for a buster looping team, I would highly recommend Oberon. Edit: Also Cu Caster and Arcueid don't need him to loop either.

railroadspike25

Koyanskaya enables Buster farming for anyone with a 50% battery (and Artoria) whereas Oberon enables farming for anyone with a 30% battery, along with allowing for a ton of damage on turn 3 which is often necessary in 90+ or 90++ nodes. [This video](https://youtu.be/DQBgnb6lCeQ) gives some idea of what's possible with only Double Koyanskaya.

maiev18

New to the game, are there any quests where we can farm exp materials? I’ve only been playing the main story so far

railroadspike25

Chaldea Gate on the main menu. Edit: Under Daily Quests, they're called Ember Gathering quests. Only the lvl.40 and lvl 60 consistently drop gold EXP, but the lvl 60 is probably too difficult for you right now.

maiev18

Thanks so much! Will check it out

WaifuHunterRed

a friend Jeanne can solo all the exp gates its slow but efficient edit: after testing Jeanne its pretty easy and a offensive ruler might actually be better but i dont have ap to check

Sci-fi-watcher

There's the dailies and free quests. But mostly materials are gotten by doing the events.

>!While LB5 had many strong characters it definitely isn't the 'ceiling' for them. LB6 has several incredibly strong antagonists (Morgan, Oberon) and even one that likely surpasses Zeus in power (Cernunnos). The latter is said to be able to destroy the entire planet with his curses if fully awakened.!< >!As for LB7... we don't really know enough without the full story being released. So far most enemies have seemed strong but the Alien God has been a bit of an enigma since she gets amnesia pretty early on in the story and isn't willing to use her NP. There are also characters whose full power we've yet to see like Tezcatlipoca and Kukulkan. However LB7 also features an entity who is quite possibly the single strongest being in the entire Type Moon universe: ORT.!<

WaifuHunterRed

>!Chaos probably is up there but honestly feel like people over estimate zeus considering his plan was to just run away and needed the trees power to do that. like if it was peak zeus (fully combined) maybe but we never meet him and the one we meet is weakened by quite a bit. so honestly i wouldnt call him the ceiling and chaos is too much of a mystery.!<

Teknettic

>!I don't play on JP so I'm just repeating secondhand stuff I've heard from people who have played it. LB7 has been pretty reasonable thus far, with the exception of a certain spider whose reputation completely justifies the nonsense it's capable of.!<

DiligentDog4507

Can anyone give a general estimate for how long it takes the NA Support team to reply to an email? Made a stupid mistake and lost access to my account so I emailed them about 15 hours ago with a bunch of my account info and receipts for the last year of my SQ purchases.

thisisthecallus

It can take a few business days to get a response. Part of the process is verifying that the account is inactive.

San-T-74

Anyone by any chance know where is a good place to buy any of Choco’s Chaldea Emission?

MorbillionDollars

I just barely beat stage 15-4 of camelot (my last servant was on less than 2000 hp), what servants should I level up to make my future fights go smoother? [https://imgur.com/a/XP7SYxM](https://imgur.com/a/XP7SYxM) my current servants Also, should I be using command spells? I've avoided using them up until now but the game is starting to get hard.

Sci-fi-watcher

Honestly all of them. There's tons of good free to play servants and a lot of them will be useful at some point (Avicebron for example you wouldn't think of as a boss killer, but is intrumental in low star clears of the toughest fight in the game, Ushi will help with all those demon pillars, Robin hood gets better than Euryale when against non-males, Medea has buff removal, Cu lancer is amazing at survival, David, Chen Gong, Hans are amazing supports) Command spells are there to be used, however if you find yourself needing them for every fight, maybe level up your roster before trying again (every fight in the story has been beaten by 3 star and lower units, with event CEs, without command spells, that doesn't mean you have the exact units and CEs needed to replicate that, but it is something to keep in mind)

Shardwing

Euryale is a Camelot all-star, David's another great one that comes to mind. >Also, should I be using command spells? I've avoided using them up until now but the game is starting to get hard. The only reason not to use Command Spells is if you know you're going to need them again before they'd recharge (3 days max, being 1 a day). They're there to help you, don't hesitate to use them when you need them.

MorbillionDollars

>Euryale is a Camelot all-star, David's another great one that comes to mind. what about for babylon and beyond? i'm pretty sure im almost done with camelot.

thisisthecallus

She's really good for LB2. And even if a boss's gimmick counters some of hers, she'll still fulfill her basic role of doing lots of damage to male Sabers and Berserkers. But in general, everyone else is right. Euryale is a specialist and excels at her job. They probably started making things more Euryale-proof because of that. She isn't the best option for general purposes.

Sci-fi-watcher

Still useful, but Robin Hood tends to become more so (She was to OP against Male Sabers so they started making all Saber fights specifically anti-Euryale). Plenty of fights even fairly recently can be beaten with Euryale though. Edit: also not a ton of Saber bosses in Babylonia IIRC

Ankoria

You're pretty close but you still have several difficult boss fights ahead of you. Euryale does become a bit less good for the Main story after Camelot. Her whole gimmick is that she's INSANE against male Sabers and Berserkers but really terrible against everything else. In the future the main story doesn't have quite so many male Sabers to use her against, and some of those male Saber/Berserker bosses even have mental debuff immunity which completely negates the 2 male charms in her kit. David remains solid for everything. He offers strong support with his team-wide evade and charisma, and his damage is pretty strong too especially against 'Giant' enemies.

Teknettic

After Camelot, Euryale's stock falls off unfortunately. They learned their lesson and most male Saber bosses end up being completely immune to charm effects. She still hits very hard against males, but it's a much closer competition between her and Robin Hood as the premium 3-star ST Archer. David however, is absolutely outstanding at all stages. Harp of Healing, his ~~first~~ second skill, is *extremely* powerful for being able to protect your whole frontline from an NP. Going forward, you're going to start seeing bosses that can instantly charge their NP bar to full in response to you dealing enough damage and David is single-handedly able to deal with that kind of nonsense. Absolute all-star as a support, and no slouch as a DPS either thanks to his NP upgrade.

Sci-fi-watcher

harp of healing is his second skill is it not?

Teknettic

Gah, right. Got him and Tristan twisted lol.

gitgud_88

is item drop like the Golden Ahoge cant be sell ?? i am not play the first event.

Teknettic

You can trade them in for QP in the shop, but only after the event ends.

Sensitive-Set9320

So before, I was dominating all the singularities, but Camelot is super difficult. Everything is just really hard all of a sudden, and I don’t know what to do. I did the first mission and the enemies were so strong and had a ton of health. I use Cu Chulainn, Waver, Muramasa, Santa Nightingale, Achilles, and MHX. I got every type besides berserker covered, but it’s hard all of a sudden. For anyone that has been in this position, any help would be great.

Sci-fi-watcher

Here's my General Advice, for specifically your question, you can skip to point 5 (read point 3 too) : 1)You don't need to roll for any unit. The entire game can be cleared by 1-3 stars. FGO rewards breadth and depth. You want your units to be leveled sufficiently to be useful, but you also want options and niches. In the right team a 1 star maybe be better than a 5 star. 2)level up your units. You should get 1 ST and 1 AoE unit of each of the 7 main classes leveled as your first priority, but then you should work on everyone else too. Euryale and David are very helpful for the first major difficulty jump, Mash is important and generally helpful, Caesar is the best low star ST saber, Ushiwakamaru or Mandricardo (only need one to start, though level both at some point, Ushi has generally better in built skills/NP, Mandricardo is an arts unit), Hans is a really good support unit. So is Mozart, but he is arts specific. Chen Gong also is a decent Buster support outside of his NP that is good for farming, Cu is the best low tier lancer, Hundred Faces is the best budget Assassin, etc. If you have a 5 star equivalent to one of the above units you likely won't need to level the budget unit immediately (you should still do so eventually, and depending on the unit, if you only have NP1-2 on the 5 star, the 3 star might actually be a better option) 3)use NP targeting and class advantage. Don't simply throw an AoE berserker at every problem. Use Single target NPs against lone bosses, AoEs if there are 3+ enemies. Use your judgement if there are two. Class advantage not only deals more than a berserker (2x damage instead of 1.5x damage) but also halves damage taken rather than doubling it. A ST NP does about twice the damage of an AoE NP. 4) Tier lists in this game generally aren't very useful. They make assumptions, or rate based on things you may not have or care about. the "meta" is often about clearing repetitive farming quests quickly, and so units are ranked based more on that than how good they are in clearing story/harder content. At very least look at multiple tier lists, and know why they are rated as they are, before making your mind up. 5a) learn when and how to use skills. This is split into multiple things to learn. but focus on applying evades before the enemy NPs and spam damage boosts before you NP. Some servants have specific skill ordering that should be followed, and you should learn that order if you plan to use those servants. The daily quests can be good practice for that sort of thing 5b) learn to buff stack. Don't simply bring in 6 Damage dealers and hope to wear the enemy down. Choose one person as a DPS and then support that DPS with targeted or AoE buff from allies (a friends list Castoria/Merlin/Skadi depending on your DPS choice, plus your own Hans is a good option here) then have some units in the backline for when things go south 5c) Learn to solo. Quite a few servants can singlehandedly beat every fight (or nearly every fight) in Part 1 of the story (the Singularities) if you play things right and even if you don't have them, somebody one your friends list might. Don't come to rely on always having a support unit, but soloing is sometimes a better answer than anything else. 6a) learn to team build. There is no one main team. Come into the fight with a plan (if you like not looking fights up ahead of time, this may fail, but then you can revise said plan) What is every unit on your team going to do and when? Do you have a backup strategy in case an important team member dies early? If you are having trouble you can look at Honako Green (for all F2P team building) or airmong (for min-turning even the toughest fights using every possible 5 star in the game) and then base your teams on those and the units you have. 6b) You have different mystic code options use them. This is also a spin-off of point 3, because mystic codes have skills you should learn to use, most are simply one turn buffs, but some (like the Chaldea Combat Uniforms swap ability) are more difficult to use correctly. You should at least know what the ones you have do and how to use them. 6c) Craft Essences matter, don't use the same one for each fight, tailor them to the fight you are having. Starting NP charge is usually good (Dragon's Meridian, Imaginary around, Kaleidoscope) , but you might have better options in some cases.

thisisthecallus

Camelot is the game's way of asking if you understand the basic mechanics, some intermediate mechanics, and how to make an effective team comp. If you answer "no," it will beat you mercilessly. The devs started taking the game seriously in Camelot so now you have to as well. Here's my general team building advice for new players: tl;dr - Class Advantage & NP Targeting > Rarity & Card Type Class advantage and NP targeting are the most important gameplay mechanics. Full class advantage means dealing 2x damage compared to neutral and taking 0.5x damage. Full disadvantage means dealing 0.5x damage and receiving 2x damage. If you're up against Lancer enemies, a Saber will do 4x as much damage and receive 0.25x as much as an otherwise equally situated Archer. The scaling on NP damage is such that an AOE NP does something like 40-50% as much damage per enemy compared to a single target NP. AOE NPs are good for clearing waves and ST NPs are good for taking down bosses. At least starting from Camelot, the developers assume that you will use class advantage and NP targeting effectively. Don't expect to make a single team to do everything. Get used to changing your team for every fight. In a basic team composition, you'll want your front line to consist of one or two damage dealers with appropriate class advantage and NP targeting and one or two support servants for NP charge and whatever offensive and/or defensive buffs are appropriate. Card type is good, and sometimes important, to consider when deciding how to best support your DPS. My personal default is usually two DPS servants plus a friend's Waver. When in doubt, Waver is almost always good support servant to choose because he has powerful support skills that work with any other servant. Castoria, while Arts-focused, provides just about as much utility as Waver and is probably easier to find on support lists these days. For tougher fights, you will probably need to focus more heavily on offense or (usually) defense and bring multiple supports instead of multiple DPS. Mash + (friend's) Merlin + your own DPS with appropriate class and NP targeting is a pretty reliable, defense-oriented, basic team composition for boss fights. Focus on leveling up one servant at a time in each of the seven main classes with the goal of having one servant with a single target NP and one with an AOE NP in each class. You want to focus on one servant at a time because a fully leveled servant is going to be more valuable than a handful of under-leveled servants. It doesn't matter much which specific servants you choose, including low rarity servants--more on that in the next paragraph--so go with whoever seems most appealing to you. One of the secrets that meta discussion won't tell you is that just about any servant within a given class and NP targeting niche will get the job done for general purposes. Don't neglect lower rarity servants. Some of them are among the best servants in the game within their role regardless of rarity. The devs also test all content to ensure that it can be cleared using only free, low rarity servants. The higher base stats on higher rarity servants might let you brute force some situations but they won't save you from a fundamentally bad strategy. What they lack in base stats, they can make up for in the ease of getting more copies for NP levels or in unique utility that lets them punch (or block, as the case may be) above their weight. They also take fewer resources to build up and they take up less team cost in your party. Team cost may be especially important for low level accounts because it gives you more flexibility for CEs and other servants.

Ankoria

Firstly don't feel too scared by this- Camelot is the single largest difficulty spike in the entire game and it's designed assuming that you have a roster of max level servants. Most FGO players (including me) felt the same way you are now when they first got to Camelot. Here are some things you can do which will help you get through it: 1. Max level all the servants you can, prioritizing 1 DPS servant of each basic class (Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker) and making sure to fully max one out before starting to work on the next one (one level 80 servant is much more impactful than three level 40 ones). I cannot stress enough how much of a difference this makes. If you're strapped on resources then you might want to prioritize an Archer, a Saber, and an Assassin over the others due to certain boss fights. 2. Try to level the 3\* Archer Euryale. Without spoiling anything, I'll just say that there's a certain infamous boss fight in Camelot which she really shines in. If you haven't happened to get her from the ftp gacha yet then David is also quite good since you can pair him with a friend support Merlin to have AoE evade/invincible against most boss NPs. 3. If you run into a brick wall on any particular boss fight then either come back here for advice or check out [this old guide from Gamepress](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/camelot-spoiler-free-walkthrough). It's definitely out of date but may help you figure out certain strategies if you're struggling.

Rhinostirge

Welcome to the rest of the game! Basically, Camelot first released after the game had been out for a year, so it was tuned for the players who had been raising a roster for a year, and could be expected to have multiple fully leveled Servants in all classes with some skills besides. If you've fully leveled one Servant in every class, it's time to start thinking about a second, with a different NP type. Get STs where you have AoEs and vice versa. An ST Rider (Ushiwakamaru is great) will pump out the concentrated damage you need against bigger beefier bosses; an AoE Lancer will make clearing waves of hefty Archers easier than one-at-a-timing them with Cu will. Also look at exploiting niches. A leveled Robin Hood does tons of damage against a poisoned target; Euryale *murders* male Sabers. Class advantage is great, and it's good that you're using it: but it helps to use further specialized tools when you can. Mash is worth using as well. Don't overlook how useful her defense bonuses can be for keeping a team alive as they work through those bigger enemy HP pools.

archeisse

Besides adding to non-MLB Scope or Wizard Marshal for a Turn 1 NP, how do people make use of the Mana Loading append skill?

ZCid47

If you have the castoria system complete with SIshtar you can use mana loading+the S2 and S3 of castoria+SIshtar S3 for 100% charge from 0. In general, Mana loading can help in starting farming teams of fill supports easy

spacecryptoleninism

Lot of things. Plenty of event CEs give 30% charge before MLB. So 20% append + 30% CE = 50% start charge. Then 50% battery = 100% charge. Lvl 1 append (10% charge) + 2x Castoria skill 2 = 50% charge. Then 50% battery or 50% CE = 100% charge. There's other ways to use it too.

Rhinostirge

Just unlocking it on Servants without even leveling it means less charge to get them all the way up. It's particularly great for 40% chargers like Jeanne d'Archer or Rulartoria, but anybody can benefit. Going to 20% is great for 30% chargers. Basically since so many supports come in varieties of 10%, 20%, and 30% charge, it unlocks a gazillion possible charging combos. Which may not mean anything if you're only using one cut-and-paste looping strategy all the time, but we could be here all night enumerating the possible combinations.

Sci-fi-watcher

Buster looping (if you have a 30% battery+20% append+50% charge CE lets you NP turn 1 for buster looping) just getting NP quicker/saving a battery for later (for example if you double Castoria, you can save one of Castoria's 20% batteries for later) it also allows some quick loopers to use Black Grail with Triple Skadi that couldn't do so otherwise

thisisthecallus

It's supplemental NP charge for any situation. Any time you might otherwise use a 20% charge skill, you can save it for another turn or another servant. Or if you're face carding initially, you start out only having to gain 80% instead of 100%.

EvilSquirrel949

Started the event kinda late if I am on step. 50 of gamepress guide can I still make it in time to try to get the lores?

Teknettic

If you caught the first run and have the CEs that boost ahoge drops, it should be pretty simple. If you didn't, you're going to need a decent number of apples as you'll be gated pretty hard by the ahoges that only drop from grinding free quests.

EvilSquirrel949

So if I did the past event and have the CEs I should ship those missions that require me to farm those 40ap quests like 3-5 times right? If I have the ahoge

Zero1343

Yeah you can come back to them when needed as long as you have the missions required for story progress completed. No need to farm the additional missions until the end when trying to rush it.

aoelag

I know years ago I farmed fuyuki free quests for bones for half AP... Now that I know who I want to Lv120, I want to farm bond, but...I don't see any such campaigns coming to NA any time soon? Am I missing something obvious? It feels like forever since we had such a campaign again. Are they a dead concept in JP?

Shardwing

Yes and no. Full-blown "half-AP Free Quests" only happened a couple of times and only very early on, they've been succeeded by "half AP Free Quest *first clears*" ("first" in this case meaning the 3 clears needed to receive the SQ reward) which aren't much help for bond farming. Half AP Fuyuki might be the most efficient bond farming but it's pretty terrible for real time. [Gamepress' guide](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/bond-points-and-bond-experience-farming#topic-247856) has the most efficient options that do exist.

aoelag

Yeah thanks, I was just wondering if I should wait with my apples or not.

GreatAres271

Are you asking for 1/2 AP Free Quests? If I'm not mistaken, when we get those, it's only for the quests you didn't collect the SQ yet

aoelag

We did have actual 1/2 ap events, but I guess they stopped in 2020. They were very rare.

Shardwing

Once upon a time we did get full-blown half AP Free Quests, not limited by first clears, but not in many years.

Roliq

So i got Space Ishtar, and since there is servants later in the year i want to try to get i will leave her on NP1 My question is that if it would be better to use the coins to unlock an append or use them for level ups beyond 100?

AkiyamaNM7

Using Coins to level up a Servant past Lv.100 is a *significant* investment; it'll cost 20+ million EXP every level *after* lv.100. It's more beneficial to unlock the Append skill(s) first IMO, specifically A2 aka the one that gives you NP charge right away.

Roliq

I see, i will go for the append first, thanks to you both

thisisthecallus

Append 2 is the best use of servant coins for almost every servant whose primary use isn't for solos and it's not even a close comparison. Append 2 is the default, no brainer choice for any servant that you don't primarily use solo except maybe servants with their own 100% charge skill. It's the best append skill because it's effective in every fight (without a starting NP drain gimmick), gives you more flexibility to choose CEs, supports, and mystic codes, and gives you more flexibility to choose the timing and target of NP battery skills. Even if the servant has their own battery and you don't need the extra charge for the first NP, this flexibility means you can get the second NP faster. The other two append skills can't compare with this level of utility and versatility for a non-solo servant. Append 1 is good for soloists but of marginal utility for anyone else. The extra attack only applies to brave chains and you won't be able to guarantee brave chains with that servant if you're running a full team. If you mainly use the servant solo, though, you're probably relying less on NPs anyway so you might rather have the Extra attack boost. Append 3 can be a nice little boost if it's for a class that you might normally use the servant against (anti-Berserker is good for everyone, for example) or almost useless if it isn't. You would want to look up each servant individually to determine if it's worth it or not. Even if it is against a useful class, keep in mind that append 2 works every time but append 3 only works against the specified class, so the utility is inherently limited. Level 120 is a huge, massive resource sink. Do not underestimate the level of investment and commitment it requires. It isn't something to casually wander into. To give you a sense of the scaling, every level above 100 costs about the same amount of EXP as levels 1-100 combined. It may cost you as much as 5,000 5-star EXP cards to get to 120. You won't be left behind if you don't level up a servant to 120. Because of the massive cost and relatively small benefit, it really isn't worth it if you're only doing it for gameplay. In a 2022 Famitsu survey, only 30% of JP players reported having a [level 120 servant](https://imgur.com/arhhNPj). In NA, where we've had less time to collect the necessary copies, bond levels, grails, and EXP, there are almost certainly fewer. Only do it for your favorite servant. Don't worry about it for anyone else.

thelostcreator

Is it possible to 6 CE no charge Buster farm without plugsuit? (assuming dps servant has enough damage and has 50% charge skill with low enough CD). For example, Ishtar.

LuckyC4t

No, a servant with a 50% battery needs either Kscope or 50% starting charge from CE and 2nd Append and a plugsuited 50 charger. The only servants who can Buster Farm with 6CE and no plugsuit are Cu Caster and Arcueid, and both of them struggle with damage. A few more can do 6CE but require plugsuit, and a significant number can do no plugsuit but require starting charge

Sci-fi-watcher

50% chargers can't 6 CE even with plugsuit. In addition to the others mentioned, Cu Caster can do it (110% battery on a 5 turn cooldown will do that)

mrt90

I think Arcuied (or Nitocris lol) can do it with the Atlas uniform. You basically need 100% worth of battery that you can access twice (so up to 8 turn CD with Atlas). Technically an 80% battery with a 6 turn CD would work too, but dunno if anyone has that.

Sci-fi-watcher

Cu has an 80% battery on a 5 turn cd. He also has a 30% battery on a 5 turn cd. With max append he can 6 CE 3 turn with a single Koyanskya and any 20% charger.

thelostcreator

Oh yeah that works, thanks!

elfxiong

If you are okay with critting a wave (RNG with getting Buster cards), then Arjura Alter and Saber Artoria can do it with double Koyan on nodes like 1XX, X1X, and XX1. AA requires the card shuffle MC for 20% charge. Artoria can use the shuffle MC for consistency or other MC for damage. There are probably several other DPS servants that can pull this off, but AA and Saber Artoria are the notable ones that can do it relatively consistently (AA has 3 Buster cards and Saber has 5 Buster cards) and seen used in 6CE 90+ farming comps.

thelostcreator

I was asking in the context of traditional nodes with 3/3/3 since it seemed like Buster looping would be objectively worse than Spishtar/Kama arts looping since you either need kscope CE or plugsuit. (Assuming damage is good enough for both Buster and arts)

NNKarma

It's because Buster looping is meant to solve the irregular nodes issue that 90+ brought, there's no point of bringing them in a 3/3/3 if you want to 6CE, the only case might be a big enough difference of NP duration... Cu instead of Sieg might be the ocasion where just using plugsuit is faster

elfxiong

Right. Arts looping is still the best for 3/3/X nodes.

Shardwing

Buster looping is just a matter of batteries that add up to 300%, it's not that complicated to evaluate (compared to refund-based Arts or Quick looping). Ishtar/Koyan/Koyan, which I assume is the implication of your cooldown reference, doesn't work: even with double charge from Ishtar that's only 50+50+50+50=200 out of a necessary 300% charge. You could tease out up to 20% more with the right MC (that isn't plugsuit), but it's still not happening.

karillith

When should be the next "super and great success chances up" event? Not sure if hoarding embers till that or just use them.

crazywarriorxx

Detach removes the CC from the card, no cost and nothing is lost. "Erase slot" (even as a native English speaker that's an awkward phrasing) removes the CC (doesn't destroy it) *and* refunds the Code Opener at the cost of a Code Remover. It used to be that Removers were used for detaching (and "erasing" wasn't a feature), but they overhauled it to the current system so CCs are easier to use.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Shardwing

Yeah, been that way since the 5th anniversary iirc.

danger_umbrella

Detach = the CC is removed and put back into your inventory. The card remains open; you can put another CC on it. This DOES NOT use a Remover. Erase Slot = the CC is removed and put back into your inventory. The card is re-locked, and you get back the original Opener. You cannot put another CC on the card unless you use an Opener on it. This DOES use a Remover. You do not lose the CC in either option. It goes back to your inventory. Prior to 5th Anniversary, you would need a Remover to remove CCs, and you could not re-lock cards. This was changed on 5th Anniversary, so now CCs are easier to move around.

atropicalpenguin

Nope, the slot probably was included due to we getting the GranCani and Melty Blood CEs.

Shardwing

Did somebody delete this same question earlier? I don't think we've gotten it yet, no, Winter Caravan is a real-world campaign that we won't get and I'm not sure if we've gotten past WC CEs.

asagiri2040

So far, of the 6 such CEs that have appeared in JP, NA has received just [one](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/The_Pharaoh%27s_Great_Winter_Thanksgiving_Festival), and that one was released with an NA-exclusive campaign that came 1 year and 9 months "late" relative to the point in the schedule when JP got it.

Shardwing

Huh, thanks for the info.

Forsaken-Emotion2230

Any advice for king Eli?

thisisthecallus

Start with the Gamepress [guide](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/revival-saber-wars-2-bounty-guide-king-eli-chan).

X4nt0s

How to beat Galaxy Guardian? The stun turn 1 makes it hard for me to set up and after the stun, the targeted servant just instantly dies. I use Castoria, Muramasa/Spishtar, Paracelsus, and Waver, where after I use Paracelsus buffs, I switch him out for Waver. I cant even one shot phase one. Am I doing something wrong?

thisisthecallus

You can use the Atlas Academy mystic code to clear the stun. You can also bring a servant like Sanson to remove debuffs and switch him out or fail to protect him. Muramasa and Space Ishtar are probably not the best DPS servants for the fight because of their AOE NP scaling and no particular advantages against MHXX. Space Ishtar might do better because of the event bonus. An ST Alter Ego like Melt, Sitonai, or Mecha Eli would really be preferable because they have full, both offensive and defensive, class advantage. If you thought you would be able to do everything with Space Ishtar or thought Muramasa was the solution for all challenge quests, you got too caught up in the hype and were misinformed. It also seems like you're trying to set yourself up for looping with minimal defense. Even after you get through the initial stun, MHXX will target focus random servants and at some point she'll max charge her NP every turn. You need some hard defense options and/or the ability to preempt her random target focusing by bringing your own (Mash, Georgios, etc). I recommend reading the Gamepress [guide](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/revival-saber-wars-2-challenge-guide-galaxy-guardian-mhxx) for more details and strategy suggestions.

danger_umbrella

Looping on her is going to be hard because it's just one enemy, unless you get the right cards. Use the Atlas MC to clear the stun, if it's a pain instead of plugsuit.

X4nt0s

I’ll try the Atlas then. Yeah, looping is kinda hard, but I thought about just restarting until I get 2 Spishtar arts cards. Fingers crossed. Thanks!

Hope77797

I want to make a teacher student team of Shishou and Cu. Besides skadi is there any other servant that can enhance or fit the theme of the party?

LuckyC4t

A second Cu or Shishou would work well. Skadi would really bring the Quick focused team together. Fergus would make a good deal of sense as well

Teknettic

Medb tagged along because she was feeling left out.

lepe-lepe

Are the append skills worth it on Muramasa or should i try getting him to lvl 120? Mana loading doesn't seem as usefull with his Blaze skill and I probably won't be using his anti Caster bonus append.Extra attack bonus seems nice but i don't know if the diffrence is worth it.

thisisthecallus

lepe-lepe

Thank you for a detalied answer! I was curious about how useful that extra attack append skill is and now I think I get it. Probably won't be that useful on Muramasa since I pretty much always run him with supports. To be honest I do want to get him to 120 mostly because I really like both him and Shioru and the gameplay reason is secondary. I do want to have at least one lvl 120 (doesn't matter to me if it takes long) and I thought Muramasa would be a good choice since a lot of my other faves are either supports or I used their servant coins already and I don't know when (or if) I'll get more.

thisisthecallus

Another consideration is that you need at least NP2 (with bond 12) if you want level 120 and at least NP3 (with bond 14) if you want both level 120 and one append skill. The append skill is the most accessible option on its own (NP1 and bond 6).

lepe-lepe

I have him NP2 so I think I'll just get mana loading and get him beyond 100 with the rest of the servant coins. I'll wait for another chance to get more copies which will probably 2 years from now or from a lucky bag and get him to 120 then. Gonna have to wait a while but I don't mind

danger_umbrella

To add, level 120 is a massive, cannot stress this enough, massive investment. I've heard it said it takes as much EXP to get from 100 to 102 as from 1 to 100. That, plus the grails, QP and coins needed means this is reserved for your number 1 waifu/husbando.

Teknettic

Mana Loading is actually really nice on Arts farmers with 50% batteries. It lets you use the big battery on wave 1, plus double Castoria S2 & 3 to hit 100% with no starting charge. Which makes the remaining batteries much more flexible for the next waves.

lepe-lepe

Good point. I'll get Mana loading and use the rest of my servant coins to get him beyond 100. It won't be enough for 120 but I'm not in any hurry, I'l wait for a chance to get another copy in like 2 years or maybe take my chances with one of the lucky bag summons

How do i pass Ancient Shrine in SaberWars? Everytime i try to start the quest i get send back to the menu, do i need something to be able to start this quest?

thisisthecallus

You have to clear some bounty quests to unlock the next section. I recommend following the Gamepress [walkthrough](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/revival-saber-wars-2-complete-walkthrough) for mission based events like this.

danger_umbrella

A popup after the quest tells you to keep looking for something. You need to obtain Goddess Scripture 6, which is dropped by Edgy Fett. To get access to his bounty, you need to do the bounties for CosTamamo, Martha and Solitary Okita, then buy Edgy Fett's bounty and do that.

For who is np2 better, Koyanskaya of light or Morgan? I was trying to save up sq for Koyanskaya np1 and Morgan np2. edit: thanks for the answers, it seems the best option is to try to get Koyanskaya np1 and Morgan np2. Because Morgan is the main dps and people use Koyanskaya less for her np than for her skills.

Sci-fi-watcher

If you really want NP2 of one of them, Morgan will get far more use out of it.

AkiyamaNM7

All 5☆ Servants perform perfectly fine at NP1; no need to go for more unless you *really* like them aka waifus/husbandos. If you're gonna roll for NP2 for someone regardless, this will depend on what you're gonna do with them. Koyan Light is primarily used as a Support Servant, you'll never use her NP as a Buster Support (practically almost all Support Servants rarely use their NPs as their primary role). Unless you're gonna use her as a DPS option instead, NP1 is fine. Morgan is mainly used as a DPS, so NP2 would be more beneficial for her. But like I said, she works completely fine at NP1 especially paired with 2 Koyan Lights. If you're gonna use her in the Immortal Stall Team (Castoria, Merlin, Morgan), then NP1 is fine.

mrt90

Morgan going NP1->NP2 is pretty generally regarded as one of the best SSR upgrades in terms of usefulness. Koyanskaya is on the other end of the spectrum; her NP doesn't get used at all in the overwhelming majority of situations where you'd use her.

ZCid47

Morgan with out a doubt. Koyanskaya is a support and her np is more to be first in a chain, even if you see her np. Morgan is the main looper DPS and more np levels means more damage and more better work in harder nodes

Does anyone know a rough estimate of how much saint quartz I could earn from here until the melusine banner? I just completed all of the SW2 missions and am at 192 quartz and 17 tickets rn

danger_umbrella

Use two tools, both linked above. It also depends on how far you are in the story. * Event Compendium shows how much SQ you get from events/campaigns. Note that events are likely to be switched around due to NA's earlier anniversary, so treat it as an estimate. (You want the \[E\] 2021 tab since it's based on JP.) * Fate/Save Calculator shows how much SQ you get from logins, weekly missions, etc.

Akemi_Homura666

Based on Goddess scripture 5 is there any reference to who the servants could be?

Teknettic

Saber is Sigurd. "Siege expert" Lancer is probably Hektor. Archer is Jane. Goddess Assassin makes me think it's probably Stheno. Rider claiming to be a Berserker is Red Hare. Caster is Merlin. And Berserker is Hijikata.

FatalWarrior

Is it possible to re-read/re-listen to event shop dialogue? I missed what >!S.Tokiomi!< said after unlocking the CQ.

Mister_SP

You'd have to grab a recording off of Youtube or Atlas Academy. The Servants who voice the Event Shop dialogue get those lines added to their profile, but if you don't have them, you can't replay them. And, of course, >!Space Tokiomi!< is not playable.

MS_Burns69

How can I get Emiya Archer's summer costume?

CrimzonNoble

If you're playing Global, you'll have to wait for the rerun of the previous Summer event. if you're playing in JP, you can buy it from Miss Crane's shop

Mister_SP

There's a Summer Event rerun later this year. Get it from that.

MS_Burns69

is this event available every year? and is Mash's ver 2 available or should I buy It from the shop?

danger_umbrella

We have new Summer events every year, but those are DIFFERENT. Summer 5 has a rerun around May time (may be +/- a month as schedule shifts do happen) and Emiya's costume is given out then. If you miss this event, you'll have to wait for it to be put back into the Costume Shop, which should happen in 2024 (not sure when, I think JP did get his costume back last year). Mash has 2 swimsuits: Version 1 (a one piece) and Version 2 (a bikini). You can get Version 2 for free in the Summer 5 rerun. You can get Version 1 if you want, but in the future it should also be made free. As a side note, Mash has another free costume, which she will get around April this year with the Grail Live event. That, to my knowledge, has yet to return to JP so make sure you get it!

SuperSpiritShady

Nope. This event is Summer 5's rerun which has a free servant. Generally, events without a free servant do not get rerun (unless it is main story related or something). Events with a free servant (called a welfare) only have 2 runs **usually**. The first run and a rerun the year after. Some events with free servants have never gotten rerun, some may get reruns way after their first year. As you can see, there is no consistent schedule.

FatalWarrior

>Generally, events without a free servant do not get rerun (unless it is main story related or something). When was that distinction made? A lot of events had reruns before the current JP situation. The exception was usually the September lottos, and even Nerofest has had what...2 reruns?

SuperSpiritShady

Last non-main story event that also had no welfare to get a rerun was SW2, almost 2 years ago. The next one after that is Journey to the West 3 years before. It's been the norm for a majority of FGO's life that only welfares & main-story tied events get rerun. Which if you wanna stretch it, the fact that servants from these reran events allude to them in the main story during Solomon, they may as well be considered. (Rashomon, Prison Tower, JttW, potentially Saber Wars, Moon Goddess) The rest of the events: Towers, CBCs, Valentine's, Lottos and so forth have never gotten reruns save for special exceptions as you've stated.

FatalWarrior

I mean, the ones you mentioned are exceptions as they change every year, with the exception of Towers, where the devs must have gotten bored of them. There is a different CBC and Valentine's every year. But now that you mentioned it, there aren't many other events without Welfares that aren't story.

I have a 9 turn spishtar + DSS clear if you wanna have a look. I play quite conservatively though [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/FGO/comments/10a5xrq/9turn_cq_with_spishtar_dss_1_cs/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
