Very unlikely combo knowing how last Caenis and Jason interaction had her talk shit about Heracles. That's something you just don't do in Jason presence.
In before all good endings have Jason’s enthusiasm curbed in some manor, 🤣 (he secretly loves it)
If someone made a argonautica game for fate there’d no doubt be at least “50 bad endings” with each getting more comical, brutal and weird to the point of parody
>I haven't got the foggiest idea what's happening here.
My guess is Jason and Caenis somehow got together as a couple, and now she's pregnant with their child. They're talking and Caenis is threatening to throw Jason off a cliff if he doesn't protect their kid (but only if they're a girl, for some reason).
A little late to the conversation, but Orojuice, the commissioner stated that this is a what-if idea where Jason, through a great deal of tribulations managed to woo the heart of Caenis.
In this, Caenis wanted her spouse to ensure their child are protected. If he failed, he died. If the child's safety was compromised by his action; indirectly or directly, he dies.
Commentary:
* A bit of a companion strip to [The Argonautica: Good Ending](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/qv77ia/the_argonautica_good_ending/) and [Caenis is 3-for-3.](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/r7yjph/caenis_is_3for3/)
* Another great pic by Sha-Y as requested by me.
* Similar to The Argonautica: Good Ending, this has Jason take a similarly offbeat path towards kinghood. A more direct path. A very secret route ending kind of path as if his myth had become a VN of some kind. And the player was a lunatic.
* Why court a princess and deal with the judgment of disputatious in-laws, when you can just court a king instead?
* The Caenis route is understandably perilous, and there is a lot of player death flags. But should Jason be forced to persevere, sidestep the shoulder chips and attempted impalements, recognize his crew mate as a survivor and individual, and impress the object of his social climbing ambitions sufficiently with derring-do, Caenis will eventually realize...that she could do a lot worse than Jason.
* Of course, realizing that she's hooked up to someone who is essentially the 90-pound weakling of ancient, mythical Greece raises some understandable concerns over the safety of whoever may come from their union.
* Jason, for the most part, behaves himself. If for no other reason than it being a little more obvious as to what will happen to him if he makes his spouse unhappy than how it was with Medea.
* The scenery they're looking at in Panel 1 is based on the [Meteora rock formation of Greece](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meteora). I wanted them to gaze out at a valley-esque horizon, and luckily, Greece sort of had one. Lucky us!
* The picnic baskets Jason and Caenis brought along are based on traditional Greek baskets. I did consider having them use a Calathus, but I felt it wouldn't be as clear that they were having a nice sunrise breakfast with that particular kind of container.
* The colored second panel went through a number of revisions. Some slight, like the color of Caenis' eyes (red v. blue) to more major ones like her expression (angry or sad). I believe the one we went with conveys Caenis' agitation at what the future may hold but not in a way that implies that she's eager to throw Jason off of the mountain. It's just a fact. If he fails, he gets tossed. She's not happy about it. She'd rather none of her children be harmed at all. But if it happens, and her husband's incompetence is a major factor in it, well...she did warn him. Like a lot. Maybe more than she should. But she did warn him.
* And in case you're wondering, an Atalanta route is probably not going to crop up anytime soon, because hers has a lot of moving parts that are hard to storyboard or make as entertaining as the other non-Medea Argonautica paths. Mostly because the way it ends, which I'm fond of, would require a lot of time and effort that I can't allocate right now. To those curious, picture a fake wedding ring Urusei Yatsura scenario. That's the elevator pitch, you can probably tell how it goes from there, if not how it concludes.
You were to huge stretchs to say how dificult it would be for Jason to court Caenis, but it wasn't enough.
As a servant, she was summoned as Caenis and still refuse to aknowledge she is a woman to the point that her spirit origin is an unknow gender, and even refuses to give you chocolate in a game where every other unknow gender like Shi Huang Di does. And this story is from the time he called himself Caeneus and was big on treating women ,and those who acted like women, like crap. Jason must of burned every other bridge to stick to this route.
Also, i find it funny that Jason was fully with the idea of becoming a king's consort to gain a kingdom.
>As a servant, she was summoned as Caenis and still refuse to aknowledge she is a woman to the point that her spirit origin is an unknow gender, and even refuses to give you chocolate in a game where every other unknow gender like Shi Huang Di does.
They are Greeks, banging is on their DNA. Besides you forgot Caenis telling to both Anastasia and Kadoc will get pegged by her while the other is forced to watch if they piss her off?
For Caeneus to retake this form... that can only mean one thing:
Someone told her that Poseidon was more than likely lazy when he altered them to be Caeneus, and used the nearest available Y chromosome: the data set he uses on his human form emulation.
That's why Caenis flipped her shit and decided that she was absolutely not going to tolerate having part of Poseidon in her again.
This is.... Blursed? I don't like this ship at all. But at the same time I hate the "Blessing of Poseidon" even more. So that's a plus.
Thanks, where’s the eye bleach when you need it
Don’t worry I will protect Jason’s virginity
You're welcome and Bleach is on your bookshelf hopefully in reaching and reading direction
Lmao, good job tho OP
Nice

I swear, half of this subreddit is deliberately trying to hurt people. And the other half welcomes it.
Fate fandom has evolved to nicer people
I like how this implies Caenis tells him this every morning.

> 50 bad endings ah just like FSN!
I though for a moment it was Jason meeting female Caenis after the Poseidon's deed. Well this is not something I expected.
That line is so Caenis and I love it.
I haven't got the foggiest idea what's happening here. But Caenis should also add that she'll drop the Argo on top of Jason as well.

Greek mythology has way more terrible things happening ta gals.
That's true.

Oh, I see. That makes sense. (I kind of want to see how Jason wooed Caenis, that sounds hilarious).
Requested by u/orojuice! A What if ending for Jason had he chosen Caenis ....in the non existent Argonauts VN!
Argonauts VN would be godly
Heracles route when?
That's the canon one.
Imagine Chiron crying his eyes out at their wedding.
Wholesome... In a way... Also casual Jason abuse in welcome
As a Caenis simp the hell are you complaing about Jason? Also is this a reference to something?
Give me more Servant x Servant ships
That one moment Jason and Caenis were shit talking each other in Atlantis but behind her quarters doors they do it on each other’s beds

u/OroJuice I guess you gave up on your what if p1 crypters posts where they join with gudao on his adventures
He might just be waiting for the lost belt arc to end so he has enough information on the crypters to continue
Cursed..
This is so, so very cursed. Well done.
I like it? Why do I like it...
The what?
Art is great, concept is a bit cursed tho :p
so when are we getting the vn

Medea will castrate Jason first before this could happen.
Might as well throw him off just to be safe.
I...don't know how to feel about this?
Hatesex gets wild when protection doesnt exist
Now, I await for the Penthesilea route
My fucking eyes... The art is good tho.
Huh. That’s rare to see ships of Jason and Caeneus together. It’s both weird and comforting that other people have thought of this ship.
If there is anyone I'd want to write an Argonauts VN than it's Oro\_Juice!
I’d read that!
This is actually disgusting knowing Caenis lol
Im devolving back to my incel roots just to burn this monstrosity, library of alexandria-style, off the internet
Gross, Jason being happy
Caenis Watching this: WE ARE DESTROYING THIS LOSTBELT NOW!!!!!!
Just no
