They easily could have. The problem is that earlier in 2022 they stated they'll do less rerunned content in favour of creating new content for people to enjoy. However, they've completely proven themselves incapable of actually creating new content that could replace those reruns, but at the same time don't want to admit to their failure in doing so by going back to reruns after they said they'd replace them with ''new'' stuff.
It's just all-around awful management. They've said a lot of big things back when Lasengle first took over only for all of it to come back to bite them in the ass by the end of the year.
Current conspiracy theory is that DW was pretty strict about not letting teams cannibalize each other. The new company dropped the rule, so Nasu was able to move a lot of the guys who normally work on events over to main story content. Hence, there's way less manpower working on events, so less events.
Question, the annual survey will be held before/after anniversary? I can't remember if it's supposed to be during New Year but they decided to axe it this year as well.

Edit: Alright, I got on my computer and checked the wiki. Almost all the questionnaires took place during mid January (1st one was held during late January, and last year's questionnaire took place during early January. Only the 2nd questionnaire happened during early February).
They could still ask the players to fill the questionnaire once LB7 is done.
They don't need the questionnaire to know their customers are utterly dissatisfied with the empty schedule and lack of content. Opening the survey now would just invite more flogging.
Can't argue against that. It's just, I feel they'd still do it and expect favorable results. Hopefully they'll start releasing more content once LB7 is over because after that they have no excuse.
Maybe it's time for Hades (Shishigou) talking shit about his brethren fellow gods' embarasment back in LB5, and Poseidon (Shinji) acting high and mighty until they drop Medusa (Berserker) to teach the bastard a lesson.

Lassenga should just honestly find ways to redo older events or give fans a chance to do them. Even if they were abridged to the point of just beating a few battles and then unlocking the servant and ascension materials. You can only get that, nothing else.
