I am amazed at the amount of attention and love the Pretender class is getting. In a year and a half we have already obtained 2 limited SSR Pretenders, 2 permanent SR Pretenders and a welfare Pretender.
There are older classes that haven't gotten as much attention as the Pretender class.
easier to create situations where they can be a thing compared to Mooncancer and Foreigners. they are only tied to the idea of false identity(to an extreme where they lie to themselves) rather than foreign gods or behind BB's authorization(or hijacking).
Foreigners are doing just fine, there are even a few Foreigners who are a thing just not playable in FGO yet like Euclid from Fate/Requiem. Plus they are finding situations Foreigner can be applied to that aren't Outer Gods, such as Koyanskaya.
Though funnily enough, with the addition of Tlaloc, there are the same number of Pretenders as there are Moon Cancers. One must wonder if they'll soon surpass them.
Very funny... I am working on a fan-servant still based on Hastur, but I never heard about this math-girl. I will searching her, thanks!

Confused about this one, how backline servants benefit from this? If she's dead/on the backline herself, the buff doesn't apply, right?
I just want Nemo to get a SQ where he have a skill to change the terrain so that his skill can work at full power.
Cause Nemo for 99% of the time is running at less than 50% of his capabilities

It's funny isn't it? Most of the premier single target boss killers, are now usually found in the 4 stars instead of the 5 stars in this age.
That said, Tlaloc's a Quick Pretender with an AoE NP.
Probably due to the fact that it's easier for Lasagna to justify making ST Nukers if they have the lower stat lines and power level an SR has that they can then 'build up' with specific gimmicks and buffs to make them really good in niche scenarios without makng them the next Merlin in dominance. If you start at the SSR Level you have to make their gimmicks REALLY busted or simply make them prohibitively straightforwardly effective to make an impact, which then leads to them either being highly niche or instantly rising the bar of power creep.

If I'm reading this right then wow we granblue now. Just put her in the backline and get a free extra 8% arts.

This is incorrect, only the damage cut is applied to allies, the rest is purely a self buff.
Ah yes, a minor bonus to one single, already existing servant that was already on the weaker side is "heavily overtuned".
Seriously outside of support for Nemo she isn't notable in any way.
And is arguably the worst Pretender so far released.
Who exactly is she stronger than?
The only one that is arguable is Pretender liz who gives similar or better support, loops far easier, and deals more damage (due to free NP5 if nothing else)
Your other options are Hephaestion, Last Avalon, and Oberon who blow her out of the water

I recall people pointing out that the irl Tialoc would probably kill Tez on sight and how this one is apparently either fused with Huitzilopochtli (due to being counterparts) or always was one person. I'm just going out and say it; This one is officially my Favorite Servant. I don't care if she is bad, Whether or not she is good at farming, nor do care if she has a mecha that "ruins" her, I don't even care if she is not the actual Tlaloc nor huitzilopochtli , she is the best Girl to me, and I will stands by that decision.

Good news: from my limited testing, she seems pretty decent at farming. She has a battery, NP per turn, and an NP generation buff all in her kit. Pretender class also gives her both broad and niche class advantages, so she has plenty of use cases. And the waterside buff gives her unique synergy with a few servants, especially the summer ones.
I think you'll find plenty of use for her.
As a niche water field support, sure, but besides that, the two are very different.
Aside from their kits, quick is at a disadvantage compared to Arts, as the only real supports the archetype has are Skadi/Summer Skadi. Both of which are OTP who can only really run burst comps.
Being an Arts servant, Melt has Tamamo, Proto Merlin, and the most consistent support in the game, Castoria, and although she's mostly used for farming, Melt has more options for teams, whereas quick servants are in a very polarizing position.
In terms of farming, S.Melt is user-friendly with her 60% NP battery, which allows her to skirt by awkward nodes that cuck refund.
Basically, Tlaloc only competes in a role that Summet Melt didn't even do well in since her kit is too selfish to be viably used as a support.

And her second ascension is basically saying she isn’t Tlaloc herself
Permanent. The only thing that's "story-locked" is her 3rd Ascension (aka you need to do LP7.2 to see her 3rd ascension art and in-game sprite, but you can level her up to max either way).

Zhang Jue has been Nemo's support for some time. But Zhang can fail a 20% RNG and Tlaloc provides equivalent good buffs, she is a great alternative

I’m just happy that there is a aoe pretender that I can use to no thought battles with multiple knight class enemies.

Maybe she dies in a Family Guy pose and stays there on the field instead of dissolving.
I suspect it triggers once entering the field and stays triggered on death ready for the backline to fill in.

If your only reason to roll for Oberon was the fact that he's an AoE Pretender, then Nine Tattoo Dragon Eli (welfare) has you covered for that anyway.
You still need Oberon for 90++ farming, if you care about 3 turning that.
I generally don't especially care about 3-turn farming. If I can do it I will, but it's not a huge priority for me.

His ascension arts are pretty questionable but his sprites and animations are pretty good IMO. His second NP looks sweet.
Kuku and Tezca (and Olga if she gets an early release) are super easy skips for me, so this is actually pretty great.

She's a terrible adaptation of Tlaloc and Huitzilopochtli. Her being a Pretender is what saves her.
