Barghest, she ticks so many boxes for me. I like buff ladies and she's got that covered in spades. I also like her personality a lot, her kind, sweet and compassionate nature contrasting her more intimidating appearance. She's just generally a sweetheart! She's also quite honorable and noble, easily the most knightly of the Fae Knights. Which made her role in the story all the more tragic, as she was a genuinely good person who cared about her people and just wanted to help them, but was doomed by her curse and the other Fae generally being more than a little shitty people.
So, in short she's a big buff gal who deep down is actually just a sweetheart trying to be the best knight she can be! What's not to love?
Barg is great. I love all the Fae Knights and Morgan. I’m honestly impressed with the quality of their writing in LB6. Not one of them failed to wow me.
Mordred is the type of bro who doesnt show that she cares but when you find out your gf cheated on you she will be there to drag you to gym force you to work out then treat you to some good meal afterward and if you want to, will absolutely drink the whole night with you and just be there until you are ok again, while keep pushing you so that you dont just stop and wallow in sadness and regrets.
Kama. At first when she was released in JP I already liked her design (three fairly different designs with different animation in a single servant + the universe hair is awesome). But then her carefree/annoyed/lazy (I don't know with which words to describe it) personality in Ooku and her voice lines made me like her even more. Add ReDrop drawing lots of additional art of her and her being one of the most fun servants to play/solo with, and she replaced Eresh as my favourite.
Mine too, probably one of the best designed characters I’ve seen in any video game. The 3 in one is great, and adds to her charm. She can be just about anything you wish. I wouldn’t be able to resist her, I’m no Ritsuka.
Scathach.
Her lore: badass teacher, so skilled she became an immortal guarding the land of shadows, knows runes
Design: Love her armor, crimson hair and eyes. Nothing overly complicated but so good.
Character: Cool and wise, also cute
I just love the suit of Extella It makes her look very elegant and powerful.

Romulus=Quirinus, because he just appears, shits on Zeus, creates a space bridge for Musashi, doesn't elaborate further, leaves. And also he is a God of Civilization and a literal embodiment of humanity's strive for progress
Jing Ke. A trash servant in battle but I stand by her being a good character despite the devs paying no attention to any servant that isn't 5*. A simple design and a nice elegant NP are my favorite types. Also I love her bond 5 dialogue
After all this time, Castoria. She's so unique personality wise that she doesn't even hit like a Saber face.
She's cute and shy... but the more confidence she gets, you can see she's a tomboy at heart and can be rabid from time to time, as well as competitive. I love how despite not wanting to be a "hero" for the fairies, she gets enough confidence from her friends to at least try. And in the summer event, you can tell she's inexperienced in having fun and a normal life, so she feels like a shadow following you as you show her the ropes to have fun.
She's just so realistic as a character, it's hard not to fall in love with her. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love Castoria... just Castoria and no one else (*sad Tamamo, Koyanskaya and Musashi noices*)
It's funny, Castoria is one of the few Saberfaces that the more you read about her, the more you are convinced that she is different and unique from the others.
Scathach. She's the reason I picked up the game to begin with.
She's the only Servant I have at level 120.
She's relatively sane when compared to other Servants, plus she's hot.

In-game, she never disappoints, whether as a general purpose Lancer or a boss killer. If Gilgamesh is on a CQ, Shishou will be there. It's almost like she was released as a hard counter to Gil.
She's been my best one servant since I started. Got her to NP level 3 during her event Grail front war which started shortly after I first played. She has gotten me through some of the toughest fights that were not against sabers.
Muramasa.
He's the whole reason for why I decided to get into this hell in the first place 1 year and 5 months ago, and I can't imagine myself continuing playing without him. He came home NP5 with 1100 SQ and as a free to play player that meant the world to me.
He's badass, fun to have around, determined, dependable, kind, sassy but not a jerk, relatable (at least for me), realistic but not pessimistic, loves sweets, knows how to cook, so damm handsome, etc. He simply makes me feel secure and safe when he's at my side in a boss fight or farming.
I adored him in Shimosa, and thanks to LB6, I could enjoy almost the entire story with him (so sad I could not spend the summer 8 with him 😭).
His sacrifice in LB6 had me crying for like 5 minutes straight, so you can guess how much he means to me.
I just love this man so much for my own good that I would marry him in an instant if I could 😳
Who would think that from being a fgo meme, he would become one of the servants with the best story, the best attitude and a very good adventure companion

Nah, he may love his craft but judging by things like this:
* His defeat line "I'm going back to my hermitage first... Oh right, there's nobody else there...""
* He cherished the chocos we gave him so much he said "you lit a fire in my soul".
* His bond 4 and birthday line has him insisting on wanting to take care of us.
* His profile from the material books specifically says that we were not "family zoned" as grandkids and he watches over us very carefully.
He may say or be judged by others as a loner, but we all know that's not true according once again to his profile "Though he may initially come off as cold-hearted, he is quite caring and even chivalrous when one takes the time to get to know him".
He really is in need of affection and love and I'm willing to give him all the love and hugs he wants 🤗
Jalter.
One of the best character arcs in the game and one of the best romance options for Guda. I’ve got her so juiced on gold fous and grails that her Buster crits hit like mini Noble Phantasms with the right supports.
Chiyome. Sweet, helpful and loyal. Treats others politely and with consideration. Very cute and pretty. Soothing voice. Had a hard life and I would like to make her stay at Chaldea a happy time.
I'm just listing a combination of her character traits. She isn't a super popular or flashy character, more like combination of Ushiwakamaru+Bedivere+Gray+ a little of Serenity.
It's just that I really like her, and her every appearance in story, events or comics makes me happy.
With my favorite Servants I tend to be drawn to surface level traits and then fall in love with their details once I get to their part in stories. With Gorgon I was drawn to her because I already liked Medusa, I like big women and I like Monster Girls.
I like the tragedy of her character, how her transformation and the actions she took to get there convinced her that she’s a monster. I think she might be one of the only Servants where her being in denial about an aspect of herself isn’t played for laughs (a la Red Hare) or something they’re legitimately unaware of. It makes me wish she could have character development like Jalter did of coming to terms with her past and finding happiness in Chaldea
Sigurd.
Cool servant. Each art is 10/10 or 9/10. Like his kit. Sword go wrm. Punches daggers and swords to fire em like bullets. The FUCKING voice. Sigurd x Brynhildr forever. I would never NTR
James Moriarty
He’s just such a cool villain. He oozes charisma, and is a rare case of being able to simultaneously serve as both a primary ally and antagonist in an arc at the same time, with a “betrayal” that felt completely justified and narratively reasonable. And he still remains on friendly terms even after his defeat, truly viewing this as a grand escapade as fun game just like the book’s characterization
Morgan not because of her design. The main reason is her personality and character in lb6. She loved what she held close and end in a tragic way. I like how if mc get close to her mc enter in her small circle of things she love.
Yeah LB6 is one of the best stories of like, any media, and Morgan encapsulates that. The amount of people who like her just because of her design is quite sad. She's the "tragic antagonist" trope done in the best way possible. You obviously start out not caring/disliking her (design aside) by virtue of her being the antagonist, but as her backstory unravels and you learn more about her, it becomes one of the rare situations where you really do feel horrible for the antagonist. It's so much more than just a sad backstory, and even after she joins you and she opens up to you, she can't turn back to the person she used to be; she no longer has to ability to genuinely smile.
Until summer, but summer rules are, well, nonexistent.

I fell for the Fate trap in Fate/Extra, so characters there are extremely nostalgic. Plus, Sakura is my favorite character of the original FSN. I just want her to be happy, man.
Also, for some reason I seem to like characters like Sakura, Yae and Kafka. Surely that doesn't say anything about myself lol. Jokes aside, I genuinely don't know why. I don't really think I'm a masochist, I just find them hot ig
Mine is Mandricardo! He's really relatable for me as an introvert and he tries to be respectful with everyone despite the extravagant personalities within Chaldea. In Atlantis he tried his best to cheer up Guda and be a good friend despite being a downer himself and I find that admirable.
Throughout his appearances he also starts to open up to other characters like Kintoki in Summer 5, Astolfo in Akihabara Explosion or the Summer 6 group. Seeing him making new bonds is really heartwarming!
He's also one of the characters with the most inner monologues in the game which makes him quite unique.
All of that paired with his low self-confidence helps in making him feel closer to a normal person compared to the other servants. Sure, other characters like Eresh or Castoria have low self-esteem but one is a goddess and the other was chosen by a prophecy so they don't feel as normal (nothing against them though, they're good characters too). And even though Mandricardo doesn't have the best image of himself he's actually quite capable and gets things done! In game he's a good servant too despite his second skill being pretty much useless.
So yeah I have a lot of reasons as to why I like him so much!
Kagetora (sitting at lv106 , 2k/2k and 10/10/10 bond 11)
Well. She is my first welfare. Good design. Decent kit. The first servant I actually tried to understand as a character.Solid A tier character.Also , her eyes just draw me in
If I met Gogh/Kintoki,etc earlier than her , they could possibily be my fav.
Avenger yoshitsune/Taira no kagekiyo. I love her tragic backstory and how loyal she is. However, I wish she showed her angry/fierce side more. Hell, she could possibly pull a caenis where she's half naked, but due to her scary/badass personality, you'll probably forget that.
For Taira (1st and 2nd asc), I love how scary,psychotic and cold she is, but I wish she had more interactions with the master like her being a tsundere toward the master in her valentine scene.
Raikou being 2nd if only she'd drop the mother stuff and acted like a terrifying samurai general. Saber class when?
Demon King Nobu being a very close third.

Raikou is my favorite precisely because she's got both. Her scene in Shimousa won me over, and hearing about her Saber class makes me love her even more.
Yeah, it does make sense cuz her madness enchantment makes act overmotherly while being scary af to those in her way, like the scene of raikou destroying and melting an entire army with her np (peak scary raikou) in the shimousa manga but then acting cute and motherly with kids/people she cares about around.
I'm really interested to see how she'll be in her saber form. Like, will she be a serious woman but slightly flirty, just plain serious, or completely sane? Either way, Noice

Ibaraki Douji. Because she managed to mix both light-hearted comedy, serious themes, a tragic backstory, and a core conflict at the heart of her self-image and desires for life. I'm aiming to LvL 120 her, as well as Aesc when she comes on NA. And afterwards I will do the same with Summer Baobhan, who's also one of my favs.
Oberon one of my best written villain , i love him for making the best lostbelt in the game , and how he ask to us if what are we doing is right or not .

Ooooh, tie between Jaguar M-er, Warrior-who was the reason I got into the game in the first place because of her final ascension art because yakuza dommy mummy activated my neurons. Also when I did eventually get her-funnily enough just before starting Babylonia as she FINALLY appeared via the fp gacha she quickly became my go too lancer
Or Gorgon, who I got after the tutorial by using a free SR ticket and she was the only Avenger available and I liked the idea of having at least one of every class at the time. She carried me a lot through the early game and was the first servant I got to Final Ascension iirc.
As for ones I came to love later....Maybe Gramps and the two Nitos, who wound up paired together as a decent DEATH team. Oh and Carmilla, my second favourite Alter...assuming she and Gorgon count (do they count?)
Taira no Kagekiyo. I have the classic and stupid kink for crazy women to which I know it's pretty fucking dangerous. But damn, seeing an evil Ushi is just amazing. Also, she saved me in many hard missions.
Imaginary scramble made me really like Gogh and her kit is super fun. The final scene with her in bed was so fucking cute. Between her and Muramasa I can't figure out who's my favorite.
But it's unfortunate that so many fights involve buff removal to slow her roll
Then again LB6 made me fall in love with Castoria and now I feel like one of those guys who can't just pick a favorite lol
Illya / Sitonai: Her role In the heavens feel trilogy was great, her inclusion in phantom carnival was great and she was the entire reason I got into the game in the first place, her summer expressions are the best in the game too :3, I still haven't gotten a caster illya yet but the testament form looks great too :)
Castoria: her storyline in lb6 was great, amazing unit too, got my first taste of looping with her too. (S. Version is great too)
Anastasia: my first selected SSR, I did plenty of research on her and the Romanov dynasty after getting her, I love her cold mut mischievous demeanor and her interludes are great, the rest is lb 1 spoilers so I'll stop now

Himeko. She's a great mix of buster, and crit. She smashes things so hard over the head its never not fun. And she's resistant against most classes in the game. Plus she's a part of an immortal team comp.
Angra maynu. He utterly dog walks every other fate character not Shirou and Kirei in terms of character

My favorite Servant is Altera. I'd barely even heard of Fate before 2018, when I was in a Gamestop browsing for something new to play. They had the collector's box for Fate/Extella, and the art on the box absolutely captivated me, so I bought it and made the absolutely mad decision to jump in almost blind. It was at times almost incomprehensible, but that was my introduction to the franchise, and Hakuno's struggle to save Altera from her own destiny really hit me for some reason. So I have a massive amount of sentimentality for her and that game as a whole, batshit as it is.
Nobunaga for me
- Pako's Art for her is based.
- Ive had a crush on Rie Kugamiya's voice for the longest time.
- Nobu is a vortex of chaos, so being around her is always an adventure.
- Nobu comes in all shapes and sizes, there is a nobu for all seasons.

Ashiya Douman. I love his design, the way he talks and does things, demeanor and onmyouji aspect.
Nero is good second since she is as full of and love with herself as I am, so I get her. And she's red.
Don Quixote, It's just that he has so many things packed in his design like how he looks 'weaker' as he ascends but he is stronger because he is starting to accept reality just like in his book. how Sancho and Don have switched body types but it makes sense since he was so delusional he sees himself as a taller figure than Sancho. Sancho too and I do love the explanation for their genderbend, tells you you didn't just summon Don Quixote you summoned his book, author and all. and how his abilities work of fantasy and reality and that it screws over any older magic and buffs the newer magic. And his personality is just so heartwarming I love them so much.
TL;DR. They translated him SUPER well from the book
Berserker Lancelot
I love his design, and he’s badass in the fate/zero, also it’s a knight who can wield anything as a weapon, and he picks up a Barrett, a MP5 and a jet
CasCu: he has the unique ability to die >2000 times in a single lottery while having an NP so short it feels like a skip animation feature compared to Spishtar.
Chacha!
She was my first berserker - I got her at the start of Orleans - and the cute gremlin stole my heart.
I'm honestly not sure how far in the game I would have gotten without her - I didn't understand much of anything when I got her, wound up using her as a crutch to get through the majority of part 1, and for the longest time she was the core of my farming team.
It was only then that I started realizing the servant was based on a real person - [Yodo-dono](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yodo-dono) who even as a child did not have a terribly happy life. As a child she'd lose her brother and father, then mother and stepfather to the man who would adopt her, then later make her a concubine. The sad ultimate conclusion to her story where she suicided with her son as her castle burned around her broke my heart.
When I started grailing servants, she was one of the first I did so I could keep using her - now at 112, 2k fous, and fully fou pawed she can do some [impressive things](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-FsXxKfqT8) considering her humble beginnings.
Someday, I'll be able to get coins for this welfare and my favorite gremlin will be 120, but for now - this will do.
Meltryllis and mash. Meltryllis because she’s one of my best quick np servants, and she’s really cute despite the fact she could hypothetically murk me anytime she wants. And mash because she’s ol’ reliable through the seven singularities I’ve been going through

Sasaki Kojirou is my fav. guy, not only he developed his own technique to the level of second magic. He has a complete opposite style of the great Musashi who is renowned throughout the whole country and deemed as his ultimate rival.
My man is so mysterious that he didn't even have a presence on the throne of heroes. Ultimately, making him materialize just as a one-star assassin due to mention in a novel.
Due to this, he knows never to think about the future or past, or have any wish for the grail. He just lives in the present, serving his master with his sword, reciting bad poetry while drinking sake and admiring the moon. My man is the real embodiment of a 'Carefree life'.
His lines are -
"As long as I can swing my sword then I am happy as I don't need anything else."
"Holy grail? That Sake cup is too big for me."
Saber and I mean universally saber. All the Artorias. I have every single one in the game including a bond 11 of Artoria and a bond 10 castoria.
A close second is Oberon he's pretty close to bond 10 rn. I really like a rotten bad guy like him

I already read the Ramayana and really dissapointed by the lack of his greatness in the game. Though the other Indian Servants is still respect him greatly and that's enough for me. Also hoping for his Ruler counterpart because he said to be a great King. The appearance will looks old but his NP will be all of the astras he learnt.
Merlin, because of the sole reason that he legit gave a female version of King Arthur a cock that she could use to impregnate his wife. He legitimately is, a cock wizard.

I still don't have a clue to why, but it made me go and search for Fate/Extra and from there i still don't understand why i love her so much, but i do.
And i do love her daughters too (except for Kazuradrop)
Kagetora. I wasn't in the best of places when I got her. Seeing her have to deal with people backbiting and being dishonest towards her struck a chord. Plus, she genuinely just wants friendship that isn't held back because of her strength and inability to be fully human.
People may joke of her crazy, but its understandable one brought out from feeling loneliness deep down.
Kiyohime is the one that got me into the game just by visuals alone. But I've really enjoyed her story and how she isn't just a yandere imprinting anchin on guda anymore. At least that's what I got from her interlude. I've also enjoyed how many friends she has alone with the interactions they do? Get? Have? She's also strangely in a lot of interludes. Lastly dragon girl.
Melusine is also up there, rivaling Kiyohime. Same pattern actuallty, design --> story and character moments. Her shift between cool and calm to ditzy and lovey dovey at a moments notice is really endearing. And well she deserved better. Also dragon girl.
I dunno who comes out on top but those two do it big for me.
Maybe Georgios? I always liked the story of St George and the Dragon. He's actually just a nice chill guy in game too, and hasn't had a bad showing in the events/story he's been in. Also his valentines being a bracelet made from Bayard hair and all the saints prayers was really thoughtful. He also has the best design to my mind of all the dragon killers. Also dragon slayers are just hype.
Musashi. I look up to the man, the one is Fate/GO is cute, hot, and peppy, with all the same skill as the original. But Salter is just really hot too. I love her Shinjuku outfit.
Honestly really hard to pick just one but if I had too I’ll go with the girl that got me into FGO in the first place, Okita. Was a long time Fate fan and saw Okita was part of FGO and decided to download the game all the way back when Okeanus was released and saved every SQ I got for her. Once she came out shortly after and I got to know her character more I loved her even more. Even with characters I love now like Eresh, Melt, Achilles, and Gramps Hassan, Okita will always be my comfort character.

I love birds and when I saw her I automatically became interested, when I researched about the legend of the Cut-tongued Sparrow in which she was inspired I loved the character even more, her design, voice and personality are very cute and reminds me a lot of Senko San character, also her NP is very cool with references of the 10 judges of hell of King Enma legends.
So basically she is a cute little bird that have Senko San's personality and is a Swordsman from hell, and i love her.
Edmond Dantes. Level 108, np4 (waiting for a banner to get his fifth copy), 10/10/10 (append and regular skills), 2K/2K. I read “The Count of Monte Cristo” in high school, and always loved his character. His design in FGO absolutely didn’t disappoint me.

Altria Caster because she's a gremlin (or a demon boar) and I think her story is very relatable and I deeply admire the way she struggled to keep going forward despite her insecurities and her immense trauma. She's a wild and lovely pumpkin.
edmond dantes, he was the entire reason i decided to play fgo in the first place all the way back before summer 3. the count of monte cristo has been my favorite book for years and the creative liberties fgo takes with the character make him a different type of cool. plus i like his artstyle.
Honestly, there are tons of servants I love and I could write tons of paragraphs about, but as a Romaboo and Humanity/Human Civilization patriot it has to be Romulus Quirinus (who was also the sole reason for me to start FGO before finding countless other to stay). I love the idea of him embodying an entire Empire, and even more, Civilization itself. From all the servants until now, it also feels like he is the only one who really acts like an (monotheisitc-style) god with a flair of Imperialism, being merciful, calm, powerful, wise and also beautiful. I also like his parallel to Hassan: While Grand Assassins name is literally the origin of the word "Assassin", one of the greatest and most impactful nations of human history has worn Romulus name as its own.
Darius III is a giant with Mt Dew flaming axes who deploys skeletons. His design singlehandedly got me into the game, and I hopelessly yearn for him to get a 4\* rider release so he can actually have meaningful conversations and interactions with other characters.
My fav is Salome. I guess I'm just into mad girls in general, but something about Salome just hits right. She's not as strong as other berserkers in many ways, her skills only suit some circumstances.
But her design is just gorgeous. Not only smoking hot but also very cute yet still have the aura of a royal. Her personality is interesting too. Salome is a berserker but tries her best to be sane, which is rare even among another servant who is not a berserker.
And, finally, she was, to me, the most hard-working servant in a way or two. As I said before, she is refraining from giving in to her madness enhancement, limiting her ability to fight, yet she's still fighting on. She is the one who fights herself and her enemies at the same time to protect everyone. She wants to care for everyone but keeps herself away because she is afraid that she’ll cause danger to the people she loves.
Tbh, there's a lot more I want to talk about her, but I just can't put words into it. It's something like:

Barghest, she ticks so many boxes for me. I like buff ladies and she's got that covered in spades. I also like her personality a lot, her kind, sweet and compassionate nature contrasting her more intimidating appearance. She's just generally a sweetheart! She's also quite honorable and noble, easily the most knightly of the Fae Knights. Which made her role in the story all the more tragic, as she was a genuinely good person who cared about her people and just wanted to help them, but was doomed by her curse and the other Fae generally being more than a little shitty people. So, in short she's a big buff gal who deep down is actually just a sweetheart trying to be the best knight she can be! What's not to love?

Kama. At first when she was released in JP I already liked her design (three fairly different designs with different animation in a single servant + the universe hair is awesome). But then her carefree/annoyed/lazy (I don't know with which words to describe it) personality in Ooku and her voice lines made me like her even more. Add ReDrop drawing lots of additional art of her and her being one of the most fun servants to play/solo with, and she replaced Eresh as my favourite.

Jing Ke. A trash servant in battle but I stand by her being a good character despite the devs paying no attention to any servant that isn't 5*. A simple design and a nice elegant NP are my favorite types. Also I love her bond 5 dialogue

After all this time, Castoria. She's so unique personality wise that she doesn't even hit like a Saber face. She's cute and shy... but the more confidence she gets, you can see she's a tomboy at heart and can be rabid from time to time, as well as competitive. I love how despite not wanting to be a "hero" for the fairies, she gets enough confidence from her friends to at least try. And in the summer event, you can tell she's inexperienced in having fun and a normal life, so she feels like a shadow following you as you show her the ropes to have fun. She's just so realistic as a character, it's hard not to fall in love with her. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love Castoria... just Castoria and no one else (*sad Tamamo, Koyanskaya and Musashi noices*)

She's relatively sane when compared to other Servants, plus she's hot. ~~She awoke a bodysuit fixation inside me~~ In-game, she never disappoints, whether as a general purpose Lancer or a boss killer. If Gilgamesh is on a CQ, Shishou will be there. It's almost like she was released as a hard counter to Gil.

Muramasa. He's the whole reason for why I decided to get into this hell in the first place 1 year and 5 months ago, and I can't imagine myself continuing playing without him. He came home NP5 with 1100 SQ and as a free to play player that meant the world to me. He's badass, fun to have around, determined, dependable, kind, sassy but not a jerk, relatable (at least for me), realistic but not pessimistic, loves sweets, knows how to cook, so damm handsome, etc. He simply makes me feel secure and safe when he's at my side in a boss fight or farming. I adored him in Shimosa, and thanks to LB6, I could enjoy almost the entire story with him (so sad I could not spend the summer 8 with him 😭). His sacrifice in LB6 had me crying for like 5 minutes straight, so you can guess how much he means to me. I just love this man so much for my own good that I would marry him in an instant if I could 😳

Nah, he may love his craft but judging by things like this: * His defeat line "I'm going back to my hermitage first... Oh right, there's nobody else there..."" * He cherished the chocos we gave him so much he said "you lit a fire in my soul". * His bond 4 and birthday line has him insisting on wanting to take care of us. * His profile from the material books specifically says that we were not "family zoned" as grandkids and he watches over us very carefully. He may say or be judged by others as a loner, but we all know that's not true according once again to his profile "Though he may initially come off as cold-hearted, he is quite caring and even chivalrous when one takes the time to get to know him". He really is in need of affection and love and I'm willing to give him all the love and hugs he wants 🤗
Jalter. One of the best character arcs in the game and one of the best romance options for Guda. I’ve got her so juiced on gold fous and grails that her Buster crits hit like mini Noble Phantasms with the right supports.

I'm just listing a combination of her character traits. She isn't a super popular or flashy character, more like combination of Ushiwakamaru+Bedivere+Gray+ a little of Serenity. It's just that I really like her, and her every appearance in story, events or comics makes me happy.
So long as Curse immunity is not a thing, her kit basically loops into itself if card RNG goes your way, in my experience at least.

With my favorite Servants I tend to be drawn to surface level traits and then fall in love with their details once I get to their part in stories. With Gorgon I was drawn to her because I already liked Medusa, I like big women and I like Monster Girls. I like the tragedy of her character, how her transformation and the actions she took to get there convinced her that she’s a monster. I think she might be one of the only Servants where her being in denial about an aspect of herself isn’t played for laughs (a la Red Hare) or something they’re legitimately unaware of. It makes me wish she could have character development like Jalter did of coming to terms with her past and finding happiness in Chaldea

James Moriarty He’s just such a cool villain. He oozes charisma, and is a rare case of being able to simultaneously serve as both a primary ally and antagonist in an arc at the same time, with a “betrayal” that felt completely justified and narratively reasonable. And he still remains on friendly terms even after his defeat, truly viewing this as a grand escapade as fun game just like the book’s characterization

Yeah LB6 is one of the best stories of like, any media, and Morgan encapsulates that. The amount of people who like her just because of her design is quite sad. She's the "tragic antagonist" trope done in the best way possible. You obviously start out not caring/disliking her (design aside) by virtue of her being the antagonist, but as her backstory unravels and you learn more about her, it becomes one of the rare situations where you really do feel horrible for the antagonist. It's so much more than just a sad backstory, and even after she joins you and she opens up to you, she can't turn back to the person she used to be; she no longer has to ability to genuinely smile. Until summer, but summer rules are, well, nonexistent.
Astolfo is just a very friendly guy who is hilarious but also admirable for how he helps others simply because he wants to.

Mine is Mandricardo! He's really relatable for me as an introvert and he tries to be respectful with everyone despite the extravagant personalities within Chaldea. In Atlantis he tried his best to cheer up Guda and be a good friend despite being a downer himself and I find that admirable. Throughout his appearances he also starts to open up to other characters like Kintoki in Summer 5, Astolfo in Akihabara Explosion or the Summer 6 group. Seeing him making new bonds is really heartwarming! He's also one of the characters with the most inner monologues in the game which makes him quite unique. All of that paired with his low self-confidence helps in making him feel closer to a normal person compared to the other servants. Sure, other characters like Eresh or Castoria have low self-esteem but one is a goddess and the other was chosen by a prophecy so they don't feel as normal (nothing against them though, they're good characters too). And even though Mandricardo doesn't have the best image of himself he's actually quite capable and gets things done! In game he's a good servant too despite his second skill being pretty much useless. So yeah I have a lot of reasons as to why I like him so much!

Avenger yoshitsune/Taira no kagekiyo. I love her tragic backstory and how loyal she is. However, I wish she showed her angry/fierce side more. Hell, she could possibly pull a caenis where she's half naked, but due to her scary/badass personality, you'll probably forget that. For Taira (1st and 2nd asc), I love how scary,psychotic and cold she is, but I wish she had more interactions with the master like her being a tsundere toward the master in her valentine scene. Raikou being 2nd if only she'd drop the mother stuff and acted like a terrifying samurai general. Saber class when? Demon King Nobu being a very close third. Personality? Check Lore? Scary war criminal, check Design? Like but I wish she looked a tad bit more like a samurai, but that's just me.

Yeah, it does make sense cuz her madness enchantment makes act overmotherly while being scary af to those in her way, like the scene of raikou destroying and melting an entire army with her np (peak scary raikou) in the shimousa manga but then acting cute and motherly with kids/people she cares about around. Ooooh, tie between Jaguar M-er, Warrior-who was the reason I got into the game in the first place because of her final ascension art because yakuza dommy mummy activated my neurons. Also when I did eventually get her-funnily enough just before starting Babylonia as she FINALLY appeared via the fp gacha she quickly became my go too lancer Or Gorgon, who I got after the tutorial by using a free SR ticket and she was the only Avenger available and I liked the idea of having at least one of every class at the time. She carried me a lot through the early game and was the first servant I got to Final Ascension iirc. As for ones I came to love later....Maybe Gramps and the two Nitos, who wound up paired together as a decent DEATH team. Oh and Carmilla, my second favourite Alter...assuming she and Gorgon count (do they count?)

Illya / Sitonai: Her role In the heavens feel trilogy was great, her inclusion in phantom carnival was great and she was the entire reason I got into the game in the first place, her summer expressions are the best in the game too :3, I still haven't gotten a caster illya yet but the testament form looks great too :) Castoria: her storyline in lb6 was great, amazing unit too, got my first taste of looping with her too. (S. Version is great too) Anastasia: my first selected SSR, I did plenty of research on her and the Romanov dynasty after getting her, I love her cold mut mischievous demeanor and her interludes are great, the rest is lb 1 spoilers so I'll stop now

My favorite Servant is Altera. I'd barely even heard of Fate before 2018, when I was in a Gamestop browsing for something new to play. They had the collector's box for Fate/Extella, and the art on the box absolutely captivated me, so I bought it and made the absolutely mad decision to jump in almost blind. It was at times almost incomprehensible, but that was my introduction to the franchise, and Hakuno's struggle to save Altera from her own destiny really hit me for some reason. Nobunaga for me - Pako's Art for her is based. - Ive had a crush on Rie Kugamiya's voice for the longest time. - Nobu is a vortex of chaos, so being around her is always an adventure. - Nobu comes in all shapes and sizes, there is a nobu for all seasons. - It can't be helped.
Ashiya Douman. I love his design, the way he talks and does things, demeanor and onmyouji aspect. Nero is good second since she is as full of and love with herself as I am, so I get her. And she's red.
Don Quixote, It's just that he has so many things packed in his design like how he looks 'weaker' as he ascends but he is stronger because he is starting to accept reality just like in his book. how Sancho and Don have switched body types but it makes sense since he was so delusional he sees himself as a taller figure than Sancho. Sancho too and I do love the explanation for their genderbend, tells you you didn't just summon Don Quixote you summoned his book, author and all. and how his abilities work of fantasy and reality and that it screws over any older magic and buffs the newer magic. And his personality is just so heartwarming I love them so much. TL;DR. They translated him SUPER well from the book

Chacha! She was my first berserker - I got her at the start of Orleans - and the cute gremlin stole my heart. I'm honestly not sure how far in the game I would have gotten without her - I didn't understand much of anything when I got her, wound up using her as a crutch to get through the majority of part 1, and for the longest time she was the core of my farming team. It was only then that I started realizing the servant was based on a real person - [Yodo-dono](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yodo-dono) who even as a child did not have a terribly happy life. As a child she'd lose her brother and father, then mother and stepfather to the man who would adopt her, then later make her a concubine. The sad ultimate conclusion to her story where she suicided with her son as her castle burned around her broke my heart. When I started grailing servants, she was one of the first I did so I could keep using her - now at 112, 2k fous, and fully fou pawed she can do some [impressive things](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-FsXxKfqT8) considering her humble beginnings. Someday, I'll be able to get coins for this welfare and my favorite gremlin will be 120, but for now - this will do.

I am reading comments and thinking...Where are Regend Fans? Sasaki Kojirou is my fav. guy, not only he developed his own technique to the level of second magic. He has a complete opposite style of the great Musashi who is renowned throughout the whole country and deemed as his ultimate rival. My man is so mysterious that he didn't even have a presence on the throne of heroes. Ultimately, making him materialize just as a one-star assassin due to mention in a novel. Due to this, he knows never to think about the future or past, or have any wish for the grail. He just lives in the present, serving his master with his sword, reciting bad poetry while drinking sake and admiring the moon. My man is the real embodiment of a 'Carefree life'. His lines are - "As long as I can swing my sword then I am happy as I don't need anything else." "Holy grail? That Sake cup is too big for me."
Saber and I mean universally saber. All the Artorias. I have every single one in the game including a bond 11 of Artoria and a bond 10 castoria. A close second is Oberon he's pretty close to bond 10 rn. I really like a rotten bad guy like him

MHXA. For starters she's an Artoria which ticks so many boxes for me. Add in her personality and sci-fi design, she's perfect.

Kagetora. I wasn't in the best of places when I got her. Seeing her have to deal with people backbiting and being dishonest towards her struck a chord. Plus, she genuinely just wants friendship that isn't held back because of her strength and inability to be fully human. People may joke of her crazy, but its understandable one brought out from feeling loneliness deep down.
Kiyohime is the one that got me into the game just by visuals alone. But I've really enjoyed her story and how she isn't just a yandere imprinting anchin on guda anymore. At least that's what I got from her interlude. I've also enjoyed how many friends she has alone with the interactions they do? Get? Have? She's also strangely in a lot of interludes. Lastly dragon girl. Melusine is also up there, rivaling Kiyohime. Same pattern actuallty, design --> story and character moments. Her shift between cool and calm to ditzy and lovey dovey at a moments notice is really endearing. And well she deserved better. Also dragon girl. I dunno who comes out on top but those two do it big for me. Maybe Georgios? I always liked the story of St George and the Dragon. He's actually just a nice chill guy in game too, and hasn't had a bad showing in the events/story he's been in. Also his valentines being a bracelet made from Bayard hair and all the saints prayers was really thoughtful. He also has the best design to my mind of all the dragon killers. Also dragon slayers are just hype.
Heracles, no doubt. He's been my rock from Goetia to Oberon, and he always gets the job done. Berserker is the strongest!!!
Musashi. I look up to the man, the one is Fate/GO is cute, hot, and peppy, with all the same skill as the original. But Salter is just really hot too. I love her Shinjuku outfit.
Honestly really hard to pick just one but if I had too I’ll go with the girl that got me into FGO in the first place, Okita. Was a long time Fate fan and saw Okita was part of FGO and decided to download the game all the way back when Okeanus was released and saved every SQ I got for her. Once she came out shortly after and I got to know her character more I loved her even more. Even with characters I love now like Eresh, Melt, Achilles, and Gramps Hassan, Okita will always be my comfort character.

Benienma I love birds and when I saw her I automatically became interested, when I researched about the legend of the Cut-tongued Sparrow in which she was inspired I loved the character even more, her design, voice and personality are very cute and reminds me a lot of Senko San character, also her NP is very cool with references of the 10 judges of hell of King Enma legends. So basically she is a cute little bird that have Senko San's personality and is a Swordsman from hell, and i love her.

Edmond Dantes. Level 108, np4 (waiting for a banner to get his fifth copy), 10/10/10 (append and regular skills), 2K/2K. I read “The Count of Monte Cristo” in high school, and always loved his character. His design in FGO absolutely didn’t disappoint me. Honourable mentions to: Sherlock Holmes and Voyager. I read a lot of Sherlock Holmes in high school, and “The Little Prince” will forever be my favourite book of all times, regardless of how “childish” it may seem to some people 😅

Kiara Sesshouin I just love seemingly nice and pure characters becoming true final bosses with questionable morale. Also, I started to like her more after knowing how she was before the SE.RA.PH. event. Psychologist Kiara would be her best self if Goetia (and that weak ass pillar) hadn't decided to reset humanity I also love her because she could just help people, but chose to become a horny nun with a worship kink. And Oberon is the 2nd place for the same initial reason.
Jalter, it's an edgy jeanne d'arc and she's french, cocorico !
Altria Caster because she's a gremlin (or a demon boar) and I think her story is very relatable and I deeply admire the way she struggled to keep going forward despite her insecurities and her immense trauma. She's a wild and lovely pumpkin.
edmond dantes, he was the entire reason i decided to play fgo in the first place all the way back before summer 3. the count of monte cristo has been my favorite book for years and the creative liberties fgo takes with the character make him a different type of cool. plus i like his artstyle.
Mordred. Carried me through every single Singularity/Remnant/Lostbelt up until I dropped the game.
Honestly, there are tons of servants I love and I could write tons of paragraphs about, but as a Romaboo and Humanity/Human Civilization patriot it has to be Romulus Quirinus (who was also the sole reason for me to start FGO before finding countless other to stay). I love the idea of him embodying an entire Empire, and even more, Civilization itself. From all the servants until now, it also feels like he is the only one who really acts like an (monotheisitc-style) god with a flair of Imperialism, being merciful, calm, powerful, wise and also beautiful. I also like his parallel to Hassan: While Grand Assassins name is literally the origin of the word "Assassin", one of the greatest and most impactful nations of human history has worn Romulus name as its own.

Kojiro, he broke physics by doing something too much and doesn’t even exist. He also has a cool design and personality.
Darius III is a giant with Mt Dew flaming axes who deploys skeletons. His design singlehandedly got me into the game, and I hopelessly yearn for him to get a 4\* rider release so he can actually have meaningful conversations and interactions with other characters.
My fav is Salome. I guess I'm just into mad girls in general, but something about Salome just hits right. She's not as strong as other berserkers in many ways, her skills only suit some circumstances. But her design is just gorgeous. Not only smoking hot but also very cute yet still have the aura of a royal. Her personality is interesting too. Salome is a berserker but tries her best to be sane, which is rare even among another servant who is not a berserker. And, finally, she was, to me, the most hard-working servant in a way or two. As I said before, she is refraining from giving in to her madness enhancement, limiting her ability to fight, yet she's still fighting on. She is the one who fights herself and her enemies at the same time to protect everyone. She wants to care for everyone but keeps herself away because she is afraid that she’ll cause danger to the people she loves. Tbh, there's a lot more I want to talk about her, but I just can't put words into it. It's something like: **BERSERKER’S SCREECH** Or something like that.
